I can’t talk to anyone else about this so just going to vent rant dump here I guess. TLDR: I suffer from anxiety and now post partum anxiety and my boyfriend (who also suffers from anxiety and anger issues) could not give a shit or bother to offer any kind of comfort 70% of the time .
Between 3-6 months the baby was up quite literally every 5-45 minutes all night long for months. My boyfriend works a dangerous job early in the morning so needs sleep for safety reasons. So it was just me, holding the baby, up and down, no sleep all night long in the pitch black for 8 hours with no way to entertain myself because any kind of screen light would wake her up even on no brightness/dark mode. And then I take care of the baby all day. Get one to two hours of sleep (no downtime) between 6-8pm and repeat. It was a tremendously difficult time for me. I felt incredibly alone and resentful even though I knew there wasn’t much that could be done about it. Anyway now her sleep is slowly starting to backslide at 7 months, after a month of her sleeping through the night. I am being a worry wart about it and every time there is a bad night I vocalize how scared I am of back to every 20 minutes wakeups. Every time I mention it (even the first time I brought it up) he just gets irritated and tells me to stop fucking talking about it, nothing he says can help blah blah blah. And I guess he is right technically and I guess I am being annoying but all I am looking for is some fucking comfort. An “it’s going to be okay”. A quick hug. Some compassion. That’s it. But no instead I get iced. Also, during the time the bad sleep was happening, he didn’t give much of a shit for what I was going through. In fact, he bitched and wined to ME about how he wasn’t sleeping because he went on a bullshit self imposed fucking sleep strike during the 7-8 hours a night he had.
A few other things I am still so fucking angry and upset over:
When I was 7 months pregnant my mother announced her husband was divorcing her. My mom has some mental health issues and also hasn’t worked in 20 years. She was (and still is) refusing to get a job or take steps to ensure she is not homeless. She’s currently living with my 75 year old grandma who won’t be around forever. On the day this news dropped, my dad was also dumping some shit on me (we don’t get along). I had a panic attack and spent the day in tears, worrying about my soon to be homeless mother, and having a bit of a pity party that my parents suck so much. My boyfriend was just annoyed the entire time I was upset, basically told me not to be upset coldly told me there was nothing I could do it’s my moms problem and basically told me my feelings towards what my dad said to me didn’t matter. He offered, once again, zero comfort at all. I probably would have felt better faster if I could have gotten a hug, or I’m sorry this is happening, anything.
Another: I have anxiety and have a hard time understanding things and often give up if I don’t pick something up quickly. Obviously you cannot “give up” when it’s a baby. So I was very stressed in the hospital the day our daughter was born. Breastfeeding was very difficult, i was in pain, I didn’t know what I was doing, and was just all around anxious, irritable and teary. He told me I didn’t look like I was happy at all and I was ruining the best day of our lives by being a downer. I couldn’t believe he would say something so heartless especially after I just gave birth. I was so shocked I didn’t even respond to it at the time and now so much time has elapsed I feel it isn’t worth bringing up.
Lastly, when we brought our daughter home from the hospital, she wouldn’t wake to feed. Due to my anxiety, I tend to think I’m overreacting and am hesitant to be a bother and go to the hospital for no reason (this is dumb I know) so I was looking to him for reassurance that we should go back to the hospital. My mother who was helping out agreed with me that we should go to the hospital. He basically told me that I WAS overreacting, his sister did the same thing when she was a baby and was fine, and that my mom belongs in the loony bin (she doesn’t) and was hyping my anxiety up. Again I was fucking shocked. Thankfully I made the right call and took our daughter to the hospital (she was fine just sleepy) he at least admitted he was wrong there and apologized but I am still so angry.
Anyway that’s the end of my rant. Sorry it was long and with terrible grammar. Just so frustrated and feel like I’m crazy for thinking I’m not in the wrong here, even though I know my anxiety can be annoying to deal with. I just feel that when he is having panic attacks, I approach them with empathy and care. I also stuck around during the height of his seriously unhinged anger issues (even though I should have left then and stupidly didn’t. But he is much better about managing it now.)

