With the rise of AI in people’s lives, the need to acknowledge good training data has not been more significant in the past. AI, ML, and Big data play an important role in various industries including government, corporate, science, and more.
The AI market has been expanding like wildfire. AI Market size was 1.3 billion USD in 2021. It is expected to grow to a whopping 2.8 trillion by 2023, according to McKinsey Global Survey. According to IBM, 35% of companies are already using AI and 45% of companies are exploring AI to adopt them in the future.
Even though AI and ML are quite a buzzing topic nowadays, the “thing” that fuels AI and ML remains under the shadow. AI Training data is something that trains the AI to function in the manner it should. And the quality of data matters a lot in this respect.
In this blog, we’ll explore the evolution of AI training dataset, understand what qualifies as a quality dataset, and dive into its past, present, and future.

What is AI Training Data? — In Simple Terms

Training data is a set of carefully curated information that is fed to a system for training. The quality of training data fed to any system determines the AI’s success. Better quality data means better intelligence of the computer or system.
While training any data, loads of information are fed to the system. For example, for teaching the system about cats, a whole lot of cat images, videos, characteristic info, etc will be provided to the system. So, when the system encounters any such information or visuals about a cat, it understands that it’s a cat, and provides more information about the cat from its database if needed.
This also means that the data must be so accurate and diversified, that the system must not confuse every four-legged animal as a cat.
So, AI training data is like training a child. Kids are taught language by labeling A, B, C, D, etc. Similarly, the Machine is also trained about the information by feeding data to it.

What is the Definition of AI Training Data?

A collection of labeled data fed into the machine-learning algorithm to enable it to make accurate predictions is called AI training data. On the basis of the data, the ML system tries to identify, recognize, and understand the relations between different components and make necessary decisions by evaluating them.
So, for enhancing the overall quality of machine learning, the data fed to it must be both in large quantity and good quality. The data must be unbiased, diversified, and valuable. Also, it needs to be well-structured, annotated, and labeled training data.

The Three Phases of AI Training Data

Let’s dive into the timeline of AI Training data evolution.

The beginning phase of AI Training Data

The beginning phase of AI Training data was sans Machine learning. That is, humans (programmers) manually created new rules to create accurate module outputs by evaluating the existing module outputs. This was the 1990s.
During 2000–2005, Machine learning began to rise. The first major database was created, which was not very efficient. It was slow and expensive and relied on the resources.
From 2005 to 2010, Amazon’s MTurk entered the playground and provided a widely-available platform for developing datasets at scale.
2010–2015 encountered human labeling and annotation. Human non-programmers evaluated the medium output and annotated data. It was this time when deep learning models came into play, known as data-hungry neural models.
Since 2015, Adoptive models began to rise. That means a system needs small datasets for making predictions. They do that by linking this small information with the pre-existing information. These state-of-the-art pre-trained adaptive models became available to others for free.
AI and ML are becoming more accessible to people other than programmers such as analysts, business owners, decision, and policymakers, or simply people who are interested in AI and ML. The non-programmers can evaluate the data models too, without the need for complex AI models.
Quality over Quantity: Previously, the quantity of data was given value. It was thought that more quantity means accuracy in module output. With time scientists realized that for accurate results, quality matters more, such as data completeness, reliability, validity, availability, and timeliness.
What was lacking in early AI Training data? A combination of poor training data and a lack of advanced computer systems resulted in the early AI system fiasco.
The lack of quality training data resulted in faulty recognition of visuals. Due to the lack of speech datasets, spoken language recognition did not come to fruition too. Additionally, computers at that time did not have good storage capacities, which was one of the major setbacks in recording large datasets essential for machine learning.

Quality AI Training Data: The Transition

In order to upgrade to a better Machine learning process, It was crucial that systems learn to mimic human intelligence and make decisions like them. This needed to thrive on high-quality and high-quantity data.
For better recognition of patterns and accurate decisions, a data sample that contains all the possible variables is needed.
Need for Quality Training Data For the advancement in AI Technology, quality AI Training data is needed. In order for ML models to be reliable, there is a need for efficient data collection, annotation, and labeling methodologies.
Quality Data Collection, Filtering, and Accuracy Data needs to go through iterative data refining steps to draw accurate outcomes. An ML model needs, thousands of accurately labeled and annotated information and visuals to link its trained information with the information existing in the real world. That’s when it provides accurate results.
The ML algorithm ML will render useless if the data is not reliable.
Need for Data Diversity and Representative Training Data In today’s world, even humans are scorned for being biased. Then it is crucial that the machines are unbiased, just, and competent. This goal could be achieved by gathering diverse information globally. A homogenous dataset will serve only a particular group of people when it is structured to serve “humans”. A biased model would be considered an inaccurate model.
The curated data needs to be annotated and labeled with diverse information that is balanced and represents the diverse population.

