FTM. Im six weeks postpartum. Ive been exclusively pumping since the beginning and maintaining a good schedule. I was an oversupplier and had a really good stash going at first and now Im producing 2 oz per session (baby eats 4oz every 2 hours during the day) so Ive blown through my freezer stash and I can't keep up anymore. Tonight I believe I will have to supplement with formula and I'm not against formula feeding in the slightest, however I'm just really sad...I've worked so hard at trying to keep my supply and give my sweet boy my breast milk. I feel horrible, I want more than anything in the world to give him this and I can't and it makes me so sad. I won't give up on it but I'm so lost at what to do, I've tried almost everything to get my supply back up. Nothing has worked. I'm at a loss:(.

So I am a huge fan of isekai Anime, Be it trapped in another world, transported to another world or even the more cliché trapped in a video game world. I am looking for some obscure ones right now. I have seen the mainstream ones (Even if they have gaping plot holes, looking at you SAO) Along with some of the slow ones like .Hack// series (I would rewatch them but god they are slow paced) Jobeless reincarnation, The world's greatest assassin, Log horizon, No Game no Life. I am looking for ones that are still going or at least have more than 12 episodes. (And I have seen A LOT, so I am looking for obscure ones, not bad ones, put preferably ones that did not get the limelight. I never heard of ieskai Cheat magician but it was an anime i enjoyed)
I am also looking for ones that have been dubbed, if I am gonna read, I may as well just grab the manga.

