Roblox houses

Me and a few other people created a stereotypical family myth a few months ago. I started off building the house, a Victorian mansion, but I’m struggling to finish it now. I am the only builder in the group and I really underestimated the difficulty of creating a whole house. I’ve been building for a few years in Roblox Studio, but I’ve never done anything at this scale. The other people are starting to get tired with the lack of progress being made, and I fear it’s going to fizzle out and flop soon.
Have any other builders had this issue with trying to create a myth place?

Hi! I have been playing roblox for about 11 years so far, however recently i've decided I want to make something big, a city roleplay game loosely based on an IRL town I live in. It'll have the typical jobs such as police, fast food worker,etc. which all(hopefully) will be interactable. I plan to have a housing system among other things too. I plan for the game to have a HUGE selection of realistic cars to choose from, preferrably with realistic performance/handling.Anyways I recently started on it, and already feel overwhelmed. I don't have anyone to help me on the project, Ive tried in the past to use talent hub but vetting people can be quite a pain, I've had people try to scam me in the past as well as people who just don't put in any effort.I also have tried discord servers but those can be a pain, I kept having my help wanted posts removed because the prices were too low or too high, as I'm not sure what the going rate for a buildescriptemodeleetc. would be.I really want to find someone to assist me who is as passionate as I am about roleplay games. Before now I mostly make small detailed models, specifically fire alarm systems, and detailed elevators that people can use in their games.The picture is previous progress I've had on it previously, however I lost it a few weeks ago, and now have to start over from scratch.If I were to try to hire a co- developeproject developer or whatnot, what would the going rate be? I work full time but am on a bit of a budget, the main thing though is someone there to come up with ideas with and to help build. though to keep me motivated on the project as well.

A long time ago me and a friend played a game in roblox where you are set on a rainy night on a highway. there is two tunnels next to you that you cannot enter, that cars occasionally come out of, and you can go inside a little yatai and watch TV (yatai is a small japanese cart that either sells food or is used as a portable house). please help me find this because me and my friend cannot find it!

We went to see my 5 year old niece at husband’s parent’s house. Niece is a product of BIL and his exGF. I am friends with xGF - we became friend when they were dating because her other daughter and my daughter got along awesome. Their relationship went south when she got pregnant with Niece. BIL hooked up with his current GF even before baby was born.
I hardly know the current GF. Even MIL got in the act of making sure we didn’t know current GF and her kid. It was like MIL was keeping us away from my kid knowing her kid. While the opposite was true with xGF when they were dating - my daughter and xGF daughter hung out all the time.
I met GF and her daughter one time when MIL had a party recognizing our niece once the paternity test came back positive. That was 2018.
When we went to visit niece this time around, daughter just got done with 5th grade. I wasn’t sure what to talk about as I hear everything about niece from biomom. It was my niece, BIL and his GF and ILs. Her daughter was with her dad. I would mention daughter is learning programming and GF would mention her daughter is really good with tech too. Every time I mentioned my daughter, she would mention her daughter who wasn’t there. It felt weird especially since they are a year apart and don’t know each other.
I am not sure how I could make the conversation work better as it was getting into competition mode. She even lied about her daughter programming in Roblox. BIL corrected her.
In the end we bailed on the outing when it was time to eat. His parents make restaurant eating so stressful that husband shuts down. I didn’t want to jeopardize husband’s mental health.
In any case, I am not sure how to deal with his GF or just keep it LC. It’s been pretty LC from the beginning.

have been experiencing on-and-off issues ingame and in studio where various models, sounds, textures, animations & so-on will outright fail to load. this has been extremely painful to deal with and i am now reaching out for help. if anyone would be able to give advice, it would be so helpful
in studio, weapons fail to load & parts of rigs fail to load.
in this roblox game, the gun's texture, the UI & the roof of the house as well as my gun failed to load?? they will also never load

I know everyone has at least delt with one person that has knocked at their door, or stood by their plot, wanting a tour or something.
TL;DR - I allowed a player into my plot, she took screenshots of the whole build without permission, I went to build mode to quickly get her out, she stormed off saying "Tu feo" ... "you ugly"
This player named "Bunny" (Idk her actual account name, but that's her roblox nickname) knocked on my door. She started off saying "you're house is so nice!" "Thanks ^{^} It's not done yet though" - "That's okay, could I have a tour?" I didn't want to because I was skeptical, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. - "Did you get your house from a tutorial video?" "No, I got it from a blueprint" "How?" "By just searching up blueprints online.."
She asked to see the inside of my house again, so I finally let her in. She kept knocking on doors and being a snot about it repetitively saying "Open" "opeen" "OPEenn" . . Even though I explained to her that there was nothing in the room.
I saw her go to a corner of the entrance and just stand there for a second. I immediately knew what she was doing but I wasn't thinking of how to act upon it.

