So here we are – Riders on exile. Well, better this fate than becoming Swiss cheese. If they sent such a big offensive there, they were really determined. But they really think they’ll find some documents there? They can try, but Yan claimed that there’s nothing of value left.
I was the one leading the group – with Svarog detector in one hand, with my eight-shot revolver in the other and with cig in my mouth. Our gear was unchanged – I still had my SV-338 on my back and had my armor, which I found out it was modified version of Clear Sky’s CS-3b.
Sorrow wasn’t far from me. Even though we had most likely the most advanced detectors out there, he still was throwing bolts here and there. Probably because of boredom. This doesn’t mean that I stopped using them myself – I had a pack of bolts on my belt.
I should’ve mention it – we were heading to the Garbage through northeastern path. Soldiers came from southwest and they are most likely looking for internal dangers rather than those from the outside, so we were relatively safe.
After failing a couple of times to spark a conversation in our group, I was just focused on finding a safe route to the Zone’s first crossroads. And – I’ll be honest – I wanted to find an artifact. Not only to gain some cash, but maybe to find something that would make this journey more interesting. The luck wasn’t on my side that day, sadly.
We came to the Garbage. We all knew by instinct to prepare ourselves for some resistance. Resistance as powerful as Clear Sky these days, but resistance nonetheless. To our surprise, however, we found the nearest ”outpost” empty.
Confused a little, we started exploring the surrounding area. No presence of bandits could be located. I even used my scope to see the insides of a hangar, but on the surface, it was safe. Even the sentry dressed in Sunrise suit, standing before the brick wall didn’t open fire at us. Quite the opposite, actually – he waved when he saw us and said to come closer. And we did just that.
”Riders!” – he shouted with joy. - ”Holy fuck!”
”Hey, em…” – I tried to remind myself of his name. - ”Oh! You’re Yara Bubble. One who was a ”whale” on our party.”
”Yeah, I overestimated my capabilities. I shouldn’t drink that much.”
”At least you’re alive and well now.”
”Yep.”
”Still, we’re curious about the current situation in this hangar.”
”Nothing to write a book about, I’m afraid. Duty and few hired loners executed an assault on the complex, clearing the place from this scum. For now, bandits haven’t inducted any sort of retaliation.”
”Not surprised. They’re…”
Suddenly, Zrak started… What’s the name for crow’s sound? Let me check… so I found the name ”caw”. So he was… cawing? Sounds stupid. But that’s the most common answer. Anyway, he started making loud sounds.
For others, it’d seem like he’s doing this for no reason. But we’ve found out this meant that an emission is approaching. And that meant we should be careful, Zrak especially. Codex said that crows die way faster in blowouts than humans.
”We should get inside.” – Sorrow stated. - ”Emission’s gonna hit us in a moment.”
”Wow…” – Yara was impressed. - ”Your bird can sense such things?”
”Yeah – one of the reasons why I love him. Come on.”
We made our way into the hangar. It was occupied mostly by loners, but few Dutyers were hanging around here as well. To spy on us or escape from the superiors for at least a moment – it’s hard to blame them.
Of course, even if emission just started, we won’t just sit like cowards, doing nothing. We popped a vodka bottle and I shared smokes with Sorrow and Craver. We were exchanging jokes of various quality. I felt good, but couldn’t get rid off the feeling that this was… artificial.
After blowout stopped, we bid our farewells with Yara and continued going to Army Warehouses. Atmosphere here was pretty much calm. Bandits may not be present at that time, but mutants were still roaming the lands. They weren’t attacking us, though.
We weren’t going to Duty outpost – we still weren’t sure if we could safely enter Rostok, even though some ex-soldiers claimed that they miss our visits and were surprised that we stopped going there. Hell, they promised us to talk to their highest superiors for an official invitation. We got one, but we continued to be hesitant about this.
Instead, we used Garbage-Wild Territory route. It’s rarely used, so even better for us. Unfortunately, that meant going through the field rich in fire anomalies. Nothing that four Svarogs and lots of bolts can’t solve.
Going further into this location (that many claim to be almost as bad as Red Forest, which I can’t understand), we found something interesting. Okay, maybe not that interesting, but we found bodies of mercs and loners that had to be fresh, judging by the state of corpses. We decided that we’d leave them alone.
Soon after, we got near the wreckage of helicopter that had fire anomalies around it. One of it was still active, but that’s because the body of flesh was in it. Strange that it didn’t turn into ash. But we went to nearby big door that was hiding a part of Rostok complex.
I’ll be completely honest here – I don’t know what should I write about this location. Really, it’s so uninteresting that I’d have to lie to say something worthwhile. And I don’t want to do that. So for your entertainment, I’ll just skip to Warehouses.
We ended up near bloodsucker village – the location that’s our destination. In south of it, there’s a small farmstead that poses as Freedom outpost. That’s official information, but it’s actually Irina’s place where she lives and that’s where Quarrel visits her.
Yep, living next to abandoned village that bloodsuckers really like for some reason plus it’s dotted with various fire anomalies. How she can live here without problems is unknown to me, but hey – strange shelter is better than no shelter… I think.