- I have some kind of phone call anxiety, I need to build a lot of mental courage to make a phone call even for simple tasks. Like calling the employment agency to get some task done for my father, calling the DMV to ask a question about having a car transferred to my name, calling a marketing agency to see where we're at for an e-commerce shop that I'm making etc. I end up never calling.
- I'm quite bad at managing my health. Self-care to start, I'm quite terrible at brushing my teeth. I do work from home most days. Also I'm always putting off going to the gym. I'll go once, then stop for some months. I'm quite horrible with my diet too, but for that I think just proper budgeting and stopping food deliveries will, as a side-effect, go a long way to fix my weight issue.
- I'm very anxious about my job. I get what feels like very little feedback from my managers. Just some feedback from co-workers, many of them it just seems like they don't know what they're talking about tho. I basically get performance anxiety, I could be a stellar employee but if I don't get frequent feedback about it it just feels like I could be fired next week. Also an important part of this is my time management. I don't like to wake up and go to work early, so for the office days I'll either be like 20-30 minutes late or I'll just work from home in the morning and show up in the office during lunch break. Performance-wise this is not affecting me but I think other co-workers can get jealous that I'm getting some kind of special treatment.
- Last thing to mention, I've signed up for a work-related certification since last year but I end up very rarely studying the material and watching the pre-recorded online lessons. Just seems like I don't have the motivation, even tho the topic is interesting to me. And could really help with my career progression.
Not sure what I'm looking for here, I guess some advise on how to tackle these issues.

This will be a bit long. I apologize in advance. About a week ago I had an issue with my truck (2006 F-150 5.4L Triton 196k miles) stalling as I was driving. It would restart, but could not accelerate past 30 mph, and it would stall out again. I managed to get it home and immediately went to Google to figure it out. I decided to replace the camshaft sensor, since it seemed a low risk option. The truck did run alright, but it had difficulty starting, so I knew something was up
Two days later it stalled again in the same manner. This time I got it to AutoZone to read the code and it was a P0191 Fuel Injector Pressure Sensor, which was a bit more expensive, but I went ahead and replaced that. My truck then drove excellent for 2 days before stalling again yesterday. Of course I went to AutoZone again and it was throwing up the same error code. Code was cleared and it's been running fine now, but I'm worried I didn't fix the problem.
Any ideas on how to check for the true underlying issue without sinking a ton of money in? Again, sorry for the long post.

