Starting this fall, I will be a full-time college freshman on the pre-med track and I would like to work as an EMT. There are a few community colleges near me that have EMT courses but I’m not sure if it would be manageable to take those classes at the same time as my university courses. The other option I have seen is online courses like RC Health Services, which would seem a lot more practical seeing that I could start basically now and grind out as much as possible before summer ends and then work on a flexible schedule when school starts. The downsides to this are having to drive 3.5 hours to and from Jacksonville for the 3 in-person skill days, paying the $1500 cost (if I did it through community college I think I would get free tuition through the bright futures program in Florida), and also I’m not sure if RC Health Services is an approved course for Florida EMS (the FDOH will not answer any of my calls/emails so if anyone has experience with RC Health Services in FL, your insight would be greatly appreciated). Anyways, any guidance/advice would be greatly appreciated!

What?? I can’t wait another however many months for them to file. What would be the point of a “payment plan” if I could just keep the money and pay it in full later.

I'm watching this show on Viki so there are only 6 episodes out- but wow ! I am impressed with how the story is playing out so far.
There are two FLs in this show. Moxi and Fengyao, and they are cousins. Moxi, who seems to be the focus of the story, was born from a low class mother and is treated harshly by her aunt and uncle. Although because of this, Moxi is very intelligent. Fengyao on the other hand is a little more sheltered but she cares about Moxi very much. Both of these girls would lie and scheme their way to protect each other.
In this universe, there is a war going on. Honestly I'm not sure which side is the good side (if there even is one), but the MLs are on different sides of the war. From this premise, you could kind of guess how this story will play out.
Reading the comments on MDL, it seems like the show is deviating from the book it's based on which it seems like a good thing. One difference is that the ML Chen WenDe is a lot more likable and nicer in the show than the book.
I'll say- if you decide to watch this show, just know that the first like 5-10 minutes is the FL daydreaming and after you get past that part, the show gets a lot better.
What's really the selling point for me is the characters and how they interact with each other. Moxi is smart, charming, and is extremely protective of Fengyao. I really enjoy watching Zhang Nan (actress of Moxi)- and she has a lot of chemistry with all of the MLs as well.
It's also interesting that Chen WenDe is such a vague character. As in you can't really tell if he's bad or not. It gives me the vibes of the emperor in Story of Yanxi. Like as much as I kinda didn't like him- he was also pretty charismatic.
On the other hand, Wan JiaGui (the other ML) is the type of character that you know is 'good'. He's educated, from a good family, a soldier- It's just really cool to see all these different types of people interact in the ways they do.
I'm really excited to see how this story progresses and I hope more people will check it out as well !

For context, I (37F) and my husband M (38M) have been married for 18 years and have been poly for 10 years on and off. My husband and I don't have any Poly or open marriage friends or are even involved in any groups so I don't have anyone to talk to about this. We have solely been living this lifestyle based on our hearts, we haven't really discussed this with anyone so I'm not sure what we did wrong.
We have been on and off seeing our partner V (55F) for the last 6 years. We have always been publicly open with the world and our family about having her as our girlfriend and partner. My husband and I have two kids and they have met and love her as another mother. Everything was going well a few years ago, we talked about having a wedding ceremony and moving in together. At the time she decided she didn't want to move from Jacksonville, FL where she lives to Texas where we live so we ended up splitting up for several years.
She was/is married and from what she's said he's abusive (mentally/emotionally) and was afraid to walk away due to them having children (currently 21&24). We recently reconnected 2 months ago after several years of not speaking with her reaching out, saying she has changed and is ready to move forward. We have been talking since she reached out, but she still hasn't left her husband and has not told anyone about us or being poly. We are a secret in her life while we are very open about her. We give her everything she needs and try our best to make her feel included even though she is 1000 miles away. Recently she asked M if he would be willing to divorce me so that they could get legally married. M stated he wasn't comfortable divorcing me but would be willing to have a wedding ceremony, add her to our bank accounts.. essentially everything that happens when you get married except without the legal document. She wasn't happy that M said he wouldn't divorce me and stated she wanted a legal paper commitment before she blows up her whole life to move down to Texas to be with us. She is in therapy and abuse class, so she's working on herself but said it was a trigger for her that we said no to the divorce. This ended up being a huge then and her yelling at us about how we don't truly love her and aren't willing to sacrifice for her to be happy. She then said she was done and didn't want to be together anymore. This set my husband off as he is the kind that when you say you're done he's not going to be chasing after you like a teenager, we are grown and you don't just quit when you don't get your way. She hasn't spoken to me in 3 days and has my number blocked but is still messaging M trying to get his attention. I'm completely heartbroken and confused as to why she's pushing me away when all I want is for us to all be happy together. She said we aren't committed to her and this relationship unless we divorce and she legally becomes M's wife.
**A little background on our previous issues. She has issues with M and I being physically intimate together without her and doesn't want to have sex as a group either. She said she sees me as a threat and the enemy when it comes to M and her. But in the same breath says she loves me and can't live without me. She has a lot of triggers that we have to tiptoe around and be understanding that we try our best to take all the anger thrown at us and forgive her every time she was upset.
I am hurt, M is hurt and she’s hurt. I feel like no matter what, nothing seems to be good enough and we keep failing. We haven't had anything as serious with anyone but her so we are at a loss. Any advice or thoughts would be helpful. I need an outside perspective from people who are successfully having happy healthy relationships. What should I do?