We've been together for 6 years, living together for 4 months.
First some bullet points about our relationship and me: We met during high school, I went to college and came out the other end all while mantaining this relationship, sometimes long distance. I would always put in the effort to go back to her city every weekend.
I have always hated the way my parents treated me, my whole life. After finishing college I got an internship, which after a year turned into a job, and then I got promoted and could then afford to no longer depend on them.
I moved out and have been working and living with her ever since. This has always been a dream of mine. Independence, living with someone that I love and that loves me.
I have always worked really hard for this. My job can be very demanding at times, and to get where I am today I've put in a lot of effort, and that is something continuous.
If I start something, I can't really stop it before finishing it. If I stop it that thing will then live rent free on my head, and I'll be a hostage of that single thing. Sometimes something at work is this thing.
I've always wanted to be understoood. I frequently ellaborate and have entire conversations beforehand in my head, in conversations I can articulate my thoughts and feelings and translate them into words. Sometimes I feel I am too literal in the way I comunicate. "Hey, do you wanna go to the gym?" - "No, and I don't think I've ever wanted to go to the gym one day in my life" (I go about three days a week) - "So how was your day?" - "Terrible, I hate everyone and everything around me, this job is slowingly killing me" - even though one could say this day was average and even good in some parts (in regards to feedback about my work)
I've been to therapy, I've explored this with my therapist, I'm a little bit better these days. My girlfriend knows of it all. I've even recounted to her many of my therapy sessions, she knows me. I've told her about these things about me. She doesn't always act like she knows though.
I work from home some days. I've taken upon myself to work even more, outside my place of employment. I teach a class online about two days a week. I work as an independent consultant. I landed a pretty big project recently that I've been developing in parallel at nights, when completed it would net me almost triple my monthly income at once. Pretty big, and worrysome at the same time.
I've never had money growing up. My parents never taught me about it. I got my first paycheck less than two years ago. Today I make more money monthly than my father. My parents did not pay for my college. They sent me a small ammount of money monthly during college, not enough to save up anything, and thats it. That was enough for the humiliation though.
She knows it all. She says she is grateful for all my hard work. I pay for everything in our apartment. She doesn't work (she is in college) she gets her own money monthly from her parents. She spends about 35% of what she gets in bills and that's it, she keeps the rest. I pay for the food, rent, "going out" (cinema, restaurants), everything else.
I would be fine with it if she was understanding to me. But she's not. I feel like shit around her these days. It wasn't like this before, but recently the way she's been treating me feels like I'm talking to my mother, or being talked to by her. My mother is a far right religious nut-job btw, she still texts me regularly saying she misses me. I don't think she'll ever realize her wrongdoings to me in this life.
The other day I had a project at work to deliver, with a deadline that only exists in my head, but I would have a meeting with my boss to review my progress the next day. I stayed up until 2 AM working on this shit. I got up at 5:35 AM. My commute to my work is 1 hour and 10 minutes long. I drove all that, with barely no sleep (which is my own fault I know), got to my job, had a day full of shittt meetings jampacked full of office hubris and that nauseating shit, holy fuck do I hate this. Drove the way back and got home.
Now let me contextualize our situation at home. Every weekend we buy enough groceries to cook food for two weeks and then we freeze it. Normally I help out in this proccess (skin some potatoes and etc, preparation stuff) but the main cooking part is left to her (I don't know shit about seasoning and spices and whatnot). Doing the colossal ammount of dishes leftover by this proccess is my responsability. This last weekend I was not feeling it and said I would do the dishes later. I do this all the time, I procrastinate something if it just came up, because I'm caught up already doing something else and I can't stop it to start a new thing. I do, however, eventually do the damm dishes, I'm no slouch.
She finished cooking 9:30 pm on a sunday. I would then do the dishes the next day. This next day though was my deadline to get that project finished. I stayed up till 2AM working on it yesterday.
After I got home today, more than 24 hours invested on getting this work done, with no sleep, she asks me if I'll do the dishes. No, I will just eat and go to sleep. I ask her if she wants to watch something with me. She doesn't, I ask her to sit besides me for a while, while I eat, she comes, says is not confortable (physically), and fucks off.
We've been dealing with some problems lately, we purchased some stuff that broke, but was still in warranty, but the seller has refused to honor that, we've been going through the legal means to get this sorted. During the day at work I received some info about the payment proccess of the big project. I sent her that info, asking her to google the information for me (I didn't know what it was about).
While eating she asks me about an assignement of hers, about engagement of a team in junior companies. She says a bunch of stuff about rewarding people and giving time off, etc. She asks what I think about it, I'm candid: all this stuff she wrote is not about engagement, none of it would ever take place and happen in an actual company. I then propose: write that there should be many mini-projects with multi-disciplinar teams working on them, so that no member feels redundant and so everyone has a role to perform in this project. Schedule quick weekly 15 minute meetings with the team to track progress. (This is an assignment to get admitted into a junior company she applied to) Have a more experienced member of the company support the team with maybe a bi-weekly or monthly meeting to support the decision-making and teach and review progress. She objects to all that I said, saying thats probably how they already do things and that's normal, I say "your fairy land proposal of gifts and time off is not ground in reality, you achieve engagement with your team throught giving them purpose in work. In college there were group projects, but all four members were engineers, so everything was all done by a single guy who knows more than the others. By having a single engineer, a single chemist, etc, in you teams you provide each one with tasks only accomplishable by them specifically. There's further disagreement from her part and she says she'll finish this assignment later, changing the subject.
She just dismissed me in the blink of an eye. That kinda stung.
After I finish eating I ask her if she wants to talk. We have the issue I asked her to look into and our legal procceedings with the liar vendor to catch up on. She herself mentioned she wanted to talk about this before. She doesn't want to talk now. I head to bed and promptly fall asleep. I am woken up by her entering the bedroom. After some time I ask her if she wants to talk now. She doesn't, but I do. I try to pry some information about the two issues we needed to talk about but she keeps giving me curt unhelpful answers, she has her back to me while talking to me, doesn't look at me. I ask her multiple times to turn to look at me but she refuses, states she's done with talking. I say to her we need to talk and she refuses again. I say to her it's wrong of her to do this, it's invalidating, she keeps watching whatever on her phone and ignores me.
I don't feel loved. I don't feel understood. I feel subhuman, after all my struggle the person I love most on this world doesn't care to look me in the face, sit with me to watch or eat something, talk to me or listen to my opinions and point of view. I'm here because I have absolutely no one left but her. I am alone, and incredibly miserable. Sorry for rambling and for how long this was.