I hate how gullible I was. And on top of that, I ended up disconnecting shortly after.

Yes, I'm aware that nearly my entire family is toxic. So I apologize in advance for the length and melodramatics of this post. I'm fed up. With everything.
My half-sister constantly lies about EVERYTHING. Little stuff, big stuff, doesn't matter. If she can, she WILL. Sometimes it's lying to fit in to a conversation. Sometimes it's lying to impress me(like when she claimed that her so-called boyfriend snuck into her room while our dad and stepmom were asleep, even though I could obviously tell that was a lie) since we're close and she confides in me about a lot. Sometimes she even lies about bigger stuff to get herself out of trouble.
But the stealing is starting to become worrying. She'll steal from me, our stepmom(38F), our dad(38M), I bet even her friends. Some weeks ago, I was spending the night and went to sleep with my purse near me. The next day, I went to the bathroom and saw my purse on the bathroom counter, which I thought was weird since I knew I didn't put it there. I looked in there, and low and behold, the small amount of money I've been saving up is GONE. I confront my sister since I heard her sneaking around late last night, asking her if she stole from me. She said no, that she'd never steal from me. But why was my purse suddenly in her bathroom, completely void of my money? I talked to our dad about it, who then talked to my sister. She kept up the lie for ten minutes straight, saying she swore she didn't take it. She started crying, so by then I was starting to wonder if maybe I didn't bring any money with me when I went to visit(I live with my mom but visit my dad frequently).
Finally, she admitted to stealing from me because she wanted to buy a shirt. But the shirt she wanted was something our dad already told her he'd buy for her. After she admitted that, our dad told her he wouldn't buy her that shirt, grounded and punished her, then told her to give me my money back. She did, but I was still really hurt because even though it wasn't a whole lot of money, I've been trying to save up since my mom and I have been homeless for a few months. We've been living in a motel ever since a natural disaster destroyed our house, so every little amount matters while we're trying to move into our new house(which we'll be in by Tuesday, thank goodness). My sister knows this, because I was on the phone with her and our dad when the tornadic storm was destroying my house while I was in it.
Then, my sister has been seeing her bio mom and other half-sister(no relation to me) since earlier this year. Her other sister(14F) isn't a good influence. She vapes and is regularly supplied with a pen by their mom. Also, they're never supervised by adults when my sister visits, as their bio mom works all day. My sister told me recently that her other sister taught her how to shoplift. My sister stole a vape and hid it under her bed. Not only that, but her other sister got her addicted to energy drinks, so my sister started stealing them from our stepmom.
She's also stolen money from our dad's credit card to buy over $200 worth of stuff on Roblox. I'm close to both my dad and my sister, and I know that our dad is actively hurt by my sister's constant lies. He and stepmom have punished her. She's grounded every other month, it seems, for either lying or not listening. We've all actively sat her down and tried to talk to her. Still, LIES. She's even got a counselor. I don't know what she tells the counselor though. I'm just sick of her not owning up for what she does, willingly dragging things on and on to get what she wants. When she does something wrong, it's "Oh well you do the same thing, I don't know why I'm the one getting called out for it. I don't know why I have to stop."
Is there anything else I or our dad can do to stop this behavior? I think her bio mom is partially to blame because she wasn't there for my sister for a majority of her life, but surely that's not the only reason she's this way. We're close, and I don't want her to go down the wrong path in life.