AI Training Data: The Future

Although both the quantity and quality of data are relevant, the relationship between quantity and quality of data differs with each prompt.
Data Collection and Annotation Techniques Breakthrough There need to be effective policies for data collection and annotation, in order to derive accurate results. These policies are needed to minimize faulty output or errors such as inaccurate content, misrepresentation, incomplete measurements, data duplication, errors in data collection, erroneous measurements, and curation errors.
There are various methods of accurate data collection including data mining, web scraping, data extraction, and crowdsourcing.
Ethical Values in Training Data Training data collection is prone to various ethical issues such as bias, non-consent, lack of transparency, and vulnerable data privacy.
Data now contains vulnerable data including facial images, voice recordings, fingerprints, and other sensitive biometric data that puts people’s crucial data at risk. Thus, it is important to adhere to ethical and legal processes to maintain a healthy environment and avoid lawsuits.
Potential for Improved Quality and Diverse Training Data With time, the relevance and adoption of AI are only going to become more pronounced. The credit goes to awareness and interest in promoting high-quality AI growth and a vast number of AI data providers.
The present times encounter data providers that use advanced technologies to derive high-quality, diversified, ethical, and legal data. These are also adept at accurately labeling, annotating, and customizing data for different ML projects.

I noticed some swarmers in my house over the past month (a few at a time sporadically). I have had three inspections done, Orkin suggested injecting the walls, Truly nolen said tent, local said inject the walls with termidor (not entire house and the attic is not accessible) There is a 2000 dollar price difference between the injections and tenting. I told the local company I would with his plan because it seemed like a good approach, a guarantee and I liked the idea that spraying into the walls will keep them away (tenting is not preventative for the future) but I am second guessing myself on the treatment approach. Any advice on how to proceed? I want to be rid of them . Southwest Florida for reference

Hey there, I’m a 29 year old female who has been experiencing some upper right quadrant pain. The pain isn’t constant it comes on suddenly (usually after eating) starting under my right rib and then radiating into my shoulder lasting for an hour at most. If I were to rate the pain I’d give it about an 8 on the pain scale. I went to see my PCP last week because I was sure it was my gallbladder! While I was there I explained my symptoms and discussed my concerns, my doctor then decided to put in an order for an abdominal ultrasound.
Today I received the results and it says it was clear?! I’m so confused and now I’m wondering what this pain could be?

Honda has always been considered kind of a brain dead character, while for the most part all of his "mix ups" are basically fake (no, sumo slam cross up is not a genuine mix up and the move is mad readable (drive parry and accept that you're -1)). Most of his more genuine mix ups come from basic oki tactics off of the many potential knock downs he can get with butt slam and 100 hand slap juggles. And while he still has his sumo stomp into command grab cancel, you can just check him with a crouching jab, so it's not a good 50/50 if you're not putting your opponent into a risky guessing scenario.
So how does this 50/50 work? It's a pretty simple. (Warning: frame data (MATH))
Honda's MP is +1 on block normally, but it's +5 if you use drive rush.
Honda's command throw has a 7 frame startup window, leaving your opponent with only 2 frames to react.
As you can see they cannot jab you out of this and because you're threatening them with a command grab that means drive parry and drive impact are both off the table.
Instead the only thing they can do to avoid the command grab is either jump or back dash out of it, but if you go for a button instead you will hit them during their start up. And for a reminder, this is off of a 2 frame window, they won't have time to avoid your attack if you just press a button, which means if they commit to the dodge they have to eat your attack.
While this does sound free, it's not 100% in Honda's favor because the risk of whiffing his command grab can mean that you eat a full combo, especially if your opponent jumps out of it guaranteeing them a jump in punish counter. Not good.
But this strategy is also completely safe on a contextual level because being +5 on a blocked attack but you're in their face means you can check them with almost anything, and only using 1 bar of drive meter means this is very low risk and high reward if you just want to press LK and see if they jump/back dash.
If they pressed a button, you get a counter, that's a free combo. If they blocked it, gain nothing but lose nothing. If they tried to escape the throw and got hit, free 100 hand slap or headbutt. If you commit to a heavy button and they committed to a jump/dash, you kill them. It's easy.
It's basically a braindead setup with the rewards leaning heavily towards Honda's favor. You need to be pretty frame tight for this to work, but with some practice you can get it down pretty easily, frame meter helps a lot for finding any unwanted gaps in your offense.
I'd recommend using this to pressure them as oki, knock them down and DR at them and see if they do a reversal before you decide to commit because that's basically a mind game in it's own right. But doing this randomly or even burning 3 bars off of another blocked attack to use this mix up can be worth it in the right scenarios. But if you're not playing at a level where people respect throws or frame data, you might just be better off spamming head butts and butt slams.

