2023.06.09 16:47 Adventurous-Ear9433 Teotihuacan: Purpose of mica, pyrite, mercury, Genetic Evidence for 2 founding populations
Teotihuacan was built on a geodetic grid system (a power center) in perfect sacred geometrical alignment with the cosmos to harness the energy of earth and sky. To understand it, we must go back to the original truth of the purpose. advanced design of Teotihuacan suggests that ancient builders had knowledge, not only of architecture, but of complex mathematical and astronomical sciences. The term 'Teohuacan' was found inscribed halfway across the globe on monuments in China, the term means 'place of the sun'(*our translation is 'Place to tie up the sun)Mercury, Hermes was the great Messenger, which also speaks for the planets quick trips around the sun. An aerial view shocked many researchers, but following the traditions we know what every pyramid was used for.
Circuit Board-Teohuatican with two large processor chips— the Sun Pyramid and the Moon Pyramid. . One of the most interesting things about Teotihuacan is the finding by archaeologists of the extensive use of mica embedded in numerous structures. This mineral is found 3,000 miles away in Brazil and it is found in all buildings, housing complexes, temples and along the roads so basically this mineral is all over Teotihuacan.
The pyramid of the Sun in Teotihuacan contained considerable amounts of mica in layers up to 30 cm. Human use of mica dates back to prehistoric times. Mica was known to ancient Indian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman andChinese civilizations, as well as the Aztec civilization of the New World. The earliest use of mica has been found in cave paintings created during the Upper Paleolithic period (40,000 BC to 10,000 BC). The ancient civilizations & their inexplicable similarities are only shocking when one has disregarded our ancestors traditions as 'mythical ', which is a mistake made by academics only recently.
Mica is stable when exposed to electricity, light, moisture, and extreme temperatures. It has superior electrical properties as an insulator and as a dielectric, and can support an electrostatic field while dissipating minimal energy in the form of heat; it can be split very thin (0.025 to 0.125 millimeters or thinner) while maintaining its electrical properties, has a high dielectric breakdown, is thermally stable to 500 °C, and is resistant to corona discharge. Muscovite, the principal mica used by the electrical industry, is used in capacitors that are ideal for high frequency and radio frequency. Phlogopite mica remains stable at higher temperatures (to 900 °C) and is used in applications in which a combination of high-heat stability and electrical properties is required. Muscovite and phlogopite are used in sheet and ground forms.
The Maya Codex Vaticanus records faithfully the very ancient oral traditions of Central America. In one curious passage it states that “in the First Age, giants existed in that country(Mexico). "These 7 who escaped from a deluge , arrive in Cholula and there began to build a tower… in order that should a deluge come again he might escape to it.” Nahuatl language it’s named Tlachihualtepetl (‘artificial mountain’). Originally it was named Acholollan (‘water that falls in the place of flight’).
-Olmec(Xi)-had two different religious associations (gya-fa):the jaguar-man or humano-feline cult and the humano-bird cult. The humano-feline cult was called the nama-tigi by the Olmecs, while the humano-feline cult was called the kuno-tigi..
Xoc Bas Birdman The Teotihuacan(
Tlalocan )mural depicts a range of mountains covered in rolling clouds and mists, below a brilliant red sky dominated by the huge figure of Tláloc, the Maya/Aztec god of celestial waters. Falling from Tláloc's open hands are flaming droplets of celestial water, likely representing the high-resonance isotope of protium, that overtly reference the ignition of celestial water vapor to form HHO plasma. The differentiation of celestial waters from terrestrial waters through the infrasonic evaporation of water vapor corresponds to special modern water purification processes involving the separation of resonant lightwater (protium) from dissonant heavy waters
deuterium & tritium The plumed headdress of Tláloc is comprised of radiating feathers of green and red hues, representing the colors of auroral plasma. Three arching red plumes stand out from the other green plumes of the headdress, extending from either side of the central figure and from the foreheads (pineal glands) of the two smaller figures in profile, representing the three frequencies of sound that generate nonlinear standing waves. Rising above the giant central figure of Tláloc is a majestic twisting Tree of Life image, composed of intertwining plumes of yellow/green and pink/red aerial HHO plasma that appear identical to modern photographs of the plasma discharges of red sprites.
Tláloc, God of Celestial Water, god of the vapor that rises, from the earth warmed by the sun after the rains, god of the mist that ascends from the valleys at dawn, god of the water that returns to its source in the clouds that swim over the highest peaks, god of the humid incense from which rise the copal prayers and the prayers of sacrifice Tláloc is the return of vapor that strains to rise, is the return of time that strains to remember. Tláloc, God of the Fight Against the Current, with whose aid the hero battles against the torrent toward his own origin and beginning, towards the wings of his soul, the wings that Tláloc hides in the hero's past The cycle of years is past - the waiting ended. Come - reunite, pilgrims, for the sky is in flames! From Xochicalco to Teotíhuacan the red spreads one step, another step, and another, only twelve short steps from the cave of the womb to the final conflagration The red skies depicted in the Teotihuacan mural are also directly referenced in the Pyramid of Fire Codex, when it states that "the sky will be in flames" that will spread from one pyamid to another, as the worldwide netwrok of pyramids and sacred sites become activated to bath the area in the brilliant infrared and ultraviolet-A light of aerial HHO plasma plumes.ancient, unknown science designed to create energy directed up is excavating the tunnel.
-The geoposition of Teotihuacan pyramid complex (19.68°N 98.83°W), reveals a nonlinear (or Fibonacci-based) resonant alignment with respect to the Great Pyramid of Giza, being 7,684 miles away or 30.9% of the Earth's mean circumference (of 24,892 miles)..which is also observed in the Paracas petroglyphs.
The Sanskrit descendant cultures of Asia express the same essential interpretation given by the Maya culture of Central America; identifying the planet Mercury as ‘the fast runner’ that takes ‘quick flight’ around the sun, having a short orbital period of approximately 88 days. Among Nahuatl cultures, the art of running was crucial to the functioning of society, enabling the rapid conveyance of messages over long distance.
Mercury is the link (messenger) between the gods (higher principles) and humankind. In the ancient art of alchemy, such as in Hermeticism, Mercury, sulfur, and salt were the Earth's three principle substances that represent the trinity in creation. As sulphur is the symbol for the active principle, mercury is the symbol of the passive principle. The symbol of Mercury is the cosmic womb being incubated by the cross of the four elements of creation - earth, air, fire and water. Mercury is the messenger in Astrology as it is in mythology. It is the planet of day-to-day expression and communication. Mercury's action is to take things apart and put them back together again. It is an opportunistic planet, decidedly unemotional and curious. Mercury not only rules communication, it represents coordination. Thought processes, ideas, and sensory information from both unconscious and unconscious sources all need to be coordinated and understood.
Ive said before that the mercury was used to accomplish communication wth the Gods, The fluid metal element mercury was extolled as generating the luminosity of the blood of gods, for its threefold biophotonic extension of human longevity, whereby adepts of the alchemical arts were able to attain long lifespans. Mercury was closely associated with its extreme volatility, which must be carefully controlled to achieve positive results. Mercury was considered an ethereal element for its low boiling point of 357°C. When heated above this temperature, quicksilver will rapidly vaporize as toxic fumes inspiring an association with quick flight: ‘mercury has wings’.
A number of the Mesoamerican pyramids there are key components designed into their construction that act as magnifiers. These components appear to be important in the creation, magnification, and distribution of telluric fields.
Pyramid & Scalar WavesEarly Irrigation of Teotihuacan Provenance od Limestone used in Teotihuacan Identification of Pyrite & Hematite • Water, either moving naturally including rivers or cenotes (found at El Castillo at Chichen Itza) or by artificial canals or tunnels, similar to the Temple of Inscription found at Palenque.)
• Geo-magnetic fields. Naturally formed telluric fields that have high and low period throughout day and night.