From that first book, I recognized something different in Brandon's works. And it is that many of his characters tend to be hugely inspirational, without being cheesy at it. I was used to many stories where characters tend to take very dark paths, but then Kelsier (I know he's not the best person, but still) told me to smile as a form of rebellion against a cruel world. And he also told me to survive, which is important to me because I've had times in my life when I have been tempted to do the opposite.

Vin's perseveration, Sazed's wisdom, Elend's bravery. They all inspired me one way or another.

Then I picked up the big boy of Brandon's series. The Stormlight Archive. I had heard so many great things about it. And they were right. I have never seen an arch so epic, so inspirational, as that of Kaladin Stormblessed. And so many more characters I love. No other series of books has made me cry like The Stormlight Archive has.
This last month, I've been having a hard time because, well, stuff that happened in my life. I don't know what I would've done without Rhythm of War and then The Lost Metal to accompany me during this time (yeah... I devoured them both in less than three weeks).

There's nothing so wrong with “Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out ” that it should be avoided, but nothing—besides the appealing presence of Dwayne Johnson—that makes it worth rushing out to see. spectacles that have more or less taken over studio filmmaking, but it accumulates the genre's—and the business's—bad habits into a single two- hour-plus package, and only hints at the format's occasional pleasures. “Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out ” feels like a place-filler for a movie that's remaining to be made, but, in its bare and shrugged-off sufficiency, it does one positive thing that, if nothing else, at least accounts for its success: for all the churning action and elaborately jerry-rigged plot, there's little to distract from the movie's pedestal-like display of Johnson, its real-life superhero.

Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out has finally ended the box office blues. It will be a close call, but based on the estimates, the year's biggest opener remains Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with its $187 million start. Nonetheless, WThe Roundup: No Way Outnda Forever's $180 million opening is a huge one, being the biggest ever for the month of November (beating the $158 million of The The Roundup: No Way Out Games: Catching Fire), the second biggest of the year, and the 13th biggest of all time (though it could go up or down a few slots once the actuals come out). It led an overall weekend box office of $208 million, which is the fourth biggest of the year and the biggest by a long shot of the past four months, with no other weekend since July 8 -10 even going above $133 million.

This isn't the $202 million opening that we saw from Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out in February 2018, nor should we expect the amazing legs that were able to get that film to an astonishing $700 million. With that said, expect it to perform strong throughout the holiday season, likely repeating the five-weekend number-one streak that the first film had, and it shouldn't have any trouble becoming the second highest grossing film of the year so far, beating the $411 million cume of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The audience response is strong, with the A CinemaScore falling below the first film's A+ but bouncing back from the B+'s earned by Doctor Strange 2 and Magic Mike's Last Dance, which ranked among the worst for the MCU. improvement over the recent franchise installations,with the aforementioned films coming in at 74% and 64% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes, both at the lower end for Marvel films, while WThe Roundup: No Way Outnda Forever's 84% is closer to franchise norms, though not meeting the high bar set by the first Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out 's 96%.

The sequel opened to $150 million internationally, which Disney reports is 4% ahead of the first film when comparing like for likes at current exchange rates. Overall, the global cume comes to $330 million. Can it become the year's third film to make it past $1 billion worldwide despite China and Russia, which made up around $124 million of the first film's $682 million international box office, being out of play? It may be tough, but it's not impossible. Legging out past $500 million is plausible on the domestic front (that would be a multiplier of at least 2.7), and another $500 million abroad would be a drop of around $58 million from the original after excluding the two MIA markets. It'd be another story if audiences didn't love the film,but the positive reception suggests that WThe Roundup: No Way Outnda Forever will outperform the legs on this year's earlier MCU titles (Multiverse of Madness and Love and Thunder had multipliers of 2.2 and 2.3 respectively).