After a series of flops, Mahesh Babu made a comeback with Dookudu, that went on to become the year's biggest hit. Typical Srinu Vaitla entertainer with a mix of comedy, action, drama that pulled in the audiences, and yeah the memorable comedy track of Brahmi as Padmashri, and M.S.Narayana as Booka Venkata Rao.

Mirapakaya emerged the Sankranti winner, as the Harish Shankar directed, action-comedy masala flick, got in the audiences, with Ravi Teja his usual hyper self, the glamor show of Deeksha Seth, Richa Gangopadhyaya, working well. His other movie Veera though was a flop.

Siddarth's much anticipated period-fantasy flick, Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu, however turned out to be an epic disaster, though the visual effects were good, the poor storyline, writing, ruined the movie, as Walt Disney's maiden entry into South bombed badly.His other movie 180 too did not do that well, and Oh My Friend was just about average.

The sports drama Golkonda High School, directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna, had a good run, and later proved to be more popular on TV.

Ala Modalaindi, was a nice sweet feel good rom com, that marked Nitya Menon's debut. The chemistry between Nitya and Nani, worked well, as also the narrative. And a movie that made me a fan of hers for good too. The same pair also came in Sega, the Telugu dubbing version of Vepam, that was a much more darker crime thriller. Nani's other movie Pilla Zamindar though not much of a success on release, later proved to be more popular on TV, DVD reruns.

Gaganam/Payanam, a bilingual shot both in Telugu and Tamil, was not much of a commercial success. However this thriller shot against the backdrop of an aircraft hijack, was critically acclaimed, with some superb shot taking, and would be among Nag's best movies tod date. The movie was actually titled Payanam, but title was later changed.

Allari Naresh's Aha Na Pellanta, an action comedy, had a good run, and later proved to be a popular comedy too. Vennela Kishore as love guru Prem Das, and Brahmi as Balaraju had a great comedy track. His other comedy Seema Tapakai also did well.

Vijay Bhaskar's first movie without Trivikram Srinivas, Prema Kavali, that marked the debut of Sai Kumar's son Aadi and Isha Chawla, was just about average. The movie too was nowhere in the league of his earlier movies like Malleswari, Nuvvu Naaku Nacchav or Nuvve Kavali.
It was a forgettable year for the Nandamuri family, Balayya's Parama Veera Chakra ended up a disaster. As did NTR Jr's Sakthi, the Indiana Jones meets Dan Brown meets The Mummy, ended up an almighty mishmash of everything in true Meher Ramesh style. Jr.NTR keeps glowering, Ileana keeps pouting, Pooja Bedi and Sonu Sood ham it up as some ancient Egyptian rulers, while the audience rushed towards the nearest exit door. The movie was the biggest flop ever for Ashwinin Dutt as a producer that literally bankrupted him, and it took a Mahanati 7 years later for him to come back. NTR Jr did comeback somewhat with Oosaravelli that turned out to be a decent hit.

The other failure of the year turned out to be Badrinath, the movie set in the backdrop of the famous temple, featuring Allu Arjun as a Kshetrapalaka, tried mixing action with a religious angle, and usual comedy bits, but failed in attracting the audiences.

Teen Maar, the remake of the Bollywood movie Love Aaj Kal, turned out to be a disappointment commercially, as did his other movie Panjaa. Both the movies had a good soundtrack though.