• Pyramid design. The specific pyramid shape appears to greatly enhance the telluric fields that pulse up and into the center of the chamber.
• Pyramid interior fill. At a number of pyramids, rocks that are good electromagnetic conductors fill the interior of the pyramids and are used to enhance the pulsing field. Rocks that have veins with quartz, granite, and other electrical conducting properties appear to be favored.
Characterization of lime carbonates in plasters from Teotihuacan, Mexico: preliminary results of cathodoluminescence and carbon isotope analyses Dr Burke &Dr Brooker research determined that each location had been chosen because of its naturally occurring telluric energy field that pulsed up and into the structure or surrounding area. Also Burke and his research partner Kaj Halberg discovered electro-magnetic signatures that measured impressive charges on top of the pyramid. In a series of scans, the readings showed an average change of 908 volts over a short period of time, which was concentrated in the early morning hours. As ive stated in the past, this is the ideal time for sungazing. The pineal, contains magnetite & creates its own magnetic field. This was once a universal practice at Sacred sites, in 2009 until Nov 2012 The grand maya council held 52 full moon ritual of the new cycle where we visited sacred sites around the world and brought back these rituals. Burke mentions the readings and states, “These voltages might sound lethal and if it were a household current they could be. However, static electric charge in the air is a different type of electricity and even a thousand volts is not dangerous.” His discovery of pyramid field generation is fascinating, but what he actually uncovered was a means of generating and perhaps distributing electromagnetic energy within a pyramid complex. Which aligns with the term used for the ancient Egyptians, the Great PrNtr-house of Nature, or house of energy).
Stanford edu-Native American & Polynesian population The
Genetic Evidence for 2 founding populations has constantly confirmed our traditions, the idea of independent invention is absolute nonsense. Theres an overwhelming amount of evidence, "believe" is a term unfamiliar to Dogon culture & ive yet to see the point in such a thing. If preconceived biases have clouded the minds of the majority, and they ignore evidence thats their fault. The age of the Fourth Sun, the Age of the Black Headed People (Aztec), or the Age of Heroes (Inca). This is the era in which Quetzalcoatl appeared in Mexico -- tall of stature, bright of countenance, bearded, and wearing a long tunic. His staff, shaped like a serpent, was painted black, white, and red [reminiscent of American Indians' mythology of three races of Man]. The staff was inlaid with precious stones and adorned with six stars.
-Between the 14th and 16th centuries during the Aztec era, Quetzalcoatl was worshipped as the patron of priests, the inventor of books and the calendar, as well as the protector of goldsmiths and other craftsmen..Shamanism, was invented in west Africa & brought to the Mesoamerican civilizations. The Aztec oral traditions say that
Quetzalcoatl & his followers brought these beliefs ,and came from the East across the oceans. This is now corroborated by genetic, skeletal remains, artifacts, you name it. Quetzalcoatl was just a High Priest of Anu. The Gold tipped spears,or as Columbus calls it ' guanin 'to the Indians of Hispaniola. Samples of which sent back to Spain on a mail boat, and the proportion was found to be identical to what was being forged in African Guinea.
Moche Reed BoatThe Xi(Olmec) were a mix of a Polynesian/Oceanic elite aristocratic people accompanied by priests of the Orisha(Yoruba)/Mende(MalinkeBambara)responsible for introducing the religious practices and astronomical worship of the Mother Goddess complex (Venus, the Dogon Sirius observation and the Venus worship of the Olmecs, the use of the ax in the worship of Shango among he Yoruba of West Africa and the use of the ax in Olmec worship as well as the prominence of the thunder God later known as Tlalock among the Aztecs). It was R1b-V88(Yoruba) that were known as magicians to the Mayans & local Aymara over in Bolivia because of their knowledge of acoustics, which they have preserved from the Nile Valley (Anu colleges of Heliopolis).
Again, we see Toward the end of the Fourth Sun, wars between the gods were taking place. [The Battle of the Titans?] The gods' war brought havoc to the land; wild animals overran mankind, and Tollan was abandoned. The fourth Sun had begun 5,042 years before the time of the Codex Vaticano-Latino 3738 (1533). The time the Fourth Sun ended is not stated, but the Codex was written during the Fifth Sun. The Fourth Sun may have perished by means of the Jaguar. The Fifth Sun is referred to as the Age of Kings by the Incas.

2023.06.09 15:48 Marathon0192 Making/Updating Signature Moves for Pokémon Day 7: Vileplume and Parasect
I made/updated some new signature moves for Gen 1 Pokémon that would hopefully give them some newfound viability. Some of these attacks are likely too broken but that is kinda the point because most of the older Pokémon need a big power boost to contend with meta Pokémon today. Please feel free the share new ideas and feedback!
Signature Move for Vileplume: Acid Rain – Poison/Special/130 POW/100 ACC/10 PP/The user attacks the target by scattering toxic petals that can hit STEEL-type Pokémon for two to three turns with each hit having a chance to burn the target. The user and any opposing Pokémon then become confused.
This move is intended to be an upgraded version of Petal Dance, the move that used to be Vileplume's signature move until Gen 3. The new attack, Acid Rain, is Poison type so you can still run Petal Dance too if you want. The main draws of the new attack are being a Poison type attack that has a 20% chance to burn the target, being able to hit Steel type Pokemon for neutral damage and it confusing both Vileplume and the opponent when the move ends. Vileplume's ability Effect Spore could lead to some silly shenanigans. Imagine confusing and paralyzing the opponent in one turn because you used a strong move.
Signature Move for Parasect: Ophiate – Bug/Status/-/100 ACC/10 PP/The user scatters bursts of spores that induce sleep. The spores infest the target for four to five turns, dealing 1/8 of the target’s HP per turn. If the target switches to another party member, the infestation continues on that target. Does not affect BUG-type Pokémon
There is no doubt that Spore is a powerful move. Having guaranteed sleep used to be enough of a niche to give Parasect some competitive play. But now, as other Pokemon who are faster and not 5x times weak to fire (with Dry Skin) have Spore, parasect has completely fallen off. That is why this new move is Spore but like better. It combines Spore and Infestation while changing from being ineffective on grass types to being ineffective on bug types. This buffs the bug type as a whole becuase it makes them the best counter to this move. Ordinarily, Infestation traps the target but guaranteed sleep and trapping is usually gonna be an instant kill button so it was changed to allow switching but continue dealing passive damage to the target. The move refers to Ophiocordyceps which is the name of the scary fungus that can control bugs in real life.
Again, everyone is encouraged to leave feedback! Tomorrow will include Venomoth and Dugtrio.

2023.06.09 15:20 Princess_of_Rats Looking for friends - UK, 34 MtF
sooooo with the potential upcoming death of reddit (or at least, a lot of the subs I lurk in), I figured I need to reach out and find some folks to chat & game with outside of here.
I play a variety of stuff, the games I play rn are, in no particular order;
Elden Ring, Destiny 2, Terraria, Minecraft, PSO2NGS, MHRise (no sunbreak yet)
and I play on PC usually, but I do have a switch as well w/ Pokemon SW&Scarlet.
I also have both FFXIV & WoW accounts, though they're inactive atm, but i'd be willing to get back into one or the other if people are interested (I'm not a hardcore raider or anything like that, mostly i just like running around killing monsters and looking cute while doing it).
so if anyone is interested in reaching out, please message me!

2023.06.09 15:18 serenity-as-ice LF: Bronzong redeems, events FT: Events, Paradox Shinies, Other Shinies, Apriballs
Expecting a surplus of weird bells? Looking to ditch them for cool stuff? Look no further!