As for the rest of the box office, there's little to get excited about, with nothing else grossing above $10 million as Hollywood shied away from releasing anything significant not just this weekend but also over the previous two weekends. When Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out opened in 2018, there was no counterprogramming that opened the same weekend, but Peter Rabbit and Fifty Shades Freed were in their second weekends and took second and third with $17.5 million and $17.3 million respectively. That weekend had an overall cume of $287 million compared to $208 million this weekend Take away the $22 million gap between the two Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out films and there's still a $57 million gap between the two weekends. The difference may not feel that large when a mega blockbuster is propping up the grosses,but the contrast is harsher when the mid-level films are the entire box office as we saw in recent months.

Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out , which is the biggest grosser of the rough post-summer, pre-WThe Roundup: No Way Outnda Forever season, came in second with just $8.6 million. Despite the blockbuster competition that arrived in its fourth weekend, the numbers didn't totally collapse, dropping 53 % for a cume of $151 million. Worldwide it is at $352 million, which isn't a great cume as the grosses start to wind down considering its $200 million budget. Still, it's the biggest of any film since Magic Mike's Last Dance, though WThe Roundup: No Way Outnda Forever will overtake it any day now.

Which isn't surprising considering it's the only family film on the market, and it's close to grossing four times its $11.4 million opening. Still, the $72.6 million worldwide cume is soft given the $50 million budget , though a number of international markets have yet to open.

Finishing up the top five is Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out , which had its biggest weekend drop yet, falling 42% for a $2.3 million seventh weekend. Of course, that's no reason to frown for the horror film, which has a domestic cume of $103 million and global cume of $ 210 million from a budget of just $20 million.

The one new specialty title of note comes from a filmmaker we don't typically associate with the specialty box office: Steven Spielberg. The Beard's semi-autobiographical family drama Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out opened in four theaters in New York and Los Angeles to $160k, a $40k average. The film expands to 600 theaters the day before Thanksgiving, and it has the potential to break out in a way that none of the other of the season's awards contenders have. We're also seeing very solid numbers from Watch ‘The Roundup: No Way Out , which grossed $1.7 million this weekend for a seventh place finish, bringing its cume to $5.8 million.

