I just started working on my UX portfolio. I’m in the process of adding my first case study project. I’m looking for a summer internship… I really need to start applying asap.

1. Is one case study project enough for me to start applying to UI/UX/web design internships? Or do I need to add another project? If I add another one, it may take around 2 weeks.
   
2. Does the app’s design have to be perfect? I designed an extension for iMessage, not an app. And the text does not match the correct font and there are some other inconsistencies. I was wondering if it really matters? Or is it just the design of the extension that matters?
   
3. Do I need to use all design tools? I heard it’s important to showcase a user story and flow. The problem is I don’t know how to make a user flow for an app extension.
   
4. For the wire framing, do I need to show a sketch of every frame in the hi-fidelity prototype.

I feel very unwell. My boyfriend and I got into a fight today. I can’t even really say I know what it was about but I know I caused it. I can’t just let things go. My head always tells me that’s there’s something wrong, even when there isn’t. If someone’s tone changes- even in the slightest- I dwell on it even when they tell me there is nothing causing it. Those are the days I seem to be able to workout consistently. I get to work and leave on time. I’m confident-almost cocky. I spend money on things I later regret when I’m sad. Though, those days aren’t necessarily easier. I can’t seem to keep my mind straight. I start one task and finish another from a week before. I start spontaneous projects at late hours of the night. I decide to change my appearance. My psychiatrist will call me next week and ask how things are going. Like always, I’ll tell him I’m fine and he’ll move on to the next patient who needs his services more than I do. Even to him I’ll feel the need to apologize.
I know my boyfriend and I are fine, but the urge to text him and ask for the 100th time today whether we’re ok and he still loves me is crippling. I know that if I keep doing this I’ll destroy us and everything else around me. Just like I have in the past.

Book is about an self righteous evangelical preteen who picks up a Darwin book and slowly deconstructs her faith and becomes aware of how fucked her religion is.
Book starts of with this (baptist? Pentecostal?) girl being very judgemental towards everyone till she invites her friend over to one of her church’s “hell” plays and has a ton of secondhand embarrassment that sort of wakes her up.
I remember the climax of the book being her parents finding her book and her “exorcism” where the pastor comes to pray out all the rebellious energy out of her. It’s a traumatic enough that she stops being outwardly rebellious.
The book ends with her going back to bible quizzing and a quote at the end of the book that went something like “they could put me on a table, cut me open and dissect me and they still wouldn’t know a thing about me”
Final scene is her mom yelling at her pregnant sister who just came back home to live with them

Every now and then I tinker with this Amphibia (2416B movement) to see if I can get it running again. The other day it was ticking, and I wore it for about 16 hours, then it stopped again randomly. (The watch isn't old, I just got it last February, brand new). It sort of consistently does this - sometimes it runs for ten seconds, sometimes for ten hours, but it always stops, despite winding.
When I open it up, I notice that if it's not running, and I tweak the balance wheel, it oscillates weakly for a few seconds and then stops - but it stops SUDDENLY, like it's oscillating then comes to a dead stop. It doesn't oscillate more and more weakly until there's just no motion left, it just comes to a dead stop once the amplitude drops below a certain point.
If I put just a tiny bit of pressure onto the powertrain, the amplitude ramps right up and it keeps running as long as I maintain a bit of pressure on the powertrain.
Am I right in thinking the balance is the culprit here? In a properly functioning watch, should that balance be free enough to stay in motion until it runs right out of energy from the hairspring?
I'm willing to try disassembling this watch but I'm thinking it might need a complete clean and re-lubricate, so I'd need to get oils and oilers and a hand puller and all that. Just wondering if I'm right in thinking the balance itself, probably not the powertrain, is the issue? I don't see any wobble in the balance when it is running, though, so I don't think the balance staff is bent.