I am looking for redeems for the upcoming WiFi-distributed event:
Yasuharu Shimizu's Bronzong. I wish to collect a huge bunch of them
so I can make Evthe420 cry when I release them en masse for my collection. 😇
What can
I offer in return? Here's a list, with rates included for your convenience:
What's for trade | Amount of Bronzong redeems requested | Notes |
10x SV Apriballs/rare balls | 1x redeem(s) | Rare balls are defined as Dream/Beast Balls; feel free to ask for any combination possible. |
Shiny Pokemon or shiny Paradox | 1x redeem(s) | |
Uncommon-Marked shiny or shiny Roaring Moon | 3x redeems | |
Marked shiny or marked Paradox | 4x redeems | |
Marco Hemantha Kaludura Silva's Dracovish | 3x redeems | |
Wonseok Jung's Grimmsnarl | 3x redeems | Proof is lost, but all were self-redeemed by me and I can verify their authenticity. |
Kohei Fujida's Sableye | 3x redeems | Proof is lost, but all were self-redeemed by me and I can verify their authenticity. |
Jirawiwat Thitasiri's Clefairy | 3x redeems | |
Eric Rios's East Sea Gastrodon | 3x redeems | |
Galar's Shiny Eternatus | 3x redeems | |
Victory Victini | 4x redeems | |
Ash's Pokemon set | 6x redeems | This consists of Dracovish, Dragonite, Gengar, Sirfetch'd and Lucario. 4 sets are available. |
Jiseok Lee's Garganacl | 2x redeems | |
Gavin Michael's Palafin | 2x redeems | |
Other Event Pokemon | Depends on event, please ask | |
For other events, please check my
event sheet. I will say in advance that I would probably not be accepting a redeem offer for anything from gen 7 and below, and I'm not looking to trade my Galar birds + HOME Zera (at least) for redeems; anything marked in red and labelled NFT is
definitely not for trade.
I also have a
shiny sheet you can peruse, and
a collection of (primarily Scarlet) Paradox shinies, with each and every Paradox caught only in Apriballs/rareballs.
As usual, redeems will need to be proofed—I would prefer video proofing, but A-button is acceptable (personally, I think video is easier, but whatever works best)! For further information on how I expect redeems to be proofed, please do check out
this guide.
Aside from redeems, I am also interested in standard event trades! Feel free to
approach me with an offer for either kind of trade. Thanks for looking!

2023.06.09 15:16 FakeElectionMaker Leansque lore ranging from Iberian history to the country's most recent election.
| 2022 Leansquean general election LEP had ran a right-wing populist campaign centered on fighting corruption and reasserting Leansque's independence in regards to Brussels. On economics, the party promised to raise interest rates and control gas prices to lower inflation. They mostly avoided the Ukraine issue. The Left Front overperformed expectations, winning eleven urban seats and replacing the Greens as Leansque's main left-wing third-party. Unlike the Green Party, the FI platform transcended climate change to promise the nationalization of major industries and promotion of workers' cooperatives as an alternative to the private sector. Exit polls Leansquean-language voters: LEP 40.89% PDC 20.57% PT 17.98% FI 7.73% LM 4.04% PV 3.00% Other 5.79% French-language voters: LEP 35.76% PDC 30.54% PT 18.60% LM 6.98% FI 5.00% PV 2.43% Other 1.54% Spanish-language voters: LEP 32.57% PT 29.11% PDC 25.45% PV 4.15% FI 3.78% LM 2.52% Other 2.42% Leansque supported the Angolan government with weapons, training and funding until 1974. That year, the newly elected Labour Party administration of Domingos Arcand imposed an arms embargo on the Roberto regime, weakening it even further after a series of defeats. On 9 April 1975, Holden Roberto fled Angola by plane, and the People's Republic was proclaimed by Agostinho Neto the following day. Equipment used by both sides during the First Angolan Civil War, including aircraft of the Angolan Air Force. AK-47, PK machine gun, RPG-7, 9K32 Strela-2, PPS submachine gun, SPG-9 recoilless rifle During the war, the MPLA was provided by the Soviet Union, Cuba and other Warsaw Pact states with modern equipment, while the Holden Roberto dictatorship relied on aid from the United States, Israel and (before 1974) Angola's former colonial power Leansque. As the brutality of Roberto became more well-known internationally, support for Angola decreased, allowing the MPLA to win the civil war. Royal dynasties of Leansque. Actually, the tau cross was the symbol of the Peter Dynasty, but the coat maker I used did not have it. Between 879 and 883, there was a Leansquean Civil War among four local noble families fighting for the throne. And between 1723 and 1725, there was a brief War of Leansquean Succession pairing Spain and France against Britain, the Netherlands and the HRE. Britain won the war, and they installed Frederick of Baden-Durlach on the throne as a compromise candidate. The Iberian peninsula (excluding Leansque) has been ruled by Spain since the late 15th century. The north of the southwestern part of the peninsula had been controlled by the Kingdom of Galicia, until it came under the control of the Catholic Monarchs. The Algarve, on the other hand, was only retaken from the Moors in 1490, when the Grenadan forces there were decisively defeated. Since the times of the Kingdom of Navarre, there has been a significant Basque population in southeastern Leansque, as shown in a previous post. By 1850, Brazil had stabilized, with European immigration beginning to take off. The Liberal Party oligarchy had replaced the failed colonial experiment with industrialization. Instead, they returned to commodity exports, mainly coffee. By the late 1850s, Brazil was the greatest producer and exporter of coffee in the world (replacing Liberia), and the commodity filled government coffers. During that era, the Conservative and Liberal parties were de facto coalitions of statewide political groups and clubs, with little centralization. The Conservative Party machine was increasingly incorporated into the governing Liberals as that party collapsed, and by 1865, Brazil was a virtual one-party state. In 1857, President Francisco Torres signed the Law of the Free Womb, freeing all slaves born after 1 January 1858. At the same time, a more functional immigration policy was implemented, causing an immigratory boom; by immigration numbers Brazil was the second largest country in the Americas (behind the United States). The immigrants were overwhelmingly German and Italian, with smaller numbers of Spanish and French ones. During that period, Brazil defeated three regional caudillos during wars – Juan Manuel de Rosas of Argentina in 1852, and Francisco Solano Lopez of Paraguay during the late 1860s (the Paraguayan War is the biggest international conflict in Latin American history). Even with this military victory, the status quo was increasingly questioned, due to electoral fraud, illiteracy and the political dominance of large landowners. The failure of the modernizing candidacy of war hero Louis de Lima e Silva angered the Brazilian Army, which took advantage of the political climate to carry out a military coup in 1870. Presidency of Louis de Lima e Silva (1870-1881) After seizing power, Lima e Silva announced Brazil would enter a new era, without slavery and focusing on the national interest instead of regional ones. The new president soon deposed all governors and replaced them with local military officers. He also revoked the 1832 Constitution, reuniting enormous power for himself. On 18 January 1871, Lima e Silva issued a decree freeing all slaves over 65. While it was meant to appease the growing abolitionist movement, the decree had little effect (given slaves' low life expectancy) and was widely mocked. That same year, the President became popular among the poor by controlling the prices of products such as bread, potatoes and meat. A cult of personality emerged around Lima e Silva, and popular battalions were created to defend him. On foreign policy, the new government sought close relations with both the United Kingdom and the United States; the foreign policy of the First Republic had leaned towards the latter since the 1840s. British investment in Brazil increased as large businesses invested in railways and banking. In spite of those reforms, Lima e Silva's centralization of power upset many in the Brazilian elite, and during early 1872, there was a rebellion which was quickly supressed. The revolt's failure emboldened the military dictatorship, which recieved a popularity boost. The President took advantage of this to increase the construction of railways in the poor and declining Northeast, and finally abolish slavery on 4 June 1874. Throughout the late 1870s, Brazil prospered economically, with the emergence of the first push for women's rights; trams and streetlights began to appear in major cities. But Lima e Silva's dictatorship relied more on his charismatic authority than on rational-legal authority. At the same time, as the dictator turned 80, a struggle for succession was opened. In 1877, the Generalissimo (a rank he had adopted in 1872) chose his right-hand man, General Deodoro da Fonseca, as his successor. Throughout 1879, Lima e Silva's health gradually weakened, and he increasingly turned over government duties to Deodoro and his advisors. On 7 May 1880, the President of Brazil died, and was succeeded by Marshal (a rank he had been promoted to right before his predecessor's death) Deodoro da Fonseca. submitted by FakeElectionMaker to AlternateHistory [link] [comments] |
2023.06.09 15:09 Nikeboy2306 6IV dittos
Hello everyone! I love pokemon Scarlet because it allowed me for the first time to created a full team of shinies that can be competitive and I think it also might be the game in which I can make my second dream a reality. I have always wanted dittos with 6 ivs of at least the 12 most useful natures. Yeah I know with all the quality of life changes breeding is not the best method any more but I still like it.