Prabhas once again had a succcess with Mr.Perfect, the rom com starring him as a selfish guy who changes for love worked well with the audiences. Kajal Agarwal was sweet as usual, while Tapsee did well too. After Darling, Prabhas makeover from a purely mass action character to more classy romantic roles, worked quite well.

100% Love was again one of the biggest hits of the year, this rom com featuring Nag Chaitanya, Tamannah had some great writing by Sukumar, deft direction and a good soundtrack from Devi Sri Prasad.

Bapu's Sri Rama Rajyam, with Balayya as Rama and Nayanthara as Seeta, based on the Lav Kusha story was released in the end of the year, had a decent run, and was critically acclaimed. However the movie was nowhere close to the classic Lav Kusha movie.

It was a year where Tamil dubbed movies had a good run and in some cases did better than regular Telugu movies too, due to their strong storylines.
Rangam the dubbing version of Tamil movie Ko, was a success, the political backdrop thriller has gone on to be a cult favorite.

Some other dubbed movies that did well were Vaishali( Eeram) a supernatural thriller with Aadi Pinisetty in the lead, Nanna( Deiva Thirumagal) with Vikram in the lead as mentally challenged father, Lawrence Raghava's horror flick Kanchana, Naa Per Shiva( Naan Mahan Alla) a gritty crime thriller with Karthi in the lead.

2023.06.10 09:02 Heul_Darian Master Duel Issue For Konami to Fix.

So I had this scenario occur. My opponent Dragon Link, me on Dark 60 pile. He activates a bystial to my torn scales, I use Mudora to deny him that summon and activate Perlereino for the Pop. He activates I:P then a second Bystial targeting a different Torn scale from the first to which I respond with activating Fog blade in the Grave to dodge that.
Fog Blade showed me both of my Torn scales, since all of this is one chain. With both of them having the targeted Symbol, but no way to discern which torn scale is targeted by which Bystial. Tried to check if maybe I can see in the log or the Gy, but no I just had to guess which one is which. I guessed incorrectly, but thankfully he used an effect to discard one of his Bystials and he also guessed incorrectly getting my Torn scales banished in the process and he lost a special summon.

Den bedre halvdel og jeg overtager en murermestervilla fra 1930'erne, her til efteråret. Det er et dødsbo, med en uopvarmet, uisoleret kælder, som dog har rigtig fin ståhøjde og lysindfald, så godt potentiale. Jeg vil gerne, hurtigst muligt, inddrage den til "semi-beboelse", a la kontor, tør opbevaring, mm.
Planen er at flå hele kælderen ned til rå mure (lige nu er der sat cellotex-plader på flere steder), og få renset op og sikret sig at der ikke er skimmel. Dernæst et isoleringsmateriale på alle ydervægge (Skamowall eller Ytong..?). Så noget ventilation for at reducere risikoen fra radon, formentlig Duka One Pro 50 WiFi, nok en 3-4 stykker. Ifht varme, vil jeg starte med bare at smide en radiator i hvert rum, og få trukket rør til dette. Regner med at få slebet gulvet, og malet det med diffusionsåben maling, og derudover også få sat lav-profil spots i loftet mellem bjælkerne. Lige nu er vinduerne gamle enkeltlagsvinduer som skal skiftes, men regner med at skifte dem til næste sommer.
Senere er planen at få gravet ud, isoleret i gulvet, og lavet gulvvarme. Derudover kunne omfangsdræn med isolering også komme på tale, men igen, pengene er ikke lige til det, med det første.
Spørgsmål til panelet;

Ytong eller Skamowall? Ytong er billigere (45.000 vs. 67.000) for hele kælderen, men jeg har også hørt at man ikke kan montere ting i det, fordi det er meget porøst.
Er sådan nogle Duka One Pro 50 WiFi overkill?
Kan man save "nedad" i soklen, for at få større vinduesåbninger? Det er en høj kælder, med god afstand fra underkanten af vindue, til terræn, så det er fristende at få f.eks. 10 cm højere vinduer.

2023.06.10 08:44 JS070682 Should I replace my pipes and radiators at the same time as getting a new boiler?