So, to cut a long tale short, I'm 26 years old, didn't technically graduate from high school approximately 4 years ago, and have been avoiding employment ever since.
After high school, my family would constantly remind me that I needed to get employment. I would ignore them and claim that I would eventually do so, although not attempt to do so. I'm NEET due to social anxiety and some past trauma, so finding a job is a pretty daunting prospect for me.
I ultimately heard that I had to have a job or else I would be homeless, so I reluctantly applied for government assistance. I didn't want to do this because it would have required me to report to a job agency and actively seek employment to maintain my benefits. I would have nothing to show for myself week after week, and my agent would make an effort to humiliate me for not having any work leads. I detested observing them.
Covid-19 eventually arrived and saved my life. I was now receiving three times as many benefits without having to look for a job. Everything was going well. I got takeaway every night and bought a load of Valorant skins. I was content:)
Nevertheless, this did not endure, and despite receiving over $20,000 in compensation, I had nothing left. I had to meet my employment agent every other week once more when my benefits eventually returned to what they had been, or did I? You see, I had a brilliant idea that I termed "operation sink or swim" in which I had to choose between going without a place to live and finding a job.
I was reasonably optimistic that I had time to get my stuff together because I had enough money for my living expenses to last around six weeks. However, I didn't. At this point, my anxiety about being around people and my trauma-related problems were less severe than they had been when I first became a NEET, but I had developed some pretty bad habits, like waking up, eating, and drinking coffee before spending the rest of the day watching YouTube, porn, and playing video games. I was unable to end the loop.
After a while, my mother observed that I wasn't buying groceries as frequently, that I would wait until I was out of food before buying more, and that I was constantly late with my rent payments. The game was over since I could no longer even hold my weight and everyone in my family realized how much of a failure I was. My mother's expression of dismay devastated me, and my emotions of shame deepened. It was agreed that my only value was as a helper for errands and housework, which is understandable given that I wasn't paying for it myself, but it was embarrassing to essentially be everyone's slave.
At this time, I realized I had to take action. I had felt I could handle getting a job until I had to confront the fact that I had to do it. But the reality of it was just too overwhelming; worrying about what my coworkers would think of me and that they would hold me accountable if I made a mistake was embarrassing. I also worried that this would be seen as my first step into complete independence and that I would no longer have the luxury of living off my family and instead would be a wage slave for the rest of my life.
Other options had to exist, and they did. I've always been passionate about YouTube, and even though I hadn't posted much previously, I was sure I could build a popular channel. I identified a market gap and added podcast episodes from a YouTuber's podcast. Unexpectedly, after constantly doing this for a month, it ended up working, and I ended up with 15,000 subscribers and over 350k views. I joined the YouTube partner program, and my first month's earnings were $600. Unfortunately, nothing wonderful lasts forever, and when YouTube learned about this, they removed me from the YPP and shut down my channel. At this time, I genuinely felt hopeless.
After some time had gone, I was scrolling through Tik Tok when I came across someone boasting about how they had made $300 in a week by only spending two hours a day taking surveys. I wasn't exactly convinced and thought I wasn't the kind of person who would be foolish enough to download some dubious survey app, but it lingered with me. I searched for it in the app store and downloaded the first app I came across out of desperation and curiosity.
I chose to dedicate an hour to see how much money I could make from the surveys, which ranged in price from 80 cents to $3 for surveys lasting 5 to 20 minutes. After an hour, I earned a meager $11.23. It wasn't much money, and I'm pretty sure it's less than half the minimum wage where I live, but it still felt odd to me. When I deposited it to PayPal and subsequently my bank account, I saw real money for the first time in months.
After performing some quick arithmetic, I estimated that if I could make $10 per hour and spend 5 hours per day taking surveys, I could easily make $300 to $400 per week. Again, not a lot of money, but if I did this, I'd be making the same amount of money I was receiving in government assistance when COVID hit. However, this time I didn't have to worry about seeking work or even having a job; instead, I could just sit at home and complete surveys while watching Twitch streams.
This marked the beginning of my six-month journey towards a survey-only existence. There have been some additional benefits to doing this, notwithstanding the increased money. While earning money via surveys is a pretty dismal endeavor, it has given me structure and a measure of self-respect. Now that I don't have to perform all the housework, my days seem longer and happier. I get out of bed and cycle to the nearest coffee shop, where I spend $3.85 on a medium double espresso shot latte. I then ride back to my house and settle down, feeling all cozy, filling out surveys while watching YouTube videos and Twitch broadcasts. I feel more productive and can sleep better at night knowing that I'm not letting each day pass me by totally.
I think I've made good progress toward regaining my ability to function as a normal human. Oddly enough, I can picture a time in the future when I am contently working a 9–5 job or, even better, founding a business to free myself from wage labor. Now that they are aware of my condition and my willingness to make an effort to carry my weight, my family appears to be much more understanding of it. Speaking with individuals at my neighborhood coffee shop and getting to know them by name has developed into a pretty simple approach to engaging in social interaction each day, which has greatly reduced my social anxiety. Again, life feels good.

