Hello and happy Friday everyone! Like the title says just looking to chit chat whenever no pressure at all. If you feel up to chatting cool can be short or long term and if you feel like ghosting after no worries. It’s Friday and nice out so figured I’d have some drinks and thought why not make a post out and see what everyone is up to. I’m married with kids and between work, home and sports having a social life can be a little difficult. So that’s why I’m here on Reddit. Some of my hobbies include working on cars, gaming online, and having fun outside. I’m happy to tell a corny dad joke or share some pics of my adorable pets or a selfie if you ask nicely lol. If you're looking for some prop bets tonight, specifically NHL props you may want to take a look at Andrei Kuzmenko props.
The Russian dynamo enters tonight’s contest over his points prop in 7 of his last 10 and 4 of his last 5. Kuzmenko has done well on his prop all year going over in 31 of 52 games played where a prop was offered which is good for a 59.6% over percentage this year. Outside of a rough stretch of 3 games between March 18th-21st where he went pointless, Kuzmenko has registered a point in 15 of the other 17 games since the middle of February. Over his last 4 games, Kuzmenko has registered 7 points including 3 multi point efforts while firing 7 shots on net. His shots per game over his last 5 is right around his season average at 1.8 per game. Kuzmenko is averaging 0.9 points per game this year and has gone over 0.5 points in 57.5% of his games.
Playing Calgary tonight, in 2 games played where a bet was offered this year Kuzmenko has gone over his prop in 1 of those games registering a single point. The Flames aren’t the greatest matchup tonight as they rank 14th in goals allowed this year (3.05) and have good shot suppressing numbers ranking 3rd in shots against (27.4). They’ve been pretty good in their last 3 allowing a total of 7 goals but have allowed 32 shots per game over that same span. Although they’ve tightened up a bit, the Flames allowed 6 and 8 goals to the Kings and Stars only a short while ago so a pitiful defensive performance is not out of the question for Calgary.
The Flames are expected to start former Canucks goalie Jacob Markstrom who hasn’t been at his best by any means this year. On the year, Markstrom has a 21-20-10 record with a 2.94 GAA and .892 save percentage. Aside from a win against the Kings the other night where he allowed 1 goal and had a .970 save percentage, Markstrom has below a .907 save percentage in 7 of his last 9 starts. This stretch includes 2 abysmal games in those high scoring matchups vs the Stars and Kings a few weeks ago where he had a .769 save percentage. Markstrom has allowed 3+ goals in 4 of his last 5 games started.
The Canucks don’t get to 7-2-1 in their last 10 without being potent offensively and the numbers back that up. 10th in goals (3.38) and 22nd in shots (30.2) per game this year, they’ve ridden their high-powered top 6 to a 11.2% shooting percentage that ranks 4th in the NHL. Over their last 5 games, the Canucks have averaged 4.4 goals per game and put 29.4 shots on net.
Kuzmenko participated in line rushes this morning beside star Elias Pettersson and winger Dakota Joshua so he should get plenty of service and opportunities to make an impact. We’re in for a heated rivalry game that should be a great one to watch.
