I'm worried about my boyfriend. Over the years he has increasingly endorsed anti-woman, anti-feminist, and anti-trans views, and also covid misinformation, anti-democratic views, and so-on. Personally, I think it might be in part due to him watching j * e r * gan religiously. But then again, his show might just attract those with reactionary beliefs in the first place.
He's one of those people who will claim to be anti-political, hate politics, has never voted once in his life, yet harbors strong political beliefs.
He thought drumpf was merely "funny," and had no fear, despite being a minority of whom drumpf himself attacked and promoted racism.
I just don't understand how, or why, people can think or be like this? Is it just because they're not that smart? Are they afraid to "come out" because of the potential social consequences (say if they lived in a blue community)?

There's some Turkish cuisine that's made way into our culture after being under ottoman empire for a couple hundred years lol, but I haven't used majority of these spices ever. Since moving to Vienna from Salzburg, I've been surprised by being required to pay for some maintenance costs I didn't have to pay in Salzburg. For example, if there was something that broke in my apartment that wasn't our fault, like an appliance stopping working randomly, they would replace it. I kind of thought that was standard but every time we've had an issue in this apartment in Vienna we've been told we have to pay for it ourselves.
We now have a problem where the water for our toilet often runs constantly because something with the plumbing isn't correct and we want to reach out to have it fixed but if we're going to pay for it we would prefer to find somebody at our own cost.
Is there an easy overview of what falls under the tenant's responsibility vs the letting agent? Or does it entirely depend on each contract? Are there any organisations who help to mediate these sorts of things when the letting agent is trying to charge something they shouldn't be?

So a while ago I made the decision to read Spider-Man from the very beginning (Thank you Marvel Unlimited and Comics Back Issues reading order) and man... I'm closing in on Secret Wars and the early Peter and MJ stuff just makes everything I'm seeing from the recent runs more infuriating.
Obviously I haven't read OMD or anything (Literally I've only read from Amazing Fantasy 15 to currently on Spectacular Spidey 85), but reading the early peaks and valley's of their relationship just makes the fact that Marvel is keeping them apart completely illogical!
I just read a panel in Spectacular Spider-Man 85 where MJ tells Pete something that she liked about him and his response was to bring up the fact that it wasn't enough for her to marry him. She then asks if he could imagine that with the benefit of hindsight, that he could see them together and his response is no. Knowing that they eventually work through it and they do end up together, that the character development they go through has MJ completely unseat Gwen as Peter's one true love for a large portion of fans, knowing all of that and knowing how their relationship is currently treated by editorial is so appalling! From the panels people share on here, I don't even recognize the two characters as the same as the ones I'm getting to know, and that's not even the fault of the art (though Romita Jr. really has not been great from what I've seen).
Decades of character progression for multiple characters rendered completely meaningless... for what? For some misguided thought that a married and happy Peter Parker isn't relatable? As excited as I am to catch up to everyone on the comics side of things, I'm also kind of dreading it and just trying to focus on enjoying the journey. At least we have Marvel's Spider-Man and Earth-1048 (really love that version of Spidey).

My family has lived in a rental townhouse for 12 years. Our neighbours are heavy smokers and more often than not our clothes will come out of the dryer smelling like smoke. Our neighbours, who have rented longer than us, say it's because our dryers are connected. We both have mirrored homes that connect through a closet (no door) where we both put our washer and dryers. I heard from a friend this is illegal. I live in TN, is there a link that (explains to me like I'm 5) how it's illegal, and where we can report it if so? We're tired of smelling like smoke.

I have a Xone 23C DJ mixer where I'm connecting two turntables (phono), a Scarlett 2i2 interface (line) and a digital opt converter from my TV (line). My doubt comes mostly because of the interface, I'll be using it to record/play guitar and also as the audio output from my laptop to listen to music. Since the interface has the monitor knob which controls the volume, and then on the mixer I can control the volume of the input plus the master volume I really don't know how I should handle this and where to control it (interface, input know or master knob).
I also have another doubt with the monitors, I have the Rokit 5 G4, which also have volume knobs on the back, and I don't know where they should stand.The ideal would be to handle everything in one of them, but not sure which would be the best one.

Regarding CV’s
I would be fine with CV’s if there was a simple box you could check in normal games that allowed you opt out of playing with CV’s. Either send you or them to a longer queue to be matched with people that want them in their lobby. I’m grinding the German lines and had numerous games where I have died without a single shell hitting me just from being focussed by CV. Pushed up to an optimal spot for crossfires but couldn’t dodge the planes without exposing my citadel to the red team that was pushing up on my side of the map. There needs to be some kind of nerf in my opinion either take away CV’s ability to spot you to their whole team, nerf their damage & fire chance, have them always visible on the map, or buff all AA (Never gonna happen but just one would suffice). I’m not trying to be mean to them or anything but if they’re going to sit in the back of the map the whole game and risk nothing they should have to wait in longer queues to do so, that way the vast majority of the community that just wants ship on ship combat can have that again.

I would be fine with CV’s if there was a simple box you could check in normal games that allowed you opt out of playing with CV’s. Either send you or them to a longer queue to be matched with people that want them in their lobby. I’m grinding the German lines and had numerous games where I have died without a single shell hitting me just from being focussed by CV. Pushed up to an optimal spot for crossfires but couldn’t dodge the planes without exposing my citadel to the red team that was pushing up on my side of the map. There needs to be some kind of nerf in my opinion either take away CV’s ability to spot you to their whole team, nerf their damage & fire chance, have them always visible on the map, or buff all AA (Never gonna happen but just one would suffice). I needed to buy clothes for a new job after working in a uniform for years. Headed to Chadstone this morning, believing it to be central hub where I could find what I require. I rarely go to shopping centres, maybe once a year. At 11:30am on a Thursday the car park was brim full.
Had to take a photo of where my car was parked. These multi level shopping meccas are labyrinthine.
Walking inside, the visual impact was overwhelming. Floor to vaulting ceilings covered in vibrating signage, bombarding my senses. Fortunately, I found the stores I was after without too much hassle, but after an hour and a half, my search for new work gear was unsuccessful and my soul was dying.
There were so many more stores I could have tried, but I simply just had to get the fuck out.
I decided to head to Savers on the way home and the difference in the atmosphere was palpable. I know second hand stuff isn’t for everyone, but I really felt like I could breathe in the vast and uncomplicated warehouse of Savers compared to the claustrophobia of Chadstone.
Found exactly the jacket I was looking for as well as a business shirt.
Just made me wonder if there are people that actually enjoy heading to Chadstone? It seems inconceivable to me.

My cousin is an amritdhari sikh and he performs at hindu jagrans, muslim peer events where they do pakhand he is singing at a narakdhari gurudwara right now I am also sitting on the side with him. When I asked him he said he is only doing it for the money and he doesn't matha tek Or anything at their events and he just sings and plays harmonium to whatever they give him to play. Today I went to a narakdhari gurudwara with him the atmosphere there was pretty normal there were some aunties and few men and children my cousin was playing the harmonium and was singing the nirankari shabad they asked him to of course we don't do any matha tek . Is it ok to perform at such events for some money if you don't believe in it.

However, nobody is “native” to the Americas, Asia, or Europe. We’re all descendants of immigrants and conquerors. Some of our ancestors were just more evil than others.
Since nobody is “native” to any land outside of where Homosapians branched away from Homoerectus. Then anybody who isn’t of pure Ethiopian descent should be considered an immigrant.
I understand what people are trying to say, that the colonization of the Americas was displacement and genocide. Which is absolutely true, it was.