My cortisol levels are very low in the afternoon and in the evening and I was prescribed hydrocortisone for that.
But I do know I would be treating only a symptom, with the root cause being the benzo influence on the HPA axis.
The thing is: I present lots of symptoms of glutamate excess to the degree of a moderate case of autism (even if I probably already am naturally autistic but I didn't use to experience what I am going through now): I can't watch TV, it's uncomfortable and feels like it's too much stimuli, it's exhausting and makes my right temple area of the brain feels like burning. I yawn a lot after, as if I was going through a cooldown proccess after such exposures.
What calls my attention is that in the morning, when my cortisol levels are higher, I am much less uncomfortable watching TV. Also, when I experimented adrenal cortex extracts to increase cortisol, I experienced extra energy for these stuff with lots of stimuli.
This makes me think: does cortisol also have the function of moping up excess glutamate? I wonder how much who suffer with sensory overload have adrenal fatigue/dysfunction or lower cortisol levels. Mine in the afternoon and in the night are below the standard lower boundaries and it's when screens bothers me the most.
So, if my cortisol levels were normal, I would not experience this symptom? Does cortisol do something to control the glutamate?
And I do not have Addison's disease nor primary or secundary insufficiency.
Your thoughts and experiences on this are welcomed.

I have a 23 camry trd. I would like to put in a universal custom shift knob but not sure how to take off the old one. The new one has some small screws that hold it in place, but I don't know what the original uses. How do I take off the original one? I've searched YouTube and found one helpful video but it's a straight replacement, just the same knob as the og.

Hello reddit, I thought i'd ask for some thoughts on what I should do.
I've (f27) gone on three dates in one week with someone (m32), all that I think went well. I'm, I think, not the social norm when it comes to feelings and I'm inexperienced in dating. I immediately know if I like someone or not in general and especially so romantically. I've never been in an actual relationship before and I can count the number of people I've ever been interested in on one hand. I don't do the dating around with multiple people and don't plan to start to.
I like this guy. I'm surprised at how impatient I feel about wanting to date. I read a lot of posts online where something like a month of dates before talking DTR seems pretty normal. I haven't done this date to relationship thing before so help!
Option 1: Wait a month or so of more dates? I can wait, I have patience. I like that we're getting to know each other and I'm not naive about our potential differences. I can go slow! Ironically when I've tried to go on dates before, I'm usually the one asking to go slow.
Option 2: Be upfront and broach the topic of what we're looking for next time we meet in person? I'm big on honesty and usually I opt for just telling the truth the best I can and going from there. But, I also know I can come off intense/intimidating in general and I don't know how to navigate this and it hasn't been that much time! Also, we're both reserved (he's from the uk) and (honestly) awkward people (I'd call myself a nerd who happened to be attractive) so I don't know if we're both just being polite with each other or what! My old gaming PC motherboard fried, was 10 years old so well past its prime. Until I save for a new gaming PC, i purchased a cheap DELL desk top just so I have a desktop to use in the meantime.
I tried booting up the new computer with old samsung SSD harddrive, but it wouldn't boot. I figured out why, something with the software. Which is fine. I booted up new PC with new harddrive, and put my old Sasmsung SSD as secondary, it reads it fine, and I see all files there.
Let me first say i tried logging into what i thought was my Firefox account thinking it would have been synced and saved all my Passwords and bookmarks, and it either wasn't synced or I somehow don't recall which account I used. whomp whomp...
When open firefox from old HD it opens as if its from the NEW PC, fresh with no info. I tried to copy and paste files over from old HD to new and that didn't work. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I'm hoping to find some help. I have done hours of research online trying to fix this problem, and nothing has helped. Every time I play Skyrim SE, it minimizes all my open windows. I use a dual monitor. Alt-tabbing out will maximize all the windows as they were before launching the game, but as soon as I click back into the game, they minimize again. I have tried making the game open as windowed or borderless and I can't get those to even work. It still always opens as fullscreen. I have tried messing with settings in game and on my computer. I have tried the SSE Display Tweaks mod. Absolutely nothing works. Has anyone experienced this and know how to fix it? I use dual monitors so I can still watch videos on my second monitor while playing games, so it's super annoying that my second monitor is completely useless when I play Skyrim SE. I have Windows 10. I have this friend I've known for like 20 years and I haven't seen her for a few years. We just randomly crossed paths recently. Anyway I find out that her boyfriend is a guy I met through one of my good buddies and I actually liked him because he was funny and was in a good mood every time I saw him. I spoke highly of this guy and my opinions of him were positive. Never spoke one bad word of his character.