I remember about two or so years ago I was exploring Roblox when I came across this one game. I thought nothing of it as first but the more I played it the more sad and unsettled I felt. I don't remember much, but I remember the game taking place in a house. Maybe it was called "House Tour" or something along the lines? I'm not sure. Anyway, the game seemed normal until you'd start finding notes around the house, reading how the kid living there had an illness. Like I said, I don't remember much, but I think this child lived with his uncle? Whatever it was someone was leaving notes around the house explaining the child's illness, etc. I think touching certain things around the house would also send you to other games?
That's all I really remember but I'd really like to play this game again, any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

My little brother (10) is what one would call, an iPad kid. He had an iPad, but it broke due to misuse (of course). Currently, he has a laptop (which was my sister’s) and an Oculus.
All he ever does when he’s at home is play games on his laptop or Oculus. And he does it for hours into the night, even on school nights. Now, I was pretty bad during Covid, but when I was his age, I went outside a lot, played with toys, read books, drew, and just a lot of stuff besides sitting watching TV all day and playing games.
Now, as his older sister, it’s really worrying that he does nothing but play games in his free time. I play games myself, and I used to play them a lot, but I always had limits. Now, staying up during the summer and sleeping in during the day is fine, and even staying up a few times during a school day, sure, every kid does it. The extent he goes to though is worrying.
He does NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING else. I have to beg him to get off and do something else. I wouldn’t care if he was on his laptop all day if he did something helpful around the house. He’s a tall child, around 5’5 if not more, and he’s smart too in a way where he understands what needs to be done. I had chores when I was 8 years old, simple chores. Sweeping the stairs, organizing shoes, and cleaning up the dining table. Yet, my mother and father don’t assign him any chores. He can’t even do basic tasks. Realistically, I wouldn’t care if he did no chores if he was doing something more engaging or something, but he doesn’t.
It angers me how detached he has become and he only worried about himself and his needs so he can get back to playing his stupid games. He’s reckless and has hit me many times and has caused many things to fall or get damaged when playing with his VR headset. He doesn’t act like he cares about anything but his games.
I feel like it’s affecting him fundamentally as well. He lacks awareness of his surroundings, always seems out of it, doesn’t listen when you give him basic tasks, and his memory is total shit.
As much as I hate to say it, I’m starting to hate him cuz of it. It started to get really bad a few months ago, and my parents put no restrictions on him and don’t try to give him other things he can do or try to do things with him. They’re always busy and tired but whenever I try to do something, my mom always interferes and protects him saying “it’s okay, you’re a hypocrite, you’re always on your devices too.” I am, but never as bad as he is. I used to be bad, but that was during covid and i got over that and got better.
He has cried and vomited over games in Roblox. Yes, literally vomited and had huge tantrums and hissy fits. Over a fucking Roblox game. Safe to say that I am beyond worried about how this kid is gonna develop.
He even holds his bladder just so he can play his game and has had accidents due to this. He eats like shit and never tells anyone when he’s hungry because he’s too worried about playing some stupid game.
His hygiene is shit too. He’s sit around smelling like total shit, piss, and onions and not do anything about it because he wants to play his games. And it isn’t like he doesn’t know how to clean himself, he does, but he just prefers smelling and playing games then playing games after he smells decent.
I’m barely 15 so there’s not much I can do. I’ve tried putting restrictions and telling him to put his shit away and go to bed when it’s late, but it only can work so much until I’m off to bed and not bothering him anymore.
My sleep has been disrupted because this boy wants to play VR in our tiny room (Gorilla Tag of all games) and hit me in my sleep and have his controllers fly out of his hands. I have woken up to him screaming over his games with the lights on late at night, and i mean like 2 AM or some shit and it’ll be on a Tuesday night.
It’s a big problem, my other sister has complained with me to our parents, but we can’t do much. I want advice as to what I can do to help this chronically online child.