We were careful about stepping here. With weapons in our hands, we were slowly approaching the farmstead. We didn’t saw any signs of Freedom presence, which made me (but maybe others too) slightly disturbed. This didn’t last long, though.
”Guys, it’s safe, I assure you.” – said the woman in Freedom helmetless SEVA, coming out of cover.
”Hi, Iri.” – Quarrel waved at her.
”Hi, Cas. Oh, and hello, Riders.”
We just nodded at her, without uttering a word.
”What brings all of you here?” – she asked, a bit surprised.
”Army raided our place.” – our tough guy replied. - ”Big offensive – with choppers and such.”
”Huh… good that you didn’t stay to fight them.”
”Of course. It’d be stupid, so I commanded that we should get somewhere else, at least temporarily, so we could come up with the plan of recapturing the place.”
I rolled my eyes when I heard this. Quarrel – prideful as usual, even if it involves lying. He really changed through these months. But I wanted to get straight to the point.
”Long story short – army raided our place and Quarrel suggested that we should come to you.” – I said after a moment of silence. - ”Are you willing to share some space with us?”
”Of course.” – Flora replied. - ”Perhaps not the house, but this barn should be enough. It has relatively whole roof, so you won’t get wet. Are you fine with that?”
”Yeah. But there shouldn’t be any problems with… neighbors, right?”
”Last bloodsucker was killed by me more than a month ago. They didn’t reappear since then. Other mutants don’t come here as well. It’s really a safe location.”
”I’ll stash the items there.” – Quarrel joined the talk. - ”After that… maybe you want to go somewhere?”
”With you? Always.”
After this exchange of words, we got to the barn. Quarrel just left the stuff he was carrying through this journey in the corner and he was heading out with his girl, saying ”See you later, guys” before leaving us.
Craver quickly organized his part of this barn and instead of helping any of us, he proceeded to eat some sausage. I wanted to say something, but I knew that this won’t help much, if at all. Suddenly, he got a message that made him visibly happy.
”Lads, I have to go.” – he said loudly.
”Have fun…” – I replied to him with indifference.
Ex-ex-merc (I know this sound stupid, but still wanted to write this) grabbed his gear and quickly left the hideout, leaving me and Sorrow alone in our new home. I should feel bad about this, but I started to feel… lighter. Like a tension got swiped away.
We finished organizing out parts at the exact same moment. I briefly checked if Sorrow is alright, but he said he’s fine and then he started another vodka bottle. I should leave him to his thoughts and let him rest for a while.
I looked through our items and grabbed new pack of cigarettes. I lit one and lied on my sleeping bag. After thinking about what to do, I pulled out my PDA and started watching some videos on the internet. I don’t know why, but in Army Warehouses, there were much better speeds.
So I was detached from that world for some time, not thinking about my or others’ problems. This felt… good. Very good, even. But then I turned towards Sorrow, who had his head buried in his legs. I got to him, sat nearby and pat his shoulder. He immediately raised his gaze to me.
”Plagued?” – he was a bit confused.
”What’s the problem, Sorrow?” – I asked with genuine intent.
”Can I be completely honest with you?”
”Sorrow… you’re my brother. I’d never replace you. I’ll never sell you out. I’d rather pop a bullet in my head than to give you up. So yes, you can be perfectly honest with me.”
”Plagued… I don’t think coming here was a good idea.”
”Why?” – I asked, even though I suspected what the answer might be.
”Quarrel said it’s good that he’ll have us and Irina close. It’s not even that I’m envious. It will create new problems, new arguments. More likely for our group to fall apart. Craver going to mercs and his girl isn’t helpful either. I don’t want to stop them, but with each day, we grow more distant from one another. I wish it was like in our old days.”
”I want that too, Sorrow. But sadly, there isn’t much we can do about this. I tried pretty much anything I could. And us leaving them won’t help either. It’ll just cement the fall of our team.”
”Yeah…”
”One can hope that it’ll eventually get better. At least we have each other.”
”There’s that… Eh…”
”You feel better?”
”A bit. Thanks. But…”
”What?”
”I’m curious about how the soldiers do in our former base.”
”Huh… I won’t stop you.”
”I’ll try to return as fast as I can.”
”Be careful, brother.”
”I will. Goodbye.”
And I became last man standing. Eh… Even though I let him to do the thing he wants to do, we both know it’s an excuse to be alone with his thoughts. He still cares, otherwise he’d pull out Kurt Cobain long ago.
Few minutes later, I got up and went outside. I couldn’t find Sorrow anywhere. I lit up another smoke and started to look around my new place. Mutants were really far from my current location, but I saw approaching Freedomer. I was cautious, with revolver in my hand.
”Hey!” – guy shouted cheerfully.
”Greetings.” – I replied calmly.
”Is there Irina Flora around?”
”She’s absent. Personal matters. Why do you ask?”
”She was supposed to give me a report, so I could give it to Lukash.”
”Really?”
”Nah, it’s just an excuse, so I could get out from the base.”
”But what do you want from her?”
”My amount of weed is getting low. I asked pretty much everyone if they have some to spare. Looks like I’ll have to look elsewhere. You’re here alone?”
”Yeah. And who are you exactly?”
”Yurik Bear. I know you’re Rider, but I don’t remember which one.”
”Plagued.”
”Maybe you want to go with me? I’ll have someone to talk to.”
”If weed is involved then I’ll go.”
”Great. I’ll go around for a while and ask others for some plant. But after that, I know the place where we can chill out. Follow me.”