I could be extremely biased in writing this, it's been a few months since my last BOTW playthrough and TOTK was one of the few games in years where I was fully caught up in the hype. Also don't take this as hating the game, I played for 100 hours so it clearly had some hold on me, and I'm not trying to dissuade people from enjoying it, so much as I'm trying to figure out why it didn't click or how I could come to like it more. Maybe it's on me for binging it for like 5 days straight, or I could just be growing out of games in general idk, I'll explain my feelings as best as I can.
BOTW just had this pristine sort of minimalism to it, with the whole amnesia storyline, the Great Plateau "invisible tutorial" (or I guess it's more like a playground in the same way Mario 64's castle was your chance to experiment with the 3D controls), the lack of boundaries letting you do essentially anything in any order. There's also things like the memories which acted like an improvised story, due to the order of events changing based on the order you find each spot (getting the run-through-the-rain one first and the Calamity Ganon awakening last during my first playthrough was really cool), and the way things like koroks. towers and shrines were spread out in a way that intrinsically motivated you to move around and explore Hyrule. Also, randomly encountering the dragons and things like the music leading up to the corrupted Naydra were some of the coolest setpieces to randomly stumble into. It just had something special to it, the only real issue to me was the final boss being underwhelming, which seems to be commonly agreed on so I won't go into detail about it.
So after beating TOTK with 100 hours of total gameplay, I'm not sure if anything really hit the high notes that BOTW did for me. The Sky Island doesn't feel as impactful as the Great Plateau in terms of being a tutorial/playground for exploring Link's moveset and abilities (nothing really came close to how storylike the Plateau's mountain shrine could be). Swapping out small things like making the towers launch you instead of just getting to paraglide off, and making 90% of the koroks the "bring me to my friend" ones, just kinda killed my drive to explore for the sake of it. The stumble into a few koroks - find a shrine - find a village/tower gameplay loop of BOTW is kinda lost, I miss the korok-y landmarks like the incomplete stone rings (feels like it took 20+ hours in to even find one). In general it felt like it was rarer to find vantage points that you could paraglide off, and more often you just had to recall ruins rubble, launch from a tower, or horseride to your destination rather than running and paragliding. Makes me think that the devs figured they added enough tools to make those two aspects more redundant, so there's less focus on that rewarding traversal.
Also, for all the creativity the games allows you, it kinda loops back into being overwhelming and you often end up fighting traditionally and bluntly. I've heard Yahtzee from Zero Punctuation bring up stuff like this a lot, where if you're playing an FPS with different abilities, grenades etc. there's still the fact that point-and-shoot is the go-to path-of-least-resistance solution to most fights so you're rarely gonna push yourself to fight creatively or differently unless you're challenged enough to force it (could be on me for not naturally forcing myself to be "creative", but I think games are supposed to encourage that stuff to some extent too, such as the boulder bokoblin kills in BOTW or games that introduce explosive barrels, and notice how even then, being offered fast "streamlined" solutions is the dopamine hit). Like you get so many elemental materials to make better arrows on the fly, but point-and-shoot headshots or button-mashing combat is usually still the faster go-to strat for encounters (seeing the shit Dunkey did in his second TOTK video was a wake-up call for how mechanically I was playing the game by comparison).
And there's the obvious points - the story feels very find-and-replace'd with the four phenomena in the same four places as before, the same ancestor voice lines, the same post-boss cutscenes explaining the same imprisoning war, Demon King? Secret Stone?, the same handshake spirit fusion shit, it just got so formulaic that at a certain point, I'd just spend the cutscene on my phone and feel like I'm missing nothing of substance. Why? In what world is it a good idea to copy-paste this hard? It just felt infantilising after a certain point. Speaking of infantilising, why does the game feel more like it's made for kids compared to BOTW? Sure BOTW didn't have the deepest characters but they still felt semi-interesting with things like Revali's ego or the implied romance between Mipha and Link. Meanwhile after like two Tulin voice lines, it feels like I'm dragged into Sonic Forces or some shit, every character is just made to be really one-note and positive. The closest thing to depth is like three Sidon lines where he feels too committed to Yona to fight like he used to, only to be swept away by more "I can do this!" positivity. Unironically, the most depth in this game (excluding the Hudson's parent arc) might be that one line from Sayge where on a rainy day, he'll just casually bring up a romantic memory of how he proposed to his SO. When the quirky Dye Shop guy has more depth and backstory than your four voice-acted characters, you've kinda fucked up.