So I would like to ask how can I make this dream a reality? I think there have been raids that gives them but because of work I haven't been able to participate on those. I would appreciate any answer or help in this.

2023.06.09 14:44 autotldr American Politics Would Have Been Infinitely Better Without Pat Robertson
This is the best tl;dr I could make,
original reduced by 73%. (I'm a bot)
The best I can say about Pat Robertson, the Christopolitical television star and onetime presidential candidate who, on Thursday, went off to glory, is that he eventually faded into irrelevance and that he was easily surpassed for pure craziness and reckless damage by succeeding generations of clerical errors who took up politics as a career.
In December 2020, amid intensifying efforts by President Donald J. Trump and his supporters to overturn the election, Mr. Robertson told viewers of his television show, "The 700 Club," that a lawsuit filed by the Texas attorney general challenging results in four states was a "Miracle." "They're going to the Supreme Court to say, 'This election was rigged and you've got to overturn it,'" Mr. Robertson said, citing unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud.
Despite his own awfulness, or, alas, because of it, his son Pat was a transformative figure in American politics, and in American culture generally.
David John Marley, the author of Pat Robertson: An American Life, said that Mr. Robertson's statements were calculated to arouse his core following: Christians who felt ignored or mistreated by elites.
Pat Robertson rendered an awful lot to Caesar, as well as rendering an awful lot to his bank account.
Paranoia is the rock on which Pat Robertson built his church.

2023.06.09 14:00 dreftzg [Daily News] Big Seiko Day: A New 1968 Seiko 5 Inspired LE And Three Funky SKX Sports Watches, Ulysse Nardin’s Two New Divers In Azure And Vero Offers Their Entry For The Great Summer Watch
It's Friday and. Seiko is celebrating the 55th anniversary of the original Seiko 5.
What's new
1/ A Huge Seiko Day: Here’s A New 1968 Seiko 5 Inspired Limited Edition And Three Funky SKX Sports Style Watches Seiko is celebrating the 55th anniversary of the Seiko 5 Sports watch. It’s a legendary affordable and robust watch, the start of many collections and an instant trigger for memories of childhood. To celebrate the anniversary, Seiko is looking back into its childhood, back to the original Seiko 5 Sports, and uses the five key characteristic of the collection - an automatic movement; a day-date display in a single aperture at 3 o’clock; water-resistance; a recessed crown at 4 o’clock; and a robust steel case and bracelet or strap - to reissue this versatile timepiece.
The limited-edition watch Seiko is launching now is pretty much the exact same watch. A 39.5mm brushed tonneau-shaped steel case, 12.5mm thick, signature half-moon scalloped areas at noon and 6 o’clock and a crown tucked into the case. The respect of the original dial is carried over to the dial as well. The black dial has a silver peripheral track and the same applied bar indices treated with Lumibrite, just like the hands. Almost identical to the 1968 model, the original Seiko 5 logo is transferred in silver at noon, the day and date window uses a very similar frame to the original, the baton-style hour and minute hands are treated with Lumibrite and the lollipop central seconds hand is red.
Inside the watch is Seiko’s automatic 4R36 calibre, an in-house movement that has long proved its reliability and sturdiness and has a 41 hour power reserve.
The Seiko 5 Sports 55th Anniversary Limited Edition SRPK17 is numbered on the caseback out of 15,555 that will be produced and will be available in July 2023 at Seiko Boutiques and select partners worldwide. It’s priced at EUR 410.
But there are more tributes to be seen today. The ‘68 Seiko 5 Sports inspired a number of models over the years, but perhaps the most iconic line was the SKX, Seiko’s line-up of affordable bulletproof dive watches that now appear in the brand’s newly restructured collection in the SKX Sports Style segment. Although the three models pick up on the vibrant colour schemes of 1969 Seiko 5 Sports models, they are housed in the legendary SKX case with crown and guards at 4 o’clock and the unidirectional rotating bezel. The 100m water-resistant case measures 42.5mm, has a thickness of 13.4mm, features a see-through caseback to view Seiko’s automatic 4R36 calibre and is fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet.
Apart from the obvious colour variations on the dial, all three models have different bezels and flanges. The
SRPK09 has a silver dial combined with a black and silver unidirectional rotating bezel the
SRPK13 has a black dial and bezel with red and silver markings and a sloping flange in blue and green, while the loudest model is the orange
SRPK11 with its black bezel, two-tone orange and black flange and a thick black band traversing the dial from 3 to 9 o’clock.
The three new and colourful references are not limited in production and will be available at Seiko Boutiques and retail partners worldwide in September 2023. The retail price is EUR 350.
2/ Ulysse Nardin Celebrates World Ocean Day With Two New Divers - Net Azure And Diver X Skeleton Azure June 8th is World Ocean Day and to mark this occasion, Ulysse Nardin is introducing a new azure colorway to the Diver Net and Diver X Skeleton models. UN has for years maintained a very strong stance towards preserving the environment with the use of recycled and upcycled materials, and these two timepieces follow this concept in a non-limited addition to the brand’s catalog.
The Diver Net Azure is a 44mm wide and 14.81mm thick watch that’s made of 95% recycled stainless steel. The side case and case back ring are made of 60% Nylo and 40% Carbonium, just like the bezel. Since it’s a diver, the 300 meter water resistance is expected. The watch has a domed sapphire crystal and underneath it a black sand-blasted dial. On the dial is a huge Azure X that frames the power reserve at 12 and running seconds at 6. Inside the watch is the UN-118 Manufacture caliber, an automatic with 50 jewels, a Silicon balance spring, and a DiamonSil escapement wheel and anchor.
Then there’s the Diver X Skeleton Azure. Just as big, but chunkier at 15.7mm, the watch has a DLC coated titanium case and an x-shaped skeleton dial with polished and satin finishes. At 12 o’clock you can see the Carbonium barrel cover of the UN-372 Manufacture caliber and an oversized silicon balance wheel is situated at 6. Both watches come with azure-blue rubber straps.
The
Diver Net Azure will retail at €12,700, and the
Diver X Skeleton Azure for €26,800.
3/ Indian Microbrand Bangalore Watch Company Releases Apogee Manzinus & Earthshine To Celebrate India’s Unmanned Moon Missions Bangalore Watch Company has carved out a very interesting niche. The Bangalore-based indie brand is focusing on celebrating notable achievements from India. Recent examples include the MACH 1 which focused on the Indian Air Force MiG 21 and Cover Drive which highlighted India’s most popular sport, Cricket. Now, they are focusing on space with the Apogee collection that celebrates India’s space program and the focus is on two unmanned moon missions – Chandrayaan-1 and Chandrayaan-2.
The original Apogee watches launched in 2019 with titanium cases, but the new Manzinus and Earthshine models use stainless steel with a ceramic outer layer of Cerakote. Both cases are 40mm in diameter and 12mm thick, with the main difference between the two being color - Manzinus is white and Earthshine is grey. There are two knurled crowns at 2 and 4 o’clock – the former screws down and rotates an internal bezel, while the latter (push/pull) adjusts the time and date.