I (F29 HLL) have been with my partner (M28LL) for 6 years and we might have sex once a month. For context, because of rental crisis and money we live with my parents. Over the last year or so sex has been less and less. He says its because he doesn't want to be interrupted by my parents like with them walking past the room or making lots of noise in the kitchen. Which is fair enough, but when we have the house to ourselves he doesn't even try. I know you can't just switch it on but he doesn't even bother coming to kiss me or touch me.
I've have brought this up so many times and said it makes me feel like you don't want me anymore but he just shuts down or repeats what is said above. I feel so ugly and unloved.
I could be in no clothes just laying there from after a shower, or getting changed and taking my bra off or even tonight I sent him a photo and I get nothing.
I feel so angry and so upset. I just don't want to do this anymore but I don't want to throw 6 years down the drain.
What do I do? It's all him and not me, I've been holding back for him but I don't want to live this way. Help me talk to him?

-Conan is a walking power fantasy with infinite strength and stamina. He's a high-level Skyrim character with maxed out melee skills. Elric is always in terrible physical health and can barely sustain his life. With Elric's blood condition, you'd expect someone like that to be bedridden for life, but no, Elric embarks on epic adventures anyway despite being on death's doorstep every day. Elric's reliance on drugs often adds another layer of tension to the story, because his means of sustenance aren't always available. If he's completely cut off from medication, he's at the mercy of his enemies.
-Conan can brute force his way through most situations, which can be fun to read, but I'd rather just pop in Doom Eternal and do the brute forcing myself! Elric can only use brute force when he is physically well-sustained by souls, drugs or magic. Stealth, wits, and magic serve Elric as much as his sword does, leaving you guessing how Elric may win.
-Conan has no relationship with his god, Crom, because Crom refuses to help people who pray to him. Elric, meanwhile, has a very close partnership with his god Arioch... who is basically Satan. And by "relationship", I mean a series of Faustian bargains which might help Elric win battles, but indebt him to a devil. Elric is also friends with elemental spirits, like the Poseidon-like sea king who offers Elric aid freely, though Elric is usually in situations where only demonic power will help.
-Conan is a very simple dude with a simplistic moral compass. He eats, drinks, slays, and is content. Elric is an extremely conflicted character. His entire race is evil, but, like Drizzt, tries to abandon evil and embrace good, leaving his homeland on a quest for enlightenment. Unlike Drizzt, Elric constantly fails at being good despite his best efforts. Its tragic and interesting to watch Elric try and become good so he can save his empire, only to dig himself deeper into the hole. He basically goes into a Bloody Nine rampage whenever he unsheathes his demonic sword Stormbringer, which has a mind of its own, and tries to impose its own murderous will upon Elric.
-Conan is completely victorious. He never loses, his plot armor is immeasurable, and he is always the moral victor in whatever situation he's in. He is benevolent, he is powerful, and failure is inconceivable to him. Elric is a Shakespearean tragedy and a walking atomic bomb. He's closer to Macbeth or Scarface. Elric's plot armor is thinner, and even when he DOES win, sometimes he'll cause so much destruction (to both his own soul and others') that you'll wonder if he deserved to. Elric's loved ones have little plot armor either; Conan has no home or loved ones to return to, while the entire reason for Elric's quest is for him to save his people from the doom he foresees. Every one of Elric's victories just brings that doom a little bit closer. I have to wonder if Joe Abercrombie has read Elric, because Elric's "victories" often resemble the Bloody Nine's.
-Conan's enemies are kinda meh. He has no rivals who can match him with the sword. No Vergil to his Dante, no Gary Oak to his Ash Ketchum, no Edgeworth to his Phoenix Wright, no Sub Zero to his Scorpion. Elric has his cousin Yyrkoon, who nearly equals Elric in intelligence and fighting prowess, and even gets his own runesword to fight against Elric's own. Later, Elric meets other powerful baddies who actually prove a match for him. His worst enemies, however, may be his best allies: his own devil-god Arioch, his own demon-sword Stormbringer, and his own will to resist his fate, resist the gods, and the impending doom of his crumbling empire.
-Conan's story doesn't really end. Chronologically, "Hour of the Dragon" is his last story, and that just ends with him choosing his queen. We never get to see how his reign over Aquilonia goes after that, due to Howard's tragic suicide. Elric's story DOES have a definitive ending, and goddamn, it is satisfying. One of the most satisfying endings in all of fiction. Though not one of the happiest...
-There's nothing like Elric's relationship with his sword Stormbringer in Conan. Conan is a loner and triumphs by making temporary alliances at best. Elric needs Stormbringer like Gollum needs the One Ring, and their relationship is just as toxic and destructive.
Elric's weaknesses, his self-destructive powers, his moral conflicts, his futile war against fate, his powerful enemies, and the completeness of his his story arc all make him more fun to read than Conan.