So I recently posted a post having doubts if I have a crush on him or not(u can probably find it in my profile(?). But in the span of the few weeks I started dreaming about him, randomly zone out during lessons thinking of scenarios but I was still having doubt because I didn't wanna date him or anything. Now I think I was in denial because I wanted to think that I can't love or whatever shit, so that I don't feel so sad that no one ever loved/crushed on me. So today as I was walking home from a festival I noticed two familiar figures pretty close to each other: him and this another girl classmate that he's been close out of nowhere for the last month or so. My friends and I have been speculating that they might be dating, back then(before the post I made here) was all fine joking about it. But as I saw them today I kind of felt sad and before they turned around I sprinted away from them(embarrassing I know). As I went home I was so sad that I even took some shots of a random alcoholic drink from the drinks' safe at my home(which is unusual for me). Don't know what changed in me but yeah I think they might be dating and I need help getting over him. Give me some advice or help how to get over the guy because I'm pretty sure I won't ever have a chance with him and it's getting quite unhealthy for me.

I was able to install Klipper without any issues (thanks u/xpeng121!) but I'm running into Z axis movement issues that aren't an issue on Marlin (printer works fine there).
It often fails to move when homing Z (leading to "No trigger on z after full movement" errors on the console) or when it does home, fails to probe the bed ("Probe triggered prior to movement").
I'm assuming the root cause is mechanical with the Z axis binding. Thus far I've tried

• increasing Vref using the adjustment screw (tried 0.9-1.3V)
• changing the rigid coupler for a flexible one
• changing the stepper motor and the cable between mainboard and stepper
• swapping the leadscrew for another (also straight) one
• replacing the POM leadscrew nut with a brass one
• of course lubricating the leadscrew

The whole assembly has been taken apart a few times and seems to be assembled well enough. I've tried adjusting the POW wheels, ranging from loose (can rotate them easily with a finger) to tight enough so there is zero play on the right side that doesn't have a leadscrew. This is my first printer with V slot wheels so the issue might be there, I have no reference.
Nevertheless, since the printer is working fine on Marlin, is there a difference in the way the Z axis stepper and driver are managed in Klipper as opposed to Marlin? The mechanical issue is clearly slight enough to not immediately be an issue on Marlin. Homing works every time, so does probing the bed.
There is no specific TMC-2208 related configuration in the printer.cfg Klipper config, therefore I assume driver current is set by the adjustment screw.

I’ve had a male whites tree frog for around 3 years now, I purchased him off Craigslist (I know it’s bad, he just looked so sad in the photos I had to rescue him), and when I got him I took him to the vet and he was treated for some bacterial thing I forgot the name of and has had no medical issues since. He’s currently in an 18x18x24 tank that I keep at around 50-60% humidity and 70-75 degrees. Since I’ve had him, he’s been very lazy and it just concerns me because I see some people saying it’s okay for them to be like that, and some saying the opposite. He has a lot of plants, hammocks, trees, and things to climb on that are easily accessible. But he spends all of his time on the ground under a tree sleeping, or at night he’ll come out and sit in his pool or eat. Id also like to mention his previous owners had him in a VERY small home, similar to the size of a shoe box, so I’m thinking he never learned to climb properly? But I’ve put him up on his decorations and he just sits there for a bit and climbs back down. Is this okay? I just feel like he should be climbing around more and it worries me, would having a similar sized friend help him be more active ?

Detailed: Baby is 4.5mo, great night sleeper and a crap napper.
She falls asleep only while nursing and sometimes, I guess, accidentally, during the walk with a pacifier. BUT at 10pm she expects that we go to the bed and if we don't she'll keep herself awake. If she falls asleep, then she'll be pissed upon the waking. Even when she's super tired, she simply won't sleep.
When we go out for a walk, she will nurse to sleep after a while, BUT if th walk is longer and is time to sleep again (sometimes the wake windows are really short, because anything will wake her up), then she'll get fussy and, again, won't sleep until we are home.
We have a longer trip planned in 2.5 months and I'd appreciate advices how to deal both with the light sleep and these special requests. Maybe two things are connected..?
At home, I've always been trying to "practice" and add a bit of volume here and there, but nothing has changed. Surprisingly, tv doesn't bother her, but jawning, blowing my nose (or any sudden sound) will wake her up.
Fussiness in the carrier is especially tiring (to adjust the hight , cover myself etc then, she'll often nurse only a few seconds, then wants to get out, then again on breast and so forever ..)
I really don't know how to gently approach this situation.