I have been a lonely person for most of my life, but especially since I’ve graduated from school a couple years ago. I became a hermit and don’t talk to anybody outside my house and can’t even seem to hold up any online friends. The company of my family is usually more than sufficient, but my mother is leaving for a work trip and my brother is moving out. So I’m gonna be home alone with my dad for the summer, who honestly doesn’t really spend too much time with me. I haven’t used Reddit in a while but I’m hoping that maybe I can meet someone who will get along with me and we can become good friends. To tell you more about myself, I’ve been diagnosed with schizophrenia since I was 12 but it’s treated and controlled for the most part. Some of my favorite things include Lana Del Rey, the movie Taxi Driver, the anime Monster, the book Lolita, and uhhh I also really like the color yellow. I enjoy studying philosophy, programming, cryptography, puzzles, history, homesteading, true crime and I also want to learn more about fitness. I don’t like gaming much besides Roblox and Minecraft. And I really appreciate people who talk a lot, helps me feel less awkward. I’m really just looking for someone who wants to have fun, or talk about anime, or just talk about how our days have been. Whatever you’re up for. I’m really just interested in making a meaningful human connection. Oh and I’m from California, might be cool if you’re nearby. Hi everyone, I am new here and am having trouble with my son sleeping at night. He is in 1st grade and already doesn’t have great sleep due to sleep apnea/large tonsil (we are seeing ENT for it) but he finally explained to me (when I stopped brushing him off and asked “what exactly are you seeing that are dark monsters at night? Give me details.”) what he sees almost every night. He drew a picture but I can’t see how to link it here. I’ll put their description at the end.
I’m a pediatric RN and have gone through all the possible medical reasons for his monsters but he is oddly specific about each one (there are four) and what they can do or not do. I don’t experience any activity in our house, it’s a place of love and much sunlight.
Can anyone identify these “monsters” as any characters from shows or games, such as Rainbow Friends, because possibly he saw a video or played a Roblox game that was rated incorrectly. He says he only sees them when I’ve already left the room and gone to bed, say around 3 or 4am. We are an agnostic household and I don’t ever talk to him about paranormal things except that we don’t know where we go when we die. He’s not a creative or imaginative boy.

To start off, this was in 2020. One of their display names was 'Ava,' I think the other started with a B or something? Anyways, so I was just building off of a speed build (specifically Madam Milk's incredible chateau), and these two girls come up to me politely asking for a tour. I said sure why not, and gave them a tour around the house. One girl mid-way in the garden leaves after "whispering" (read: she typed it like this: -whispers- it's so ugly) to her friend, "it's so ugly." I wasn't bothered much about that, and just let the girl leave. Then shortly after the other girl/Ava said it was "Your house is ugly." and also left. Also wasn't that much bothered but come on man, it's technically not even my house, it was from a speed build (I informed them of this), that's sorta just disrespecting the creatoMadam Milk. And the next moment I got on to build again, the girls began harassing me and saying that I'm racist and homophobic providing no evidence. Their reasoning was that my build was "old styled," thus it was racist? And I'm like: The title of the speed build is a MODERN French Chateau??? They start saying how racist French people are, and I'm like: Aren't y'all being racist too for calling an entire group of people racist without solid evidence? Sure, most were probably racist back in the day, but weren't most countries like that too and some still are? Why call out the French specifically? And then they go on a rant about how homophobic I am, despite me having an aromantic flag on the front of the plot and the LGBTQ+ flag in the garden. Then they say, "Well anyone could put an LGBTQ+ flag in their plot and be homophobic," which I'll admit, is a true possibility, but when have I ever said anything homophobic then? Ava and B start saying I should "build normally" which translates to: Build a modern linen house (Please note I have nothing against linen houses. They're just not the style I like.). I refuse, saying that Madam Milk's build is perfectly fine, and that they should mind their own business. My plot, not theirs, plus I don't see anything inappropriate with it. Ava and B demand that I at least delete my house because it's "offensive to black people." I ask why, they say: You're using the color BLACK. I hit back with, why did coeptus put it there then for all races to use? And that you (Ava) was white and still used the color black. She says that's fine because she has a black friend who approved, specifically B here. I'm like: I don't see y'all hating on other houses that clearly use black on their roof tiles and plots, they ignore me and starting pointing out how my avatar's face (It's similar to the suspicious face, I don't remember what mine was called), was racist once again in an attempt to find another way to bash me, and tried to "Cancel" me despite my lack of popularity on social media, let alone not being an influencer. I could not believe how stupid they were getting, and I'm like: There's thousands of people out there that use this face, why is it on the Roblox catalog if it's racist? Then they continue saying the same thing, and that me, a white person (Irony here is that I'm Asian), should not be building like this because it's disrespectful to Black people. (Please not that the fact that a race does not affect whether one is ACTUALLY/GENUINELY racist or not. It's just the stupidity of the girls that are attempting to find something remotely racist that's not even counted as racist.) I just ended up leaving because why spend and waste time on two idiots. Reported them too. (I don't remember their users, just their display names, unfortunately. Like I've said, it's been three years.)