Look I know people won't like what I have to say, but some of the shit in these levels is just so over the top and breaks immersion. If the devs are going for a hyperstylized parody of the real world fair enough I guess, but I've had it sold to me that this game is the gritty realistic successor to SWAT 4. SWAT 4 had some goofy elements, but I'll point out a few things that make the game less believable:

The pedophile organization is cartoonish evil and not subtly disturbing in some places. I will say Valley of dolls is pretty well done, because thematically you get the nice rich Hollywood house on the surface, and then you enter the nightmare of the basement and you see the horror. However, the problem I have with this, who the fuck decorates their pedophile layer like a Batman villain, with a giant mosaic that just screams "I am a bad guy". I feel like the devs took the easy way to make you see how evil they are, and it comes across as really hokey. Epstein did not have a giant room with photos of his victims plastered all over with black paint smeared everywhere, it was much more subtle and sinister.

The talent agency also screams "How do we make them seem evil". There are children's handprints on every inch of every wall, and then scribbles of "Think of the money!", really? There's also a pedophile shrine that looks like a raider hideout from Fallout 3. Not to mention the building looks like a crackhouse with the amount of trash and disrepair, what kind of front organization has "WE ARE PEDOPHILES" so clearly plastered on their walls but then doesn't even try to have the front area looks half-way decent. Thematically it just needs less obvious signs that something is wrong, and a gradual decent into hell needs to be shown like it was in the SWAT 4 cult mission.

And finally, one of the most controversial choices with lots of backlash and lots of defenders, the massive piles of bodies in the night club. Look, I know it is entirely possible that a team of terrorist's could kill enough people to clog hallways and make anthills in the middle of the floor, but the fact of the matter is most people who I have played this game with gets to this level and immediately comment on how dumb it looks to have giant piles of corpses like a collection point. I don't care if it's plausible, the fact is it looks ridiculous and breaks immersion because it seems highly improbable and gives the impression that these bodies were stacked on top of each other post fact.

