2008 honda cr v tpms reset

Need help identifying which of the 2 lines on top is the A/C suction line. Need to replace it and want to make sure I get the correct part. Thanks! (The Reddit app will not let me post the photo no matter how hard I try, but I'm still going to post in hopes that someone can help.) Thanks!

My wife and I are about to have our second child. We just installed the second car seat base in our 2016 Honda CR-V and realized it was time to face figuring out where to put our dog who travels with us a lot. She is a 75 pound shepherd mix.
Our current setup has our first child in his car seat on the passenger side and the dog on the driver side. But with the bulkiness of two car seats, the dog will not fit/be comfortable in the center. That leaves the rear storage area (is it called a trunk or a hatch in a SUV?).
So we're wondering - what have other people done who have a similar familial makeup? We have a stroller and a couple other items in the storage area. There is room for a dog but we'd like to make it comfortable and safe. And ideas for keeping items strapped down and a dog comfy?

2010 Honda CR-V ex-l 190,000ish miles
Today at a stop sign, I went to hit the gas and nothing happened. Looked down and saw that the battery and oil light were on. Realized I couldn't hear the engine, and that those lights are on whenever the key in in the on position with the engine off. Put the car in park and started it, it sounded slightly rougher than usual starting, but still started without issue.
There were no odd noises before the engine cut off, it just suddenly was off, as though it had been turned off normally.
No check engine light or other signs of issues. I stopped the car and let it idle for a while in drive multiple times and could not replicate the issue. I thought maybe I had knocked a wire loose somehow but tapping around the foot well and near where my hands would be, or jiggling the key could not replicate it either.
My car has been running fine. I did notice a brief squeel that sounded like the serpentine belt slipping last week while driving in heavy rain, but from my understanding a serpentine belt issue wouldn't cause this. Only other issue I can think of is a slightly erratic idle when cold, which it's had since I bought it 4 years/ 60,000 miles ago.
Not sure where to start with this issue, any suggestions? Not sure what would cause a car to suddenly stall with no odd noises or behavior, and then start right back up and keep driving like nothing happened

I have a 2016 CR-V with just under 70k miles, and of which I have been the sole owner. It is AWD and has a CVT transmission, made/assembled in Canada. Have been keeping up with its maintenance schedule extremely thoroughly. It had its routine transmission fluid replacement service and within a few weeks, started making a whining sound, hesitating badly (one time it barely made it uphill, it was hesitating so bad), and leaking transmission fluid. Took it to 3 separate independent car shops, who all confirmed the output shaft seal of the transfer case was leaking trans fluid; and the fluid that was leaking from it was muddy, dark brownish reddish. The seals were flattened.
The transfer case had to be replaced at that point.
Since the last car shop (actually, my local dealership) I took it to admitted potential workmanship issues on that service date and there were suspicions they did not actually do their transmission fluid replacement at all or correctly, they reimbursed me via check (thankfully) for a good chunk of that cost to replace the transfer case - even though I took it to another shop specializing in transmissions for repair.
My question is, has anyone else experienced transfer case or other transmission problems with their similar 2016 CRV‘s? At this point, I’m wondering how many more miles I can get out of it before the next huge repair hits 😫

Hi! I have been struggling to resolve an issue with my car battery for about a year now. Every time I leave my car unused, either while I’m sick or on vacation, and do not start it for 2-5 days, the battery dies. I’ve had the battery replaced twice by two different shops but that hasn’t solved the problem. I’ve had the starter and alternator tested and they appear to be in good shape. I’m not sure if anyone has had a similar issue, but any suggestions are appreciated!

I am looking for a family car and from all the digging that I did I found two cars that I seem to like the most: Honda Crv automatic diesel from 2010 and Mazda 6 estate automatic diesel from 2013. I'd prefer them in petrol, but I can't seem to find any available in my area and price range and it has to be an automatic. How are their diesel engines and auto transmissions? How rust-prone are the bodies?
I know they are quite different cars, but I have a soft spot for Honda (and the Accord seems to be inferior to the 6) and I like to go off the beaten path - no serious offroading though, just some forest paths or fields - maybe once or twice a year. I also checked that the clearance on CRV is barely 1cm higher than Mazda's. But most of the driving will be on paved roads, so Mazda seems like a decent choice too, especially since it has a very decent equipment.
I am not from the UK, but I do not seem to find relevant subreddits about cars in Europe, so here goes nothing. Thanks!

Just bought a 2018 Sport 1.5T a week ago and it has about 9 lights popping up at once (emissions system, ACC, TPMS, and more). The dealership where I bought it (not a Honda dealership) checked it and recommended I just reset the codes. Did that, it happened again after a few hours of driving, took it to an AutoZone, diagnostics said Turbo not getting enough pressure because of an intercooler problem. Took it to a Honda dealership, they said it wasn’t a turbo issue and replaced the VSA system and reset codes and said that should fix it. On my way home from the dealership it happened again (about 45 mins into the drive) and now I don’t know what to do. Battery’s fine, no issues with the sensor, but turbo is underboosting. Any ideas?

I have two kids, ages 4 and 9, and am not having more. Recently going through a divorce and of course I'm handed the minivan. It's a good one - a '15 Honda Odyssey - but it gets like 17 MPG, every maintenance service is more expensive due to the size, and in general it feels like way too much car for us.

My kids are (so far) not the sporty type, we don't really road trip, and aside from the sliding doors being cool (but a ticking time bomb to repair when they inevitably break) and immense space coming in handy to haul stuff once in a blue moon, I can't think of why I really need this thing to be my daily driver. When my oldest was born I had an Acura sedan and it was fine, and then I had an Outback and it was also fine, and honestly I think we only bought this because my ex is tall, one of them was still rear-facing, and we had lofty dreams of road trips and vacations that never happened.

Has anyone downsized to a smaller SUV (CR-V or similar) or even a small/mid sedan (Accord, Civic or similar) with two kids in forward-facing seats/boosters and regretted it? Loved it? Is there something that happens when they're teens that will make me wish I had my van again?

Hi all! So I just put a deposit down on a 2023 Cr-V Hybrid Sport Touring and wanted to share some of my experiences as a first time car buyer that may help someone else! I am a young female and did this all on my own and think I did well!
Once I decided I wanted the Honda after test driving all similar models, I got pricing on my car from Kelly Blue Book and Carmax so I had a rough idea of what I should be getting. Since this car is hard to find, I called around and or went in person to 5 different Honda dealerships (all within 30ish minutes of me). I definitely suggest getting a price quote online before going in person because once you go in person is when they get super pushy and if they give you a crazy number online at least you dont waste your time in person. The range in the lowest price I got to the highest price I got for the CRV was an $8000 difference! The difference in my trade in value from the highest offer to lowest was $3000. I also recommend taking a picture or if they let you take home the price quote sheet from every dealership so you can use it as a negotiating tactic at other places.
I ended up finding a dealership that gave me exactly what KBB said and sold the car to me at MSRP and I even got them to knock $1000 off. The $1000 was the “appearance package” that was not optional at this specific dealership. I told them I had another dealership getting the crv in a week later than them that was giving me the car mats/tint for free (not a lie). They ended up taking that $1000 off but I am still getting the tint/mats!
Every dealership I went to wanted me to sign the price quote paper on the spot. Although its not a contract, I didn’t feel comfortable adding my signature to anything so just told them no and I had to think about it even though they really pushed to get things signed.
As a first time young female car buyer, it was definitely intimidating! But know your facts beforehand and go in with a plan. With my deposit, I made sure to get the manager’s signature on the agreed upon price and the deposit receipt with his signature as well so they can’t go back on their pricing when the car comes in.