We give her everything she needs and try our best to make her feel included even though she is 1000 miles away. Recently she asked M if he would be willing to divorce me so that they could get legally married. M stated he wasn't comfortable divorcing me but would be willing to have a wedding ceremony, add her to our bank accounts.. essentially everything that happens when you get married except without the legal document. She wasn't happy that M said he wouldn't divorce me and stated she wanted a legal paper commitment before she blows up her whole life to move down to Texas to be with us. She is in therapy and abuse class, so she's working on herself but said it was a trigger for her that we said no to the divorce. This ended up being a huge then and her yelling at us about how we don't truly love her and aren't willing to sacrifice for her to be happy. She then said she was done and didn't want to be together anymore. This set my husband off as he is the kind that when you say you're done he's not going to be chasing after you like a teenager, we are grown and you don't just quit when you don't get your way. She hasn't spoken to me in 3 days and has my number blocked but is still messaging M trying to get his attention. I'm completely heartbroken and confused as to why she's pushing me away when all I want is for us to all be happy together. She said we aren't committed to her and this relationship unless we divorce and she legally becomes M's wife.

Met when we were in HighSchool, we never actually dated but we had some kisses in between classes during the whole senior year, he always said he loved me but I never actually dated him, I was supposed to go out of the country and never rejected him/dated him.
During senior year, I met someone online and dated him for 4 years. That relationship was a complete mess, when we were long-distance I used to send him monthly money for rent/living expenses because he always told me he was in an awful situation and it was true. After 3 and a half years I went to his home-country and visited him, met him and agreed on living together in my home-country. We lived together for 4 months; me paying for every single thing since the beginning. For a little bit of context: my parents are not rich but they build together a business and started having good money with the government and national teams at around that time, and I had no trouble paying for anyone’s stuff since I grew up middle class and everyone I knew was in college or with little to no income, I was always used to paying for everything even with friend groups, pretty much it has been always me.
Back into theme, he had a tough background since his parents didn’t look out for him, his mom being an alcoholic and his dad abandoning him, and he didn’t have any education or the will to find a job, and for some reason I thought that would change someday and ended up paying for everything the whole 4 years.
At the end, we moved to a new country country together. Again, me paying for everything and trying my best for him to change and contribute, but it didn’t work out because of many reasons but he hitting me was my last straw.
I left him in the country we were living in, giving him the option to return to his home-country, me giving him the plane ticket and some pocket money to survive some months, he said no.