The carnage needs to be subdued and given smarter context to make the horror come across to the player, which they do in some aspects with environmental storytelling such as the phones ringing. And in the hospital, although it's pretty cliché and overdone, having the white board wishing a doctor happy retirement or having get well soon cards next to a hospital bed speaks volumes more than copy pasted corpse piles everywhere.

I just think there needs to be less overt signs of corruption and evil and more subtle contrasts. It's just my opinion though, so if you feel otherwise that's fine.

I had a friend on deployment who watched me play Jedi Fallen Order right when it came out. Him, myself, and 5 other guys shared a room. He watched me play the whole thing. He was a simple farm kid and didn’t know much about anything pop culture. At the end of the game when Vader comes out he goes “YOOOO what the HELL is that THING.” After probing a few more questions but being careful not to blow it I discovered this man did not know a single thing about Star Wars. Literally nothing. He gathered from the game that Darth Vader was a very, very bad dude and that was pretty much it. I got to organically introduce a 25 year old man to Star Wars when he didn’t know a SINGLE thing about it. We watched every movie together starting with episode 1. Some highlights were the Sand People scene he goes “yo Anakin is acting kinda bad what the hell” and then in episode III several times he was like “man they are really putting my guy through it with all this stuff, they gotta remember man has never had a dad” (referring to the Jedi asking him to spy on Palpatine) shortly after is the scene in Palps Office. Palpatine delivers the line “Hence forth… you shall be knowwwn as Darth……Vader” and this man stood up off the couch and out loud went “YO WHAT THE FUCK NO!” Then looked at me with tears in his eyes and goes “He doesn’t turn into that thing does he?? How does that happen? He was so good!” Literally the biggest dopamine hit I’ve ever received in my life. Homie bawled at this scene too. Other highlights were the Hallway Scene where my boy went “oh god damn them boys is so fucked” as soon as he saw the saber

So theres this boy who will purposefully sit next to me, sometimes with his friends sometimes not, and just constantly take the piss out of me. The first time, he kept messing with my violin case with his friend the whole journey even when I told him not to, saying rude stuff to me, and I thought okay whatever, that was annoying but it probably wont happen again. Boy was I wrong. Often he will sit next to me at the last minute so I cant ask him to move, and when I try to get off at my stop he'll pretend to sleep so I cant get past him or try to trip me up (or both). One time it happened when I had my violin so I was REALLY stuck, and I almost missed my stop - I had to shout for the driver to stop and it was really humiliating, at that point I was already crying out of frustration because I could tell he was doing it on purpose and I dont know why he constantly targets me specifically. Maybe to get a reaction? I try to be as emotionless about it as I can but its hard. Today he didnt sit next to me (thank god) but when I walked past him he tried to trip me up and block my path with his foot, then when I tried to get off at my stop he pretended to pick up a pen so he could try to trip me up again. Maybe this just sounds like a typical teenage boy being annoying and not bullying, but its the fact that he only does this stuff to make fun of and humiliate me. This kind of stuff literally happens EVERY TIME I go on the bus now and it makes me dread it so much that I dont want to take the bus anymore, but neither of my parents would be able to pick me up and I dont live within walking distance of my school. Once I turn 17 I could learn to drive but I dont know how long that takes and I'd still have to take the bus until then. Its also just so humiliating that the boy doing this is so much younger than me and theres nothing that will make him stop. I dont really know why Im being targeted by him, however I am autistic so maybe he can tell and thats why hes doing it to me? Also, maybe from the way Im describing this it doesnt sound that bad but its so embarrassing and it really gets to me. He just constantly wants to humiliate me. Im so tired.

Hello! I am a 29 year old female from Australia Perth. I am looking for advice on everything I need to get work on super yachts as a stewardess? Perth there are no training academy’s for this they are all over East on the other side of the country. Is there places in Europe or near the next season location that have great training schools? Or places people would recommend?
I am looking at doing it in the next couple months and understand the season in the Mediterranean is almost over, so given the time any tips of where I should get myself to to have the best chance for the next season?
I have been hairdressing for the past 10 years working for myself the last 2 years but in between worked for almost a year in a house keeping position (because of covid) away from home and actually loved it! Along with this have worked in hospitality/kitchens. I love working with and being around people. Meeting people from all walks of life excites me so much! I understand the work will be hard but I am prepared for that.
I have googled alot and end up going around in so many circles So any advice and help would be amazing!