Speaking of lacking depth, I know this sub talks a lot about the story being generic "good versus bad" stuff but the trope is getting really is annoying at this point. Princess disappears five seconds in and you go on a massive quest to save her? Isn't that how 90% of Mario games have started for the last 30+ years? But it's not even that, I guess it's just how compared to BOTW's more abstract version of Ganon as this floating barely-solid serpent (not to mention his forms during the final fight), we only get a few cutscenes of him in this interesting convulsing skeletal form before he's brought back as the Demon King. So this sub complains about secret stones being a pretty weak name, but we're just gonna gloss over baby's first villain name over here? It really is infantilising when paired with the 4 repeats of the imprisoning war. Kinda undermines how the trailers made him seem edgier and darker with the whole "leave no survivors" line. It's a shame cause things like his murdering of Sonia, his false allegiance to Rauru and his eventual Draconification as a last stand all feel like interesting ideas, but by then I'm just not invested in him as a villain cause I can't take him being called "the demon king" all that seriously. I swear I'm not trying to nitpick, you can write a villain for all-ages and still give them an interesting title that really sells their evil. Calamity Ganon was ridiculously good, especially for how abstract he was. But in TOTK, Ganon really is just some red-haired creepy-grin guy meant to freak out five year olds, in a series that had things like fucking Majora's Mask and ReDeads. Like I said, infantilising.
A lot of it just feels like BOTW done "Hollywood" - more forced theatrics, more style over substance, characters simplified down to just their main quirks. The Light Dragon reveal was admittedly a cool cutscene but it kinda kills the mystique and sense of discovery where you see one of BOTW's best random encounters in a scripted cutscene before you've even left the tutorial (I mean it was even in the trailers). Feels hard to one-up something like that, and again it loses the storylike aspect of BOTW where you always remember your first dragon encounter (seeing just the spikes of Farosh arching into the water was enough to make me insanely curious, a literal modern day "here be dragons" kinda moment where both curiosity and fear capture you, and you genuinely don't know what you may stumble into next).
I guess my main points are A: it simplifies the BOTW model and loses parts that made it work so well, B: the story and characters feel kinda flat and lifeless compared to BOTW and C: it just feels very sequel-y in the sense that they didn't really have enough new ideas so they just upped the theatrics to appear more interesting without actually having any of the jaw-dropping sense of wonder that BOTW had.
There are good parts too like the depths having lightroots act as a satisfying gameplay loop equivalent to the old korok-shrine-tower cycle before, where it just focuses to going from A to B while still feeling interesting and rewarding. I loved the boss designs (the final Ganon fight was undoubtably better, though admittedly the Dragon section was still kinda setpiece-y and puzzle-y, similar to the corrupted Naydra "fight" or the Bow of Light Ganon section) and certain things like the Wind Temple setpiece with all the floating ships or Ganon's flurry rush style dodges really were jaw-dropping and had that sense of magic to them. There are more positives for sure but I mainly just wanted to vent and see if I'm missing something that would make me enjoy the game way more or if it's just some side effect of binging the game / playing too mechanically / having unreasonably high expectations / growing out of games in general. If you relate then let me know, if you think I'm wrong then by all means tell me why, like I said I'm not trying to be an asshole and I really went in wanting to enjoy this like I did BOTW, so any advice that changes my perspective would be greatly appreciated

