2023.05.31 05:40 ManicMelancho1ic Well. There We Have It.
Well. There we have it. Yet another UCP majority gov’t for the next four yrs. It was a tough race. And a long one. The result certainly wasn’t what most if us here on
Alberta hoped for, which sucks. But at least it’s nice to know though that we have a healthy and functioning democracy in this very wonderful province.
But the fight doesn’t stop here. With only six seats away from an AB NDP majority, the AB NDP is the biggest official opposition in Alberta’s history. Now is not the time to give up. It is the time to step up. We have to keep the UCP accountable for their actions and the promises they made on the campaign trail. Write emails to your MLAs and Cabinet Ministers. Send post mail to them. Call them. If you’re part of the media, ask them questions on their press conferences.
We have to keep the UCP accountable and in line, I know that’s what I’ll do. Keep supporting the AB NDP by volunteering and donating if you can. Only God knows what the UCP will do to Alberta over the next four yrs. If they fuck up enough, maybe, just maybe, the AB NDP can reach 44 seats in 2027.
ELEXN AB VOTE RESULTS AS OF 8:35 PM PST ON MAY 30:
UCP- 927,453 (~44%) NDP- 776,238 (~52%)
UCP SEATS- 49 (5 away from opposition) NDP SEATS- 38 (6 away from majority)

2023.05.31 05:30 KdF-wagen I'm an idiot and my sh*t got stolen and shut down.. I repeat I am an idiot.
This sh*ts gonna be long and I do give credit because it was brilliantly executed. TLDR: I'm a dumbass with my pw's but I'm still getting emails from the "hacked" account on IOS.
systems: Iphone, windows, web logins.
3:43pm est I start receiving phone calls from telus every 30 seconds after hanging up, I ignore bc I'm up to my armpits in a shoulder spreader trying to get some electrical solenoids working. finally answer call tell me they are sending a code via text to confirm identity, thinking it's a stupid sales call i get the text with no other info in the text i enter the number and hit pound and almost right aways i get an ios window saying that LTE service has been cancelled or shutdown, i ask my guys who also have telus and they say they all have a little service. something fishy.. also i need my phone for work constantly so this is unacceptable.
4pm i get to my camper where there's wifi from the house i staying at...i start getting notifications, pw changed, info removed like alternate email and sms phone number changed...i panick start getting coinbase emails...i'm fucked. i'm broke cos I'm terrible at this shit but there's still a few hundo inside. lotsa doge and shibe. I figured, fack. there goes that..I'm still getting emails from the one that was stolen.....PO for bitcoin...oh com'on....credit card declined something about country ruling.. good still getting emails on outlooks app on IOS. start locking accounts, still getting emails. locking shit up fast, cannon access on web, onl;y through outlook iOS app, starting to change confirmation emails, Still getting emails. at this point i can still send and recive emails from that account so anything important accounts i've changed the reply email first and then the password so they don't send the if this wasn't you emails.
going on 10pm - I can still access my stolen email but only through the outlook app. I've tried through all the official outlook.com recovery methods and am under review but I'm STILL getting emails though the outlook app for some reason....can anyone tell me why I'm still able to get these emails and if I can use this to my advantage?

2023.05.31 05:29 0100110101000101 39 [M4F] Midwest US / Anywhere - drifting in the torrent of sounds and colors
I don't think I could live without being able to hear. When not seeking some quiet solitude (or trying to sleep), my days are better with sound. A playlist, a single song - even 47 seconds I cut out of one, to play on repeat for hours. I never truly tire of music. And while I might share a similar thought to being able to see, at times, I experience a certain freedom in keeping my eyes closed while moving around or being in an entirely dark room. What you see is far more restricted throughout the days, anyway, isn't it? I can wander all the floors with an earbud, though there's only so many minutes I can stare out the 9th floor windows - the ones that let me gaze out across the sea of green and watch the waves of leaves flow with the wind.
I'm me. A confection of particular media consumptions, mild autistic vibes, and adoration of the colorful and cute. I live for music. A bit of electronic, EDM, synth-pop, and city pop heavy these days - with a past shaped from all manner of genres. Current top three: CHVRCHES, Röyksopp, BLU-SWING. I find a bit of peace in scrolling the internet for appealing digital or pixel art. Even calling forth moments of bliss through the views out within the world itself. I am an introvert, however. The energy and frame of mind to wear different masks is difficult to spontaneously call upon. Thus I spend my fair share of days here, in front of this screen - be it a new game experience (there's quite a bit of these for a story / number chaser, like myself) or purely satisfying my curiosity (language and technology are my two favorite areas to explore). Did I mention that I need to know? It's an implied background to anything in my life. That includes solving issues or improving, again, anything.
What am I doing here, why am I typing this? Whew. Well, you see, my mind isn't quite all over in an ADHD way. It's in a way that I can't help but feel I'm living in any number of times and places. If you're the right person, I'm sure you would agree, it would be nice to not be alone while wandering the everything. So I'm looking for a friendly individual that is open to possibilities. Hopes. Ambitions. Dreams. Send me a message or few - if we're in sync, I'm open to swap for Discord (I'm also positive toward voice chats and calls in general). I don't use social media outside of scrolling Twitter.
Notable content: Over 6' tall, less than 200 lbs. I tend to shave what's left on top, keeping a beard that ranges trim to bushy. No tattoos. Grey-ace / demisexual, with times I do not want to even be touched. I've begun to carry a variety of gastrointestinal issues as I've aged. Firm on DDF and smoke free, and I rarely drink. Fairly decent flexibility and mobility with a need for movement. I don't stay up or sleep late. EST time zone.