The two watches also have dials that differ in color - brown on Earthsine and black on Manzinus. While Earthshine is very true to the original Apogee watch, with a round date window at 6 o’clock, Manzinus has a 9mm disc in lieu of the date of the Muonionalusta meteorite. Inside the watch is a standard grade Sellita SW200-1 automatic. Both versions of the watch come with color matching leather straps.
The
Earthshine retails for USD 1,100, while the
Manzinus is USD 1,470. Not cheap for a microbrand you might not have heard of before, but also consider that you get a Cerasteel case and interesting design.
4/ American Indie Brand Vero Teams Up With Worn & Wound To Offer Up Their Entry For A Great Summer Watch ADPT, a subsidiary of Worn&Wound that makes straps, watches and accessories, is known for making colorful and playful all-purpose watches. Vero, a US-based microbrand, is known for making rugged tool watches. Mash them together and you get the crazy Vero Workhorse Chronograph - huge, bold and ready for the summer. This will be a polarizing watch, for sure.
The steel case measures 44.5mm wide and 13.5mm thick, but this size is only appropriate for a watch so boldly colored. It gets a bright aqua blue Cerakote treatment finished with flecks of white and bright yellow bezel guards that the brand calls bullhorns. The same blue can be found on the dial and the running-seconds sub-register at 9 o’clock, while the hour and minute hands are painted in brighter blue to contrast with and match the dial. Lastly, the internal rotating bezel shows an alternation of red and blue accents, and the seconds hand as well as the bumpers holding the Cerakoted shroud in place are painted in bright yellow
The standard controls are on the left case side while the crown at two o'clock rotates the internal timing bezel. Inside is the Miyota 62S1 quartz chronograph movement, which offers 1/4 second resolution and a 60-minute maximum measure for the chronograph. This is is basically a chronograph diver, something also possible thanks to the 120m depth rating. To complete the package, the crystal is sapphire, and the Workhorse comes on a white nylon strap with a Velcro closure.
The Vero x ADPT Workhorse is limited to just 100 units and at the time of writing there are still pieces available on the Worn&Wound store and you can get one if you like it for $499.
5/ Rudis Sylva Radically Simplifies The Harmonious Oscillator With The RS 23, It’s Still Very, Very Expensive A small independent watchmaker located in the Swiss village of Les Bois, Rudis Sylva recently unveiled its latest creation. What sets Rudis Sylva apart is its Harmonious Oscillator. The brand now introduces the RS23, featuring a simpler version of this unique oscillator, now without a rotating carriage. This simplification also brings down the price significantly. But it’s still an outrageously priced watch.
Truly unique in its kind, the Rudis Sylva Harmonious Oscillator comprises of two balance wheels. As a rule, watchmakers avoid any potential stress on a balance wheel for it to breathe freely. In this case, the two balances are toothed and thus mechanically interlinked. The first balance is driven by the escapement, and in turn, it drives the second balance, rotating it in the opposite direction, but with the same amplitude while each hairspring breathes in an opposite way. The underlying idea is that these constantly opposed balances ensure immediate mutual correction of the potential negative effects of gravity.
Unlike previous versions of the Rudis Sylva Harmonious Oscillator, the regulator is not placed in a rotating carriage. This has allowed building the movement architecture in a symmetrical way with twin barrels creating a counterpoint to the balance wheels. And instead of an off-centred hour and minute display, we have a central indication of the hours, minutes and seconds. A stop-second mechanism allows for precise settings. It beats at a frequency of 3Hz and it boasts a 70h power reserve.
The beauty of a movement is housed in a 44mm titanium or pink gold case that has no bezel and a domed sapphire crystal to show of the movement as much as possible. The watch comes on an alligator strap with a pin buckle.
The Rudis Sylva Harmonious Oscillator RS 23 is released in two limited editions of 8 pieces in titanium and 8 pieces in pink gold. The price is set at CHF 80,000 in titanium and CHF 90,000 in 18k pink gold. A crazy price, yes, but consider the fact that the more complicated Harmonious Oscillator RS16 is priced at CHF 250,000.
6/ Record Breaking Omega Turns Out To Be Frankenwatch Planted By Former Head of Omega Museum In Shocking Insider Scam For a couple of days now the internet has been talking about an explosive report from the Neue Zürcher Zeitung which claims that the tropical Omega Speedmaster CK2915 that fetched 3.3 million US dollars at auction, obliterating records for the most expensive Omega ever sold, is, in fact a Frankenwatch. A watch put together out of mostly original parts to create the perfect CK2915 so that it would fetch the highest price.
However, those who follow the brilliant Joze Pereztroika over at Perezcope,
have already known there is something seriously wrong with this watch since April. Now that the scheme to sell a fake watch has unraveled, the truth of what happened, or at least what we know so far, is so deeply shocking that it will likely bring huge changes to not only how watches are auctioned and authenticated, but also to manufacturer’s museums and their hunt for important vintage watches.
According to an Omega statement, “as it stands at present, there are three former employees (among them the former Head of OMEGA Museum and Brand Heritage), who have admitted to the run of events when confronted during an OMEGA internal investigation, which is active and ongoing”. Let that sink in. Three Omega insiders conspired to create a watch that the head of Omega Museum would end up bidding on at the record price.
Fratello writes that “although the three former Omega employees were not the sellers of the watch, they did play a role in modifying the Speedmaster to become a “perfect” reference CK2915. The Speedmaster CK2915 was assembled from various partially authentic parts. The three former Omega employees participated in this process, intending to create the most exciting CK2915, a watch that the Omega Museum would definitely need.”
This is an absolutely bonkers story. Please head on
over to the Fratello article to learn more about it and how it will affect not just the prices of Speedmasters, but also the entire industry. And definitely head on
over to the Perezcop to read how the fake Omega can be identified.

Watch Worthy - A look at an offbeat, less known watch you might actually like
The Cincinnati Concourse continues the brand’s commitment to local history The Cincinnati Watch Co. Concourse is perhaps the most faithful recreation of a clock in a wristwatch (an admittedly niche market). The 38mm stainless steel case is likely to be divisive: blocky without mitigation, it is the result of taking the concourse clock and getting as close to it as possible. The clock featured a cushion bezel with a bowed square around it. This was translated to the wrist perfectly, with alternating brushed and polished surfaces distinguishing the different facets of the design.

2023.06.09 13:29 BlueFishcake Sexy Sect Babes: Chapter Sixty Six
Shi Huo slumped down into the tavern seat with a put-upon sigh, uncaring of the racket made by his armor as he loosened the shoulder straps, allowing them to clatter to the floor.
None of the other patrons of his favorite tavern even glanced up as he casually batted the loose bits of armor under his table with his feet. Nor did they look up as his compatriots joined him, repeating his actions.
Their table was far from the only one with shoulder pauldrons gathered beneath it. It was a favored hangout for the Sect Guard of the Brazen Claw.
“So, we’re to be rebels now?”
His compatriots grunted quietly as the tavern owner’s daughter placed mugs before each of them without a need for prompting on any of their parts.
“Not just rebels,” Xing Zhong muttered quietly. “Part of the Grand Army of Ten Huo besides.” He spat to the side. “If I’d wanted to spend my days gallivanting across the country fighting bandits and Instinctive tribesmen, I’d have joined the Imperial army.”
Shi shrugged as he took a sip of his drink. “Well, it seems we’ve not much choice in the matter now.”
“Aye,” Xing nodded. “That we don’t.”
Such was the life of a mortal in Ten Huo. Cultivators made decisions and it was the mortals who had to live with the consequences.
It wasn’t like any of them would dream of quitting their jobs, throwing off their colors and disappearing into one of the city’s many back alleys.
And gain what work? Shi thought.
The merchant caravans are basically a death sentence. The nearest farms are abandoned. Fishing boats have all but stopped going out since they started being attacked by sharks. Empress above, even the gangs have gone quiet as of late. No, as unpalatable as this latest change was to him, he knew that the alternatives were worse.