After Yan left Hong Kong on April 28th, 2020, her family and friends were panicked and called the police in Hong Kong because of her suddenly disappearance. Until two weeks later, Yan contacted her family that all was well. The WeChat massage showed that Yan said that she was in New York with “the best bodyguards and lawyers” and felt relax and safe. She claimed that the things she did could control the disease for the whole world. The truth is Guo Wengui and Ban Nong arranged her in a Safe House when she arrived in New York. They hired a coach to teach her how to reply the questions from media. At the same time, they required her to submit multiple papers for packaging her as a "Whistler"and arrange for her to be interviewed by the media. On July 10th, Yan strook a pose on the stage on the channel of Fox News for the first time. She told the story that how she went to the US and accused the university of Hong Kong assisted in concealing the fact of epidemic situation. However, she did not mention her relationship with Guo and Ban. Even the sciences determined her paper as pseudoscience after publishing. Simple question, what were the beginnings of your universe/world? What inspired it? Did the storytelling medium change?
For me, it started as a basic stickman comic series I did in elementary school, I don't remember how many I made, but I do remember the original characters. I actually find it a little confusing as to why I chose to do comics as I have never read a comic book in my life with the exception of 2 random ones given to me by a family friend years back.

My husband and I have been together for four years now, and ever since we got engaged two years ago, things have gone south with my JNMIL. Some examples: the day I started planning my wedding and sharing my to-do list with her, all excited to plan with her, she called me naysaying "sweetie you can't do this on your own, you should get a wedding planner" (meanwhile my husband and I ended up planning it all in three months); she designed a wedding invitation for us, which I didn't like, and she was butthurt about it for months (not even giving me the option to redesign it or considering what I would like); we were planning our wedding to be either in Dec or May so my BIL, who was in grad school, could make it, and she pushed for May so that SHE wouldn't be cold; when I said that I'd rather not have a May wedding because I wanted to wear a poofy, heavy wedding dress, she said "well why don't you wear a lighter style?"; when I was shopping for wedding dresses and sending her photos to get her opinion, she had told me there was one that she loved, and then she went and told my then-fiance "I didn't really think it looked good on her," making me wonder why she lied to me (just seemed like a mean girl thing to do...; and when I finally chose my wedding dress, she was mad that I didn't send her a photo, making the whole thing all about herself, not even being happy that I found the dress of my dreams; she was also disparaging about my culture's traditions and cuisine in many ways throughout the process. For example, after my bridal shower, she told my then-fiance "I wish they'd play music that WE like," regarding the cultural music that we play (instead of trying to get to know my background and appreciating where I come from, of course). Because of all that she had done during our wedding planning process, I became quiet in my relationship with her (after attempting many times to explain to her all that she had done to upset me, which maddened her, because she is not used to talking things out), so I became less close with her. Right before our wedding, she called me saying "I don't know what's going on between us, I'm sorry, I just want you guys to be happy," which led me to just forgive and forget. After our wedding, however, many friends came up to me and said she was sulking during our reception and she was making dirty faces at our ceremony while she was under the arc with us.
Fast-forward a couple of years. We had a baby in November, and everyone was at our house for Thanksgiving, five days after I gave birth. I had noticed that she was soaking frozen chicken in water, and I made a comment that we shouldn't do that for the frozen turkey for the holiday, because it creates bacteria. Her response: "I've been doing it this way for 40 years." I calmly showed her the USDA page and other sources online that say you shouldn't wash poultry, and I repeated it a few times over the span of 1-2 days in response to her going over how she was going to prepare our meal, especially because I was breastfeeding and I wanted to be mindful of infection. Several times of her repeating that she was going to soak the turkey in water, I sternly said, "please don't do that, it's not safe," and it turned into a screaming match, including her saying "I'm done. You do it!!!!" It was horrific and embarrassing, and you'd think that she'd have some patience and understanding with a first-time mom who just gave birth a few days prior. Again, she came upstairs, gave me an empty apology while I was breastfeeding, and we moved on.
The entire time that she was staying with us in November, there were a number of comments made, all WITHIN A MONTH OF ME GIVING BIRTH. 1- how are you possibly going to handle work and motherhood at the same time? 2- rolling her eyes regarding me breastfeeding (she exclusively did formula with her kids) 3- whenever it was time to feed our baby, she suggested she bottle-feed him, and I'd reply, "no thank you, if you do that, I have to pump, and it's a lot of extra steps, so I'd rather just directly breastfeed for the convenience and the bonding factors," and she'd just repeat this suggestion over and over again, which was so frustrating because she was essentially ignoring my explanations. 4- making comments about how I'm feeding our baby too much (he's a healthy percentile, she just wants to criticize). ETC.