I have a boiler that is about 10 years old and it keeps losing pressure - so I am thinking that it's probably on its way out and I should get a new one.
Is it normal for people to replace the entire system (pipes and radiators), or do they just get a new boiler?
I would like new radiators because the current ones are old and dirty, and I can't imagine the cost will be too much extra to get this done at the same time.
But what about the pipe work? I've no idea how old it is. My worry is that there is a leak somewhere that's causing the boiler to lose pressure, but I don't know for sure.
I don't have carpets or underlay down yet, so I'm thinking that if I am going to replace the entire central heating system, this needs to be done first.
Any advice appreciated because I have never had a boiler / central heating system before (although I do know how to topup the pressure!).
And any ideas of cost for completely new heating system for a 1 bed flat in the north? (boiler / pipes / 3 radiators / 1 towel rail).

Above are some pictures of the guitar, including the information on the guitar's inception.
I'm not looking to sell my guitar, but I'd like to know approximately how much it is worth. It comes with it's own case, the case is a hard black case that says Gibson U.S.A. on it in silver paint. The tuning pegs say deluxe on them, the hardware is gold. The guitar was made in Nashville Tennessee, 1993. I got it as a birthday gift for $2000, which I believe was a friendly discount. It was purchased from a family friend.
The guitar used to belong to a Vancouver BC jazz musician named Paul Plimley. He was renouned in the jazz scene here in Vancouver. And he was known around the world. He stared as a pianist, but he took f guitar due to its versatility. He loved Jazz and Blues. He owned many fenders and Gibson's. He was a big fan of the Les Paul. I used to do guitar lessons with Paul. He recently passed away, his friend is taking care of his house, and trying to sell some of Paul's guitars. So my family bought one of the LP's. Apparently this model was one of the cheaper versions that Paul had in his collection.
I want to get some of the parts replaced because I think that they are old and therefore not good for the guitar. But if I do this then it will lose it's vintage value. So would getting some parts replaced be a huge mistake? Even though I'm not going to sell it, and I want it to be ok, I don't want it to lose a ton of its value.

When the asteroid that was supposed to kill the dinosaurs missed the earth (Good Dinosaur), it created an event that split this universe from the main Disney timeline, creating a new timeline. Humans and dinosaurs coexisted for some time until changing climate took them out. Magic was prevalent in these universes, used for different purposes. That magic was used for sorcery, transformations, the afterlife, and could bring toys to life through the consciousness of the child/person using it. In the 1960s, magic and government intervention was able to help create super-humans. After some time, superhumans stopped being created and the genes died out. Many decades later, the humans left Earth due to the increased pollution. During that time , Artificial Intelligence took over the vehicles and tech of the world (Cars) for the next 700 years or so (the cars don’t really have faces, those were added for the cars emotion conveying to audience.). For centuries, the world was run by the cars (even going through their own car-history era). When the supply of gas/energy ran out, so did the tech. The last robot on Earth being WALL-E, who helped bring humanity back to earth in the 2800s. But the radiation in the world began to change human and animal life into mutated monsters. They rediscovered magic and used it for some time, but eventually began to evolve out of it. By the year 4500, monsters ran the world and were able to create time traveling doors to use the screams of humans from the past for energy. Years after the events of Monsters’ Inc, Boo tried to use the doors to find Sully. Which sent her back to Medieval Scotland, where she became a witch.

*Lightyear is an in-universe movie.
*The setting of Bugs Life is unspecified, could be anywhere.
*The setting of Elemental is unspecified too, but it’s about elemental entities, and could take place any time. It could even take place before Good Dinosaur.
*The Cars franchise has a few plot holes with this theory. I know that Pixar likely doesn’t have this theory in mind when making movies. But I still like connecting them.

[2D Platformer] [Around 2004-2014]
Hi y’all, I have been trying to find this game I used to play when I was younger (probably released around early 2000’s-2014). I’m almost positive I played it on addictinggames.com or something similar, but it was a flash game where each level had these stick figure characters and it was like a 2D platformer setup. In the game, you could click to interact with things in the level and the stick figures would die some gruesome death related to whatever object you clicked (clicking a lightbulb would cause glass to shatter from the ceiling killing a stick figure below). So you didn’t have a gun or scope or anything, you were basically playing as god. You had to interact with everything in a specific order to not alert the other stick figures and I remember levels that included an office building, a restaurant and vaguely remember a subway station level. I cannot for the life of me find the name of the game. This game was so nostalgic for me but none of my friends really played it, I believe there were also multiple versions of the game.