The four men and one woman sat in silence, each sipping their drinks as they mulled over their worries.
“Do you think we’ll get gonnes?” Zhuan finally asked, glancing up from her drink. “Johansen’s guards have gonnes.”
“They call themselves the militia,” Xing corrected, though he did not move to correct her otherwise.
“Gonnes…” Tian breathed. “That’d be a thought.”
The weapons had achieved a near mythical status amongst the mortals of the city during the siege. Mystic tools that might allow a dozen mortal men and women to stand toe to toe with a cultivator.
Sure, the Brazen Claw had some of their own; fire-lances they were called, but they were reserved for the sect’s elite mortal troops.
Not the street-sloggers like him and his friends.
“Forget that!” the thus far silent Zou snapped at them. “You all realize that we’re rebels now? Dissidents!?”
Tian glanced at his friends, before they all mutually shrugged.
“Wouldn’t be the first time.” Tian leaned back in his seat. “I mean, not for us, obviously. But my grandad was around back when the whole Northern Independence movement was going strong.”
Indeed, he was pretty sure the old man would have been hooting and hollering with glee at the thought of Ten Huo trying for independence once more if the cold hadn’t taken him a few winters past. Still, lots of the city’s older crowd would no doubt be waxing poetic about the new magistrate taking the city back to its ‘golden years’.
Personally, Tian was dubious this wouldn’t all turn out the same way it had for them. With the rebel leaders all rounded up and their closest family lines forced to face decimation.
Well, with the exception of the former leader herself, Tian thought.
I mean, you can hardly decimate the Imperial family for one of its members rebelling against the Imperial Family. Though wasn’t the former magistrate now part of Johansen’s inner circle? She was an Imperial. So was she a hostage or a collaborator? And now that he thought about it,hadn’t he heard some chatter about her losing her powers?
He vaguely recalled some chatter about that back when they were running the Imperial army out of the city. Or rather, back when the sect’s heavy hitters had been doing that. He and his squad had spent the entire ‘conflict’ guarding a checkpoint near the wall. The closest they’d come to seeing any of the fighting had been when they’d heard gonne-fire going off near the Imperial Palace for a few evenings.
The whys hadn’t really mattered. That sort of thing was for cultivators. Mortals like him just did as they were told.
Which, while sometimes annoying, also meant that they usually avoided the fallout that came with those decisions.
His grandad had certainly fought for the rebels during the Northern War of Independence, yet he’d not been punished for it. He’d just missed out on some of his pay and been re-inducted into the guard when the Imperial Army rolled back into the city.
Oh, certainly there’d been a few hangings of mortal officers, but that was to be expected. Appearances needed to be kept.
“Grandad was fine.” He said philosophically. “Just do as you're told. Don’t talk too much and hope it works out for the best. And if it doesn’t… just shut up and get ready to surrender when things start looking dicey.”
Zou looked at him in disgust, but the rest of the table nodded along in agreement.
“…So gonnes?” Zhuan ventured again. “And silver. Specifically more silver. Because I’ve heard the ‘militia’ gets paid four silver a week?”
“Four silver a week!? Someone’s having you on.”
“No, I’m serious. And one more besides if they see any actual fighting.”
“Horseshit. I bet you-”
This time it was Tian who interrupted, clearing his throat as he posed the other question that had been bothering him since he sat down. “Before all that, do you think the sect will actually hand us over?”
Sure, the sects didn’t actually care for him and his, but in his experience cultivators never backed down on anything without a fight.
Zou scoffed. The man had finally realized that no one else shared his patriotic outrage at Ten Huo’s rebellion and was mulishly nursing his drink.
“You seen any Silver Paw Sect members wandering around recently? If they didn’t put up a fight over Johansen turning the whole city against the Empire, I don’t think they’re going to put up much of a fight over him taking a bunch of mortals from them.”
None of them had much of an argument against that.
------------------\
As soon as they were back at the compound, Jack tossed his new ornate scepter over to Ren, who only barely caught it. Which said a lot about how surprised she was by what was essentially a key to the city’s more mystic defenses.
Of course, normally, in the hands of anyone who the weapon was not keyed for it was just a big paperweight.
“Wha-” the merchant started to say before trailing off as her eyes became momentarily glassy. “This… this is keyed to
me!?” “Surprise,” Jack singsonged, as the seals of his armor cracked open with a hiss before unfolding like a flower, allowing him to step out.
“Surprise?” Ren murmured quietly to herself, before rounding on him with a… complicated expression. “This is a rod of control. Whoever holds it may as well hold the city.” She eyed him. “Why is it keyed to me!?”
Jack scratched the back of his neck.
Yeah, the artificer in charge of carving the rod hadn’t been happy about Jack’s request for that small alteration. At first he’d refused politely. Jack had politely requested he reconsider. The artificer had refused again. Impolitely, that time.
At which point Jack had made the request again.
Impolitely.
The other man had then acceded to the miner’s wishes.
Benefits of destroying the equivalent of two sects simultaneously, I suppose, Jack thought.
Fortunately, aside from Ren, no one else seemed too bothered by this new development. Elwin was already following the members of the newly established ‘Steel Paw’ down into Jack’s workshop.
Which was probably for the best. While he had some assurances against poor behavior on the part of his newly acquired band of cultivators, that didn’t mean he trusted them.
And An…
“I don’t know about that,” An opined as she rather casually dug her little finger into her ear canal, wiggling it back and forth in a rather unladylike manner. “The old Magistrate had one and she still lost the city.”
Ren whirled on her fellow cultivator. “*After *she lost her ability to cultivate. Which would have rendered the city’s internal defenses useless to her.”
Defenses that were, to hear them described to him, pretty potent. The protections surrounding the walls were among the
least of the tools available to an Imperial magistrate. Once an attacking force penetrated deeper into the city, it was possible to summon phantasmal spirit beasts, activate anti-cultivator traps, and bring down precision lighting strikes.
Potent stuff, Jack thought.
Stuff that might have come in handy in the minutes immediately preceding the Red Death’s arrival.
Unfortunately, not only were most of those defenses located around the Imperial Palace, the one person capable of activating and controlling those defenses had been busy fighting said dragon herself rather than directing the city’s ancient weapon systems.
Ren continued, gripping the rod in her hand so tightly Jack was actually a little worried she’d snap it. “If Lady Huang had still been capable of utilizing her control rod, the success of Tian’s coup would not have been nearly so assured. Even after her erstwhile bodyguards abandoned her.”
“Sounds useful,” An hummed, before her gaze slid over to him. “So why are you handing it off to the dog?”
Sure, the little black haired tiger-kin was trying to sound nonchalant, but Jack could detect just a hint of jealousy and avarice in her gaze now.
He sighed. “Because Ren’s spent the last few weeks trying to run this city. Sure, she’s got Huang helping now, but it’s still ultimately been her work. She’s the one I trust most with anything… city related.”
Even as Ren puffed up, An seemed to deflate slightly, as if in recrimination.
She’d tried to help with the more bureaucratic side of Ten Huo’s administration. For a little while, before it became abundantly clear that her total lack of familiarity with administration in general - and the political makeup of the city specifically - meant she was causing more harm than good.
Enough so that I’m reasonably certain she had someone else helping her set-up Jiangshi in my absence, *Jack thought. *Because if not… well I shudder to think of how much of a mess the place must be. He said none of that though.
“It’s not a slight,” he added quickly, attempting to cheer the cat up. “You’ve been just as busy working with Gao to set up and integrate the Jiangshi militia in the city. And I’m sure you’ll be even more busy trying to integrate the sect forces into the new Ten Huo army.”
An seemed to perk up at that, tail fluttering about behind her back even as she stifled a smile.