Learned my lesson of downloading dodgy software and running them on my personal machine... but anyways here is the story of how I recovered my hacked FB account.
In short, I woke up to my FB account's email and password changed and my phone number removed all in the morning whilst I was sleeping. What was even weird is that my password was a randomly generated ~12 character string and I had 2FA set up on my phone. Essentially the usual to what happens to most people who's accounts get hacked on FB.
Of course, I panicked.
So on my phone, I went onto the link given to my email before it was changed and tried to reverse the process in which FB asked me if the hacker's email was mine... which was funny because there was no option to SAY NO IT WASN'T MINE, so me being anxiety and panic ridden clicked the confirmation option which made this process EVEN MORE HARDER to recover my account.
So now my dumbass had now just confirmed the hacker's email and didn't know the password. BUT I was on the my FB's Meta account centre. Now being even more of a dumbass, I should've:

• Tried some fiddling in adding my email back in the personal details > contact information so I could have control again. As adding an email/ phone number to your contact information didn't require you to enter your password. Then from there remove the hacker's email and make my email as the primary contact email and from there reset my password.
• Log out of all other devices except the one I'm using.
• If I wanted to DELETE my account as FB has such shit privacy + I don't really use FB at all.
• BEEN ON A GOD DAMN PC/LAPTOP WHEN DOING THIS BECAUSE ATTEMPTING TO CLICK THE LINK AND RECOVER MY ACCOUNT ON A PHONE IS SO DAMN HARD AS THE INTERFACE IS SO BAD.

But of course, I love to make life harder for myself it seems and I DIDN'T do that at all and instead I finally went on a laptop and went to this: https://www.facebook.com/hacked and the other useless FB online links. Which effectively logged me out of every single device so I no longer was logged in on my phone.
And as we all know I was put in an endless loop without the "not longer have access to these?" option, So I searched the web for any possibility to try and recover my account. From methods of:

• Using my friend's oculus serial number to contact FB human support from there.
• Trying to contact Microsoft support (hacker's email was outlook) to delete the email
• Attempting to email FB support

Which all didn't work. So here's what worked for me:
After a month, I went back to my parent's place which had a bit of an oldish (win 10, my laptop was win 11 and phone is pretty new) PC that is a trusted device. I thought why not try the recovery process again? So I went back to Facebook and tried to login with my old email and details, and what I saw is that my old email was still registered on the FB account. So I tried account recovery (https://www.facebook.com/hacked) and ended up in the section of Reset Your Password, and finally saw the little prompt of submitting a new recovery email and ID was there, so I submitted my ID and a new recovery email.
I then also saw another method which was to SIGN INTO MY GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO BYPASS EVERYTHING AND CREATE A NEW PASSWORD as I created the account with a gmail. So I redid the account recovery process and signed into my google account, redid the 2FA that was apparently still set up on my phone? and finally changed the password and logged in. I then went straight to the Account Centre, added my email, deleted the hackers, essentially followed the bullet points on what I should've done and now my FB account has 2 authenticator apps connected to it and a 20+ character randomised password.
My advice once I had been through all stages of grief back and forth:

• Don't panic, stay calm
• Do the recovery process on a laptop/pc
• If you're logged in do everything in your power to get rid of the hacker's details and add yours
• Delete FB because of it's shit support.

I think the reason it worked on this PC was due to it being a trusted device + being on windows 10/ not being the newest version so the browser interface/functions was probably old? and I think I just found a loophole in general.
Anyways, for those who made it to the end thank you for reading this hell of a mess of a post and I hope it somewhat helps you. I hope you all manage to recover your Facebook accounts. And finally, fuck FB 😁.