Short brief story. (drunk texting rn btw)
Basically a long lost old friend of mine got social anxiety. He got it when he was 14 years old and it is about 4-5 years ago now. One of my friends tried to get him back into school all though I tried nothing. I don't feel any guilt about it though. But now as Ive gotten older, I have began to realise that every person in this world deserves a second chance to have a social life in this one life we have. Believe me or not, but I have had this thought for months, it is not just bc im drunk that i'm thinking this way.
Anyways, me and my friend have tried to regain contact with our lost friend, but he kept saying he was busy and shit altough we know that it isn't true, and that it is just the anxiety speaking.
The reason why im drunk is becuase i played football with a lot of people today and we where drinking at the same time kinda. When we decided to get back home I realised that our friend with social anxiety lives close to the place that we were playing football at, at the moment. So drunk me thought to myself. We can't just keep texting this guy to make appointments, we need to break some boundaries to save him from hes lonely life. We need to confront him at his front door. Two of my friends disagreed altough one of them liked the idea.
Anyways. I was the only one who decided to drive to his home and say hi and come in for a talk.
I knocked and the door and it was even himself that opened the door. The guy I hadnt seem for 4-5 years litteraly opened the door in front me. (Some people before this event actually told me that he had gained weight, but that was deffenantly not true) He was actually looking good compared to what I expacted.
We stood infront of eachtoher and to my suprise he even reconized me altough I have changed A LOT in the past 4-5 yars. I asked if I could come in, but then hes mom and younger sister came, and told me that they were going to bed now, so it was a bad timing.
I then talked about how important this was and that I really wanted to connect with him again and that it really meant something to me, but they where more like. "You can maybe text him?"
And that is the problem. I know that I wont't get any further with him if I have to text him. He will continue to make excuses and stuff and it is basically just not the right way to go.
Anyways I had to leave after that and I am now clueless on what to do now? I wan't to come back again another day, but I dont know if it is disrespectful or something? I just want to help him and I feel like the only way is trhough contacting him directly.

Hi! So last year, I was a senior in college trying to finish up my degree when I ran into some financial issues. Had only five classes left, but hardly any money to come by, so had to put a pause on going to college. I was really struggling - was stuck in retail and felt like I had no way out.
Flash forward to the beginning of this year, I start hearing more about ChatGPT and didn't really think much of it. I thought it was more just a tool for students to use for writing essays. Man, was I wrong.
I decided to play around with it for the fun of it. Asked it many questions and was surprised by the detailed responses, I think the only thing it wasn't good at was math (but of course I fed it Cal 2 questions, so I figure it'll develop those skills soon).
One thing led to another, I asked it to draft up a resume. Output was a simple resume. Then I prompted it to make a resume out of a specific job and its desired skills from job listings. It returned a really professional, accurate resume from the prompt (had to fix the formatting, but amazing!).
Before this year, almost every job I applied to would give me no response. With the help of ChatGPT, I would send in my generated resume + a generated cover letter. Not only did I get more responses, but over the past few months I have taken 2 offers. Two is a low number, but it means so much to me in this case. Went from making $9/hr at my old retail job to almost $45k/yr at my new job doing sales support.
Of course I had to fake it till I made it, but I've been learning the ins and outs along the way of my new job - with ChatGPT's help sometimes. This has literally changed my life, plus it's giving me more room for improvement with experience and salary. I'll probably stay at my current job for a little while and do online classes to finish out my degree.