“Still Master, I have to ask, why bother with this… delegation in the first place?” Ren asked quietly. “It’s a… not insubstantial break in tradition. And while I am one hundred percent loyal, others might see it as a weakness in the security of your rule should they learn that it is I, not you, who holds the reins of the city’s defenses.”
“Well, ideally no one will ever know,” Jack responded easily. “And as to why, well, you said it yourself about a minute ago. Things went to shit for Huang because she was both the city’s most powerful defender *and *the person in charge of directing those defenses.”
Jack tapped one of the thrusters on his suit with the back of an oversize knuckle. “I don’t intend to hamstring myself like that.”
It was An who finally got it. “You intend to repeat what you did in Jiangshi across the province. Build more edifices. Summon more spirit beasts. Put the mortals to work.”
Jack nodded, glad to see that one of his followers got it. “Exactly. I can’t afford to spend all my time in Ten Huo. That fortress I’ll be building on our Northern border is just one example of the kind of projects that might take me out of the city for days at a time.”
Ren nodded. “And you do not wish to leave the city defenseless in your absence.”
“Well, I wouldn’t say the city was defenseless even without the defense matrix, but essentially yes,” he acknowledged.
It took him a while to realize both women were staring at him.
“So beneficent,” Ren finally murmured as she fell seamlessly and gracefully to one knee. “To focus on the wellbeing of the province as a whole, even over your own personal power.”
The blonde dog-kin stared up at him, eyes burning with an earnestness that made him mildly uncomfortable – which was ironic given that once upon a time he’d dreamed of being worshipped as some manner of living god.
“This Delan Ren shall strive to prove to you that your act of faith and selflessness was no mistake. So she swears.”
Jack could only nod mutely as he realized that An had likewise taken a knee.
“That’s… good.” He spent a moment searching for the proper response to this unexpected show of enthusiasm. “See that you do.”
A little gruff, but it sounded appropriate.
“Of course,” Ren nodded eagerly, as if she’d just had some manner of holy mission bestowed upon her.
It almost made Jack feel bad that the two main reasons he’d foisted the control rod off onto her were because he was almost entirely sure the thing wouldn’t work for him – and he didn’t want to be cooped up in the city all the time like some oversized guard dog.
*Well, I guess it’s good that Ren’s happy about it, *he thought.
Still, this seemed like the most ideal moment to slip away.
“Right,” he said, shifting slowly towards the door. “With that done, I’m sure we all have a lot of work to do. An has army stuff. Ren has city stuff. I need to check in with Elwin.”
Both women nodded eagerly, showing not a hint of aggravation at the veritable shitload of problems he’d just offloaded onto them.
“Of course, Great One.” Ren smiled happily.
An just nodded slowly. “I’ve got it handled.”
He certainly hoped so.
…Because he’d be totally lost if either of them didn’t.
Not least of all because I’m pretty sure Gao would kill me if I attempted to foist off any more work onto him. —----------------------
As Jack strode through the halls towards Lin’s quarters, he watched through his tablet as Elwin fussed over the newly formed ‘Steel Paw’.
A name about as subtle as the moniker itself where the origins of the unit were concerned given that the was made up of survivors of the now defunct Silver Paw Sect. Cultivators that had been outside the compound when he’d leveled it.
Now, he’d been aware that the attack would leave survivors. Counted on it even. He’d expect them to see which way the wind was blowing and leave town as quickly as possible.
…Or be gunned down assaulting his compound in some futile attempt at getting revenge.
He’d been leaning towards the former outcome though. That was usually what happened with a rival gang once you’d broken up the core membership.
They hadn’t done that though. Or at least, some of them hadn’t.
Instead, they’d shown up on his doorstep begging for mercy.
Mercy, which he’d granted – after a fashion.
His eyes tracked to the nearest member of the group as she took off her tiger-mask helmet, unveiling a fuzzy pair of tiger ears – and a mark on her neck.
The old explosive chip special, he thought, a complicated expression flashing across his features.
As he watched, Elwin all-but grabbed the muscular tiger-kin onscreen. The slight elf was utterly ignorant, or perhaps uncaring, of the way the bigger woman practically snarled at her, instead focusing on the runes engraved on the woman’s pauldron.
One of which was visibly flickering, the low blue light weak and inconsistent.
“Wu!” Elwin shouted. “The buffer on this enchantment is failing. I could hear this one’s armor clicking as she walked in here.”
“This one has a name.” The tiger-kin muttered sullenly.
Elwin ignored her, turning instead toward the sheepish looking dog-kin woman that appeared on-screen.
She wore robes, much like most cultivators Jack had met, but they were of a distinctly different bent. More European than Asian. That was not to say it didn’t have Asian elements, it certainly did, but it was clear that Elwin had a part in designing the uniforms of her apprentices.
“This one apologizes mistress,” the dog-kin bowed. “This one thought the matrix would hold.”
Elwin snorted in a manner that somehow managed to be graceful while still conveying the utmost disdain. “No, you *hoped *it would hold.”
A single delicate finger pointed to the offending piece of armor. “Magister’s do not hope. They know. Why is that Wu?”
The young woman shuffled uncomfortably. “Because unreliable spellwork is a blade without a handle.”
“Precisely,” Elwin turned to where Jack assumed her other apprentices were standing. “Now, because Wu thought she could get away with subpar work, I can only assume others amongst you feel similarly.”
She received no reply in response, from the still undressing members of the Iron Paw or her apprentices. “As a result, you shall all be redoing these runes in their totality. And if I find even one weight reduction enchantment or rust resistance rune that is not up to my standards, you shall be wiping them and doing them again.”
“May we use the laser cutting artifact for the physical work, mistress?” A voice timidly asked from off-screen.
“No,” Elwin scoffed. “I’ve noticed more than a few of you growing dependent on our lord’s artifacts for your labors. I would be remiss in my duties as your teacher if I failed to correct that failing, lest you prove utterly useless beyond the walls of this-”
Jack stopped just in time to avoid bumping into the doors of Lin’s room. Putting the tablet away, content that Elwin had the former Silver Paw members in hand, as well as her apprentices, he glanced up at the two guards stationed outside to make sure neither had noticed his faux pax.
They hadn’t. Or at least, they were doing an admirable job or pretending they hadn’t by standing at attention and staring at pretty much anything that wasn’t him.
Hell, if he didn’t know better, he’d say they looked uncomfortable.
Which he supposed made sense. He could well see a cultivator acting… poorly towards anyone that had seen them embarrass themselves.
“Is Lin in?” he asked, content to let the moment pass by.
“She is.” The woman on the left answered quickly, her eyes remaining fixed on the far wall. “Along with Lady Huang.”
God, they still sounded nervous, he thought.
How bad must cultivators be? “Right, well I’ll just be heading in then,” he said.
Both guard’s eyes opened wide, and one visibly twitched, but neither said anything.
So Jack pulled open the doors.
Just in time for a rather long, rather feminine moan of pleasure to echo out from inside. A moment of stunned silence followed.
He started to close the doors.
“Wait, Jack this is-” Lin’s surprised voice started to call out from within the room, accompanied by Huang’s gasps.
He finished closing the doors.
He ignored the blushing of both guards.
He walked away.
And only once he was down the hall did he whisper quietly to himself.
“Christ, I knew they were close, but I didn’t think they’d grown that close.”
He certainly hadn’t thought they were both lesbians. Sure, they’d been hanging out a lot, but he’d thought they were both just close friends. That was the logical assumption. Neither had given him any hints beyond that friendship that they liked women.
That was… fine though.
Good for them. Two members of his nominal harem liked each other. That was good.
He wasn’t jealous. Not at all. He already had two women he was with. His ego had not been stung at all.
“Speaking of which,” he murmured. “…I need to find An. Or Ren. Or both.”
Yes, both sounded good.

2023.06.09 12:37 Purpulear Are Zorua still Obtainable? Possible to shiny hunt?
So I was never really able to play this game much since I always had a crappy phone until recently. So I'm still pretty new to the game.