We're a blind prog group looking for a caster to help us finish P8S and go on to the new tier. We've seen enrage on the door boss a few times. With that said, we’re clearly not the quickest or best group, but we do enjoy figuring out the fights, developing strategies, and growing as gamers along the way. To us it's more about the experience than simply checking off a clear. After prog we aim to get BiS, but we're definitely nowhere near the fastest at it lol. So if you want to enjoy the fights with us and don't mind the slowish pace, give us a try. Lastly, you don’t have to be blind in order to join us. As long as you're cool and respect the process by allowing us to figure out the mechs, I don't mind.
Raid schedule is Sat and Sun 8-1030pm EST. Mon at the same time will be optional if everyone is able. I will put up an event in our discord for any optional days in which everyone can sign up for or not. If we get enough for such days, we’ll run it. If not, we’ll just see each other on the weekend.
Message me if you're interested. Discord O-EXTRA#3498

2023.05.31 05:20 SnooGrapes6647 Delivery attempted?
I've been waiting for a package for about a week. Due to the long weekend, it was supposed to come today by 7pm. Then early this morning it updated saying it was going to come tomorrow by 7pm, even though it has been scanned into my city since Friday. I understand they're probably backed up. Then around 9am I get an alert that it's out for delivery. Hooray! I wait all day. Randomly checking the status etc. Just now I went and peeked out on my porch before I came to put my son to bed. Nada. Then about 90 seconds later i get an alert - delivery attempted, resident not available. They definitely didn't attempt to deliver anything. And why wouldn't they just leave it on the porch? It didnt require a signature and even if it did, they didnt knock. Is this something drivers do when they're tired and just want to be done for the day? Again, i get they're overworked and probably busy after the weekend but come on. Don't lie. I'm guessing this means we start all over again tomorrow?

2023.05.31 05:19 CatchPhase My sister is awesome 🎉
I came out to my sister a few months ago, but haven't really hung out with her much in a context that requires her to refer to me with my name or pronouns.
We went to some local markets together over the weekend, and we went back to her and her partner's place for lunch.
That's when I saw some writing on their fridge door, which they use to plan out their days like a calendar. It said "sis @ markets ~9am."
I don't know why it made me so happy, but it did. I love her so much 🥰

2023.05.31 05:14 sagar2801 Cross Country Car Trip -- Tips on traveling safe on budget
roadtripper plan map I started Road trip with my wife from NJ, we want to explore as much natural beauty for long time, to support trip, I need to work remotely in EST time and I plan to take days off when required to explore bigger national parks like yellow stone.
Currently we're in Denver Colorado, exploring rocky mountains.
Any tips for us to find safe accommodations in budget. We did get camping accessories with us to camp for few days. Any recommendations on places to stop to would be great!
Also, which cell service do you recommend to explore lot of national parks?

2023.05.31 05:10 Crizen10 Hyped for 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans
| https://preview.redd.it/nhj7d8pvj03b1.jpg?width=2560&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=01b258435904ee2ebed98cc8fac79063b1f6e20f A stacked grid that would only get better with time. It's great how quickly we've gotten Sim versions for some of the cars, and I am excited to see what comes next. I also like WEC and IMSA sharing regulations, as this would increase the appeal and longevity of the category on both sides of the pond. The only downside I see is the loss of LMP2. LMDH/LMH is more affordable than LMP1 so bigger LMP2 teams might make the jump. Couple this with the fact that LMP2 cars had to be slowed down to separate the categories, and you can see why I am concerned. I like LMP2 as it has become the fastest "one-make" sportscar series (everyone runs an Oreca) but as the LMDH grid grows it might be time for LMP2 to become its own series. What are your thoughts? As a side note, I will be hosting a 2.4hrs of Le Mans with a 50-car grid on Assetto Corsa on June 9th at 7:00 pm BST (2:00 pm EST) using URD's Scuderia Glickenhaus SCG007 and Moyoda GR010. If that sounds fun, you can sign up here. submitted by Crizen10 to simracing [link] [comments] |
2023.05.31 05:06 MangoIceCream381 [WTS] TW Price Dawn V2 w/Timascus Addons - Last Price Drop
Timestamp Video Howdy,
To anyone looking at this, the maker is having a drop for Dawn V2 on June 2, 2 PM PST. Best of luck, probably gonna go quick again.
Selling my
Letter Opener Dawn V2 Blackwash; hasn't been carried much and has sat in my office desk for use as a letter openepackage opener. Just looking to move the funds into some car upkeep funds.
Handle is in excellent condition with no chips, or damages to the anodization. Blade has no damage, still has a factory edge, with exception of hand oil. Excellent knife, really smooth drop shut action that has almost gotten my thumb a couple of times, and great ergonomics. Blade is pretty dead center. Not sure what pattern this is, but it's pretty grippy.
Comes with the box, COA and original clip and purple collars.
$400SV ($80 off my cost)

2023.05.31 05:03 TheJared601 How should i approach this interview?
I'm working with a temp/employment agency and I asked the recruiter about the actual position and description and they went back to the client and i was never provided an answer. So.. 9am tomorrow morning, wish me luck! I'm guessing it's probably a staff accountant position based on the hourly rate, but staff accountant description can vary by company... any advice?
Note: I have worked with this agency before and have been given better job details before.