tl;dr: If you made your FB account with a google email then use a trusted device with an old updated i.e windows 10 pc/laptop and try the account recovery process from there. Background info: We've (27F and 28M) been together 5 years, and married for 3 years. I also do the majority of lawncare, laundry, and housecleaning. I am also responsible for taking out the trash, including cleaning bad food out of the fridge.
A typical day goes like this: we wake up at the same time. Partner starts getting ready for work; I let the dog out and start cooking breakfast for us. Partner leaves for work; I rush to get ready for my job. We both work 8 hours (which ends up being 8.5 hrs for me and 9 hrs for them because their work requires 1 hour lunch break). I get home ~30 mins before my partner, so I start preparing dinner (note: I almost always cook from scratch; these are not frozen, pre-made meals). After we eat dinner, my partner will go sit on the couch and watch TV to unwind/decompress while I put away leftovers, including putting portions away for lunches, and clean up the kitchen. What happens after that depends on the day. Sometimes I will mow the lawn, other times I will clean around the house or start laundry. It feels extra maddening because they have the energy to chat on the phone with family and shop online (which creates a lot of trash from the boxes and packaging that I usually end up having to breakdown and throw away or else the rubbish just accumulates in piles around the house).
On the off chance I convince my partner to help, they complain and blame me when it's a difficult task or if they can't find the right supplies.
Overall, I feel extremely burnt out and more like a caretaker than a partner in an adult relationship. It's very sad to me because early in our relationship, I felt like they were eager to show me love in the ways I enjoy (i.e., thoughtful gifts and quality time). Now I don't really get either of those. I feel lucky to get a genuine thank you.
I am expected to sacrifice and sacrifice, but there's a stunning lack of reciprocity. Maybe I just grew up in a household where we all pitched in to help one another, so the concept of asking someone to carry their weight feels odd. I'm not sure how to approach the conversation. To make matters worse, a few weeks ago they basically told me they were disappointed in our sex life and I don't "excite" them anymore. While they didn't want to divorce based on that, they said they were "grieving" something they didn't realize they would have to miss out on in a relationship with their life partner.
TL;DR my partner has stopped contributing to household duties without being told to help and said they are unhappy with our sex life. I am getting very burnt out, sad, and self esteem is in the gutter. Would I be wrong to issue an ultimatum that they either help me or I won't be cooking/cleaning for them anymore?

This isn't as deep as it sounds but it's something I had an issue with my whole life, my parents are divorced since I was little.
I am 16, and my mom lives in a fairly rich city while my dad lives at the same place they used to both live. More of a "primitive" place and not in a bad way but that's not the point.
I won't make this too long, at my mom's place we live in an apartment in a pretty rich side of the city, but the apartment is old, and in need of a repairs and reconstruction which the other neighbour's refuse. So the apartment is in a bad state, the interior and the exterior.
Since my parents are divorced our family has less income obviously and asides from that my dad's house is more "primitive" kind of in a more wildley area and in a good way.
But the point is that I haven't had friends at my house since i was probably 10 years old, because at my mom's place everyone is rich and we look poor compared to them and it's shameful, and at my dad's place I don't have friends...
I have been to most of my friends, and even if their house is messy, or their parents are divorced or even if they live in pretty shitty city that is cheaper. They might have a smaller house and the exterior isn't great but the interior is more modern, more fixed up.
More perfect in a way. I hate being jealous but it's not even being jealous about specific friends who have more financially stable families, even some of my friends that their parents divorced as well, and even live in around the same sized apartment we have it's just more modern inside of it.

New admin team this year and they decided to do EOY awards differently this year. In the past, teachers have been able to nominate students who performed well in their classes in whatever capacity that teacher deemed worthy of an award. Could be academic performance, attendance, just being a great kid - whatever.
This year, our admin decided to take that power into their own hands, and only awarded five things: citizenship, joy (teachers actually were able to nominated kids for these two), punctuality. attendance (why these are two separate awards - I don't know), and finally the "Principal's Award," which was determined unilaterally by the principal.
They decided there would be a male and female recipient and that the AP would nominate the male, and the Principal, the female. The male choice was actually a great choice. The female choice left the entire staff bewildered, wondering if there must have been a typo on their notes from which they were reading.
The female awarded has the following accolades: about 13 absences on average per class for the semester, 18 tardies this semester, failing almost every class, 12 disciplinary write-ups for the school year. I've had the pleasure of having this student in my class for two straight years now, and I can assure you it isn't based on a matter of effort either. The times she does come to class, she's either sleeping, or talking to her peers around her.
I'm in a very small school - HS student population around 200. There are probably 75 other girls in grades 9-11 that are more deserving of this award than this girl.
What the hell is going on? I'm just tired of rewarding apathy. It's no wonder no teachers want to stay at this school.

There’s something about this platform that STILL makes me think this is the place where I’m going to cross paths with the person I’m looking for Maybe it’s the fact that the average Redditor seems to be a bit smarter than some of the folks I’ve crossed paths with on dating apps, or the fact I’ve actually found a few people here I’ve carried on decent conversations with, but here we go again.