Just as the title says, I'm a ftm (20 weeks) and I see postpartum kits that seem like a waste of money as there's so little in them so what are the essentials really, I know the hospital will give me stuff but I'd like to have my own little supply at home so I have an idea of what I'll need.
I know stuff like cooling pads and the peri bottle are a must and for breast feeding things like nipple cream and breast pads (already have due to some leakage already) are essential but other than that I feel kind of lost.
Also is it weird that only one of my breasts tends to leak and its usually either a small amount or enough to leak down the side of my breast when I'm laying down but the other one never seems to, does that mean anything?

Hello all!
My husband and I purchased our home a couple of years ago and it was a major fixer-upper. At the time my mother-in-law suggested a basic grey/white combination around the entire house just to keep the walls looking clean with every other project we needed to have done at the time. Now that some of the major things are more settled, I am looking to re-design/re-paint the entire house as it's looking quite bland. I am posting just a few pictures of the house to give an idea of the current color scheme.. it literally is the same in every room. I am not super creative/artistic so our house is pretty basic but I would like to spunk it up while still maintaining a clean look. We thought it would be fun to post this in reddit and see what responses we get. Ultimate goal in kitchen is to get all stainless steel appliances if that helps with the design responses at all.
*Also - we just re-painted our deck, so please ignore the grill and the porch swing in the kitchen and living room photos :) We are still waiting on the porch to dry and they're just hanging inside with us at the moment*

Let’s start at the very beginning! I’m a 17-year-old that is graduating today and I should be excited but I’m not. My family has made it hard for me to feel happy and here are the reasons why! When I told them I was graduating they said wow really we didn’t think you were. That broke me because I was slacking off from sophomore year to senior year but because I felt so trapped in my mind that I couldn’t escape it and they know this because I tried killing myself a year ago. I got a therapist and she told me to open up to my family about what happened because they were worried. So I did I told them that when I was little I got SA in my room by a guy my parents let stay at my house till he got a place to stay. This guy was a family friend. This scarred me to this day! We still live in the same apartment. I sleep in the same room and I could see my little self sometimes getting assaulted(like if it was a movie). I tried explaining to my family but they don’t get it they just think I'm a mess up and nowhere near my sister. When I say sister I mean the child that has never in their eyes done them wrong. She got good grades never missed school and never let them down. And I have to them because I let my grades slip I miss school because of health reasons and have gotten caught sneaking out. They have trapped me in my house for so long that I would sneak out to escape from my thoughts and to see my boyfriends who has helps me heal and forget. I understand that I’ve been a hard child but I’m trying my best to be okay and help. I got a job and I thought that they would help me like how they did to my siblings. Like, help me save money. But no I pay for everything that belongs to me. I pay for my phone, food, and dog everything just no rent but I know they are going to start asking me for some because they feel as tho I’m grown enough to be paying for me and my dog to live here. I would be happy to help but we don’t have our room and my sister isn’t paying anything. Mom told me since I have a tv I can start paying for the tv bill but I don’t use any of the Chanel’s or have cable in my room because I have a Roku and I pay for those Chanel’s and services. They got upset at me today because I didn’t want to go to tj with them for my birthday. I understand that they wanted to do something special for me but I didn’t want to go because of many reasons. Some are that my sex offender is close to there and me just not feeling safe, especially with the stuff going on over there today. They got upset and asked why and I said I just feel uncomfortable and would want to stay home. They said why do you go out with your friends then and I said I just wanna be home. My mom brought up the reason that I could drink over there and I said that’s not going to change my opinion I don’t want to go. They were calling me stubborn and all these names. I know they are going to bring this up today again when we go out to eat after graduation when my whole family is there to force me to say yes. They ALWAYS do this. I just want to be happy at my graduation and feel Like I did something for myself. Maybe I’m overthinking and overreacting as I tend to do. I just don’t know what to do!