I've looked around online and can't really find anything too conclusive (especially with scarlet and vioplet taking up search results) but I do know that Zoruas disguise as a active buddy pokemon. Do they still spawn? And is it possible to shiny hunt one? Or would they be too uncommon, and I'll need to wait to the Halloween season. I would really like to have one as a buddy.

2023.06.09 12:21 Acosedum Legacy moves for pvp
Hey, iam new player and I love pvp but a lot of pokemons require legacy moves is it viable to use pokemon without that move? And is there any other way to obtain legacy moves without using elite tm? It's seems like they handicapped pvp for new players because it's impossible to get 20 elite TMS to get all the moves required. Some pokemons needs 2 elite tms it's just insane... For example newly buffed sandslash needs shadow claw how on earth can i get that move? Also is swampert any good without hydro Cannon?

2023.06.09 11:55 CraftyIndustry2984 Resident Evil 6 Story Explained
Since I unironically love RE6 and actually understand it story, I figured I'd explain it for those who even after ten years may still be confused by some things.
So basically to start off with, most of the story is clarified through the files you get from emblems as well as context clues from the campaigns. Before I do start, I want to clear up one of the biggest misconceptions some mignt have on the story: Leon shoots a zombified Adam Benford, who is not Ashley Graham's father they are different presidents, he was just friends with both.
Now that that is cleared up lets begin. The story starts actually back in Racoon City, when Derek C. Simmons, orders or at least proposes the idea of a nuclear strike on the City to contain the viral outbreaks, as well as to bury US involvement with Umbrella Corporation, but mostly to bury the extent of US military involvement with Birkin. Fast forward a few years, and thanks to the brilliant mind of Dr. Carla Radames, the C-Virus is created through the T-Veronica and G-Virus samples aquired from Operation Javier and Sherry Birkin respectively. The purpose of the C-Virus was for bio-warfare, as the Family believed the US, and eventually the world, would discontinue conventional warfare and swap to BOWs. They wanted the US to have an advantage. Simmons, infatuated with Ada Wong who he actuallt knew prior to Racoon City but hadnt heard from her since, wants to clone her using the C-Virus. The project takes about six years to succeed, in 2009 using the virus's own creator as a subject for the project. Simmons essentially turns Carla into Ada, and makes her his field agent as well as places her in charge of the Family's East Asian division. Carla at some point regains her past self and instantly hates Simmons for it. Believing him to have ruined her life, she sets out on a personal revenge quest to kill Simmons and destroy everything he and his Family built.
Now, to explain the Family, they are essentially the Illuminati or Builderberg Group but Resident Evil. Been around for a while and are now centered as an American Exceptionalist organization.
Carla conducts a crap ton of C-Virus research to further her goals. At some point, Simmons becomes aware of the existence of Jake Muller, son of Albert Wesker and thus likely has antibodies for the C-Virus, meaning vaccine. As the C-Virus will eventually be used by US military forces, or at least the Family, this cant be allowed. Dont ask me how Wesker found the time to get freaky with a chick. Simmons tasks Carla with going to Edonia where he is to basically kidnap him and well, keep the BSAA away from him. Sherry is to be sent as well as the public face of this.
Edonia, a fictional East European country, is currently in a civil war, with the rebel army, Edonian Liberation Army, being the army of mercenaries loyal to the military junta. Jake is currently employed as a mercenary in the ELA. Carla arrives in Edonia as does Sherry but she isnt aware of Carla. Sherry is there to get Jake for his antibodies so they can cure the C-Virus as it was already used in a bio-terrorist attack at a college campus months prior. A different one from the Tall Oaks attack, which is still six months away. Carla also brings the C-Virus en masse to Edonia's captial city, to supply the ELA with the virus. The rebels dont know its a virus, they are just told its a combat stimulant. Which in a way isnt false advertising. The rebels use their booster shots and turn not into zombies but instead J'avo, mutant supersoldiers who mutate in response to physical trauma. This triggers a bio-terrorist attack and BSAA involvement. Carla at some point assassinates ELA leadership and places the remaining ELA J'avo under her command. It is unknown what happened to surviving ELA J'avo following Jake and Sherry's capture by Carla. It is also unknown if the ELA leadership was actually aware their soldiers would become J'avo or not, as it seems that the ELA J'avo initially still were loyal to the ELA command. Their attempted killing of Jake, from what I've been told was because J'avo think of a goal and try to complete that goal, which if true means the mercs on Jake's platoon hated him. I personally believe Carla simply coded the strain the mercs took to be inherently hostile to Jake.
We all know what happened to Chris and Piers so I dont feel the need to explain that. Its like the least confusing part of the game.
From December 2012 to June 2013 Carla secretly builds in Poisawan, Lanshiang, China (Resident Evil Hong Kong), a J'avo militia in a medical center she has control of thanks to the Family. She also conducts experiments on Jake and Sherry to research the antiobodies from Jake and Sherry's strain of G to enhance C. At some point, Carla names her East Asian group Neo-Umbrella for PR purposes. By this point, everyone knows BOWs were invented by Umbrella Corporation, and they may be defunct, but their legacy lives on. The pupose of the Poisawan Militia is to essentially serve as an eventual distraction in wide scale attacks throughout Lanshiang in an appearent uprising against the Chinese government. The real goal are aircraft carriers but first, let met explain the train wreck that is Leon's story.
So...remember Benford? Yeah the dude wanted to basically tell everyone Racoon City was partly the fault of the US government since they wanted to recruit William Birkin and aquire the G-Virus, then Umbrella found out and shit escalated from there. Simmons, knowing this detail would be bad for the US, decides to kill Benford. Simmons, being the fucking genius he is, decides that in order prevent the US government from being implicated in not just a bio-terrorist attack but THE bio-terrorist attack...is to have the US government be implicated in a bio-terrorist attack. So he recreates Racoon City in Tall Oaks where Benford plans to tell everyone something that truthfully doesnt sound even remotely surprising. Simmons does this through the Lepotica J'avo mutation. A good three to four of them. The Lepotica is a result of failed Ada Wong cloning, in case you were wondering. We all know how Tall Oaks goes, dont feel like explaining that in full, since Leon's campaign is a "just roll with it" experience. Also, Neo-Umbrella claims responsibility for Tall Oaks but they WERE NOT INVOLVED. They just wanted to spread panic by falsely claiming responsibility. This also alerts Simmons to Carla's betrayal. I dont really know if the Lepotica on the plane was Simmons or Carla's doing, but Simmons should have been the only one to know about it so I'd sag Simmons. We all know the rest of Leon's campaign its mostly explained by Ada's so the only real explanation was the whole Tall Oaks shit.
Around the time Tall Oaks is attacked, Carla unleashes the Militia from Poisawan into the surrounding area to well, kill people. And distract the Chinese military and BSAA from the two aircraft carriers being casually hijacked by Neo-Umbrella's personal elite J'avo who have a modified strain of C that gives them bullshit mutations and the ability to do that at will. Being a better equipped fighting force and being, you know, mutant super soldiers, the Chinese Sailors dont stand a chance nor get the chance to tell everyone elite mutant mercenaries are boarding. I'm pretty sure everyone was confused by these aircraft carriers, I sure as shit was. I thought Neo-Umbrella somehow had them and to bury witnesses released the Rasklapanje on the non-J'avo crew. Nah, they just stole them.
The purpose of even these carriers was distraction. HAOS. Again Chris and Piers. Easiest campaign to definitely follow.
I, dont think I really need to explain much else. I mean, Carla gets killed by Ada who she stupidly involved personally. The sub Ada boards is Neo-Umbrella's after defecting from the Family, so not much to explain there. Why Carla had the J'avo shot at instead of Ada, well thats easy. Carla wanted to frame Ada for the attacks.
I hope the story makes a bit more sense now and I hope I explained it well.