Ever since we started going out, I’ve always paid for everything, every single going out to eat, every single going to the movies, whatever, always me suggesting and he agreeing and having an amazing time together.
I’m currently working since I never particularly liked studying and had the privilege of my parents situation, also landed an amazing job as a bilingual and I make pretty good money by myself.
He’s pretty middle class, his mom has never worked, his dad makes half of the money that I make and he’s in community college studying something he might not be good at. However, he’s amazing and we’ve had an amazing relationship. I have a problem with anger issues since my family might be comfortable economically but we’re all struggling with fighting a lot. I’ve never particularly had a fight with my boyfriend or caused any problems becase he’s very gentle and understanding.
But when we first started dating I told him about my last relationship and how I wanna get married, travel, and do a bunch of stuff and how I was hesitant of dating someone again because I don’t wanna be the only one doing everything and how I date to marry. He begged me to be with him until I decided I liked being around him, so I thought what’s wrong? And started officially being a couple. I do love him, but now we have a year together and we talked several times about how I’m getting tired of paying for everything and how I would appreciate if things were different.
Don’t get me wrong, I know he tries his best. He’s stopped eating in college to avoid spending the pocket money his dad gives him and use it to give me anniversary gifts/birthday presents. He’s never missed a special date and sometimes when we go out he buys the drinks/pays for the uber, things like that.
But lately I’ve been thinking about how much I’m spending, and he knows that I somehow compare him to my last relationship and how I think I’m running out of time. I got him a motorcycle so he could take me places and he could stop taking that 40-min walk to college. My parents have chauffeurs and one SUV which I usually use, but my parents never agreed on me picking him up, paying for everything all the time and it’s even a joke in my family that I am the “man” of every relationship I’m in. They love him because he’s funny and super kind, but my mom got really mad about me buying him the motorcycle, so we agreed that he would pay me in installments half of the motorcycle once a month. So to make that payments he started working… with my parents company in a totally made-up position my parents made just for him to work on the days he’s not in college, being superr flexible with schedule and paying him the full work day even if he works 6 hours… Which makes me feel like even if he’s working it’s kind of like… my parents money? Idk
I don’t wanna break up with him but everytime I think about the future I get overwhelmed because even with that job with my parents he makes roughly 200$ a week and I make $1,000. So when he pays me, he has 0 money left and its the same thing: me paying. Because it would be not going out at all because he has no money because he paid me and I have to pay for everything because I don’t want to be at home on the weekends and also do funny to our memories. Also his college has a bad reputation of people graduating after 10 years in the career because since it’s a government college they shut down when there’s riots caused by the students which happens pretty often. I checked the input folders and they each contain training images. I am running on default parameters using a U-Net model. Me (22F) and my current boyfriend (19M) met when we were in HighSchool, we never actually dated but we had some kisses in between classes during the whole senior year, he always said he loved me but I never actually dated him, I was supposed to go out of the country and never rejected him/dated him.
During senior year, I met someone online and dated him for 4 years. That relationship was a complete mess, when we were long-distance I used to send him monthly money for rent/living expenses because he always told me he was in an awful situation and it was true. After 3 and a half years I went to his home-country and visited him, met him and agreed on living together in my home-country. We lived together for 4 months; me paying for every single thing since the beginning. For a little bit of context: my parents are not rich but they build together a business and started having good money with the government and national teams at around that time, and I had no trouble paying for anyone’s stuff since I grew up middle class and everyone I knew was in college or with little to no income, I was always used to paying for everything even with friend groups, pretty much it has been always me.
Back into theme, he had a tough background since his parents didn’t look out for him, his mom being an alcoholic and his dad abandoning him, and he didn’t have any education or the will to find a job, and for some reason I thought that would change someday and ended up paying for everything the whole 4 years.
At the end, we moved to a new country country together. Again, me paying for everything and trying my best for him to change and contribute, but it didn’t work out because of many reasons but he hitting me was my last straw.
I left him in the country we were living in, giving him the option to return to his home-country, me giving him the plane ticket and some pocket money to survive some months, he said no.
I returned to living with my parents to my home-country and after 2-3 months being back, I received an invitation to go out and my current boyfriend was going. Starting that day we started dating and after a couple of months, on June last year our official relationship started.
Ever since we started going out, I’ve always paid for everything, every single going out to eat, every single going to the movies, whatever, always me suggesting and he agreeing and having an amazing time together.
I’m currently working since I never particularly liked studying and had the privilege of my parents situation, also landed an amazing job as a bilingual and I make pretty good money by myself.
He’s pretty middle class, his mom has never worked, his dad makes half of the money that I make and he’s in community college studying something he might not be good at. However, he’s amazing and we’ve had an amazing relationship. I have a problem with anger issues since my family might be comfortable economically but we’re all struggling with fighting a lot. I’ve never particularly had a fight with my boyfriend or caused any problems becase he’s very gentle and understanding.
But when we first started dating I told him about my last relationship and how I wanna get married, travel, and do a bunch of stuff and how I was hesitant of dating someone again because I don’t wanna be the only one doing everything and how I date to marry. He begged me to be with him until I decided I liked being around him, so I thought what’s wrong? And started officially being a couple. I do love him, but now we have a year together and we talked several times about how I’m getting tired of paying for everything and how I would appreciate if things were different.
Don’t get me wrong, I know he tries his best. He’s stopped eating in college to avoid spending the pocket money his dad gives him and use it to give me anniversary gifts/birthday presents. He’s never missed a special date and sometimes when we go out he buys the drinks/pays for the uber, things like that.
But lately I’ve been thinking about how much I’m spending, and he knows that I somehow compare him to my last relationship and how I think I’m running out of time. I got him a motorcycle so he could take me places and he could stop taking that 40-min walk to college. My parents have chauffeurs and one SUV which I usually use, but my parents never agreed on me picking him up, paying for everything all the time and it’s even a joke in my family that I am the “man” of every relationship I’m in. They love him because he’s funny and super kind, but my mom got really mad about me buying him the motorcycle, so we agreed that he would pay me in installments half of the motorcycle once a month. So to make that payments he started working… with my parents company in a totally made-up position my parents made just for him to work on the days he’s not in college, being superr flexible with schedule and paying him the full work day even if he works 6 hours… Which makes me feel like even if he’s working it’s kind of like… my parents money? Idk
I don’t wanna break up with him but everytime I think about the future I get overwhelmed because even with that job with my parents he makes roughly 200$ a week and I make $1,000. So when he pays me, he has 0 money left and its the same thing: me paying. Because it would be not going out at all because he has no money because he paid me and I have to pay for everything because I don’t want to be at home on the weekends and also do funny to our memories. Also his college has a bad reputation of people graduating after 10 years in the career because since it’s a government college they shut down when there’s riots caused by the students which happens pretty often. I also checked the average salary for his major and its just minimum wage…I don’t know if I can wait for him to be on the same page as me.