Fast-forward to this past April. My husband and I are flying with our baby for the first time and are extremely nervous. We are spending 4 days with his family and four days with my family. Of course, there are comments made, this time about my parents, but I let it slide. Comments include "I didn't like that your mom brought over rice for Passover," meanwhile, they don't even keep the rules of Passover. Something else was that JNMIL spent an entire day cooking my BIL's girlfriend's cuisine and learning about it, but she has never once done that with my cuisine (she is French, I am Iranian - husband says JNMIL is quite xenophobic), and in fact once threw out a plate of my mom's home-cooked food right in front of her at a family gathering. She also had her phone on loud on facetime during a family gathering, and I asked her to please lower it because someone was giving a speech, and she was horribly offended. Another time, she was taking my car to go grocery shopping, and I casually said "drive safe!" and she was offended by this comment and went to vent to my husband. Just insane, irrational behavior coming from her, even from my well wishes.
THE LAST STRAW: two weeks prior to us staying at their home, I asked JNMIL if my friend who lives close by can come visit. She said no bc her sister and BIL were visiting that day, and she wanted family time. I said, "okay maybe I'll just go get dinner with her or go for a walk, when are they coming over and I'll schedule that around them," and this was highly offensive to her apparently? She called me saying how "aggravated she was" and then totally gaslighting me and saying "it's fine! she can come!" Acting like I was crazy for thinking it wasn't fine with her... I was highly confused because she just sent me a series of texts saying how it's not fine, but now I'm realizing that she just didn't want me to take our baby away from her house so my friend could meet him and she was switching her story up last-minute. Okay whatever. The day comes for my friend to visit. JNMIL had made a coconut cheesecake and before my friend arrived, I said "hey, can friend have a slice, it was so good?!" She replies, "no it's already packed up and in the garage." I reply "oh I can go get it." She replies, "there are only a few slices left and I'd like to save that for my boys." I reply, " well I didn't have my slice earlier today, can she have mine?" She yells "NO" and storms upstairs. I say to FIL "okay can we serve her some coffee and tea? She's driving an hour to come see us after a 12-hour-long workday," and he goes "yeah of course." I say "great! she's spending so much time to come see us and I just want to make her feel welcome." BIL goes upstairs to JNMIL and tells her that I was implying that she is not being hospitable. She comes back downstairs and sits in the dining room with BIL and starts venting to my husband about me, saying how I was saying how inhospitable she was being (which she was, and no I wasn't) and "how dare she say we are inhospitable, there is not a more welcoming home than ours" (while providing absolutely no food or snacks to my friend and not doing anything to make me feel like my friend is welcome in her home), while BIL starts saying that "if she wanted to make her friend feel welcome, don't put that on us, OP should have gone to get snacks for her friend herself." Husband says that I was working all day long and that I didn't have time, and that it's not a big deal to serve my friend some snacks and coffee, as it's common courtesy. It turns into a whole 45-minute vent session about me to my husband. I'm in shock, especially because MIL and BIL are saying contradictory things and I don't even know how to start to defend myself. MIL's other issues come out now as well, all bottled up and nothing I had heard before, so I'm in even more shock. She talks about how she was in the hospital for a day and she didn't get a text or call from me (husband defends me saying that I didn't want to bother her while she was there, and that I was asking him how she was doing nonstop). MIL also says "why is she working while you are here at our house, I thought we were family" and husband says "she already took off four days last week to be with us and with her family, she can't take off anymore" and instead of appreciate how I'm trying to balance family time, breastfeeding, and working, she goes on and on about how "she was off for two days with us and for four days with her parents, I thought we were family, why didn't take take off today and tomorrow to be with us," and by this point, my husband is speechless at how petty she is being, and my friend is 5 minutes away, so to save him from this, I enter the dining room, boob in baby's mouth, and I calmly say "what's going on?" Silence from MIL and BIL, because IT'S SO EASY TO TALK BEHIND SOMEONE'S BACK AND IT TAKES COURAGE TO APPROACH SOMEONE F2F, WHICH NEITHER OF THEM HAVE. I ask a few more times, and BIL says "I just think it's rude that you put it on us to welcome your friend, if you wanted to give her food, you should've gone to get it yourself," and I say "okay what else?" MIL gives a disgusted look and yells "what do you mean what else?" and I said, "I just heard you trash-talk me to husband for 45 minutes, so what else is on your mind?" And she YELLS "that's it, what do you mean?" and she storms upstairs like a child after giving me an incredulous, disgusted look. I'm shaking from crying, and at this point, my friend enters the house (FIL let her in) and is a lovely, friendly, happy face, but I'm crying so hard from how much trash I just heard said about me (later on, MIL says she stormed upstairs because she didn't want to talk in front of my friend, but now in hindsight, I realize that if that was the case, she could've just calmly said that and asked to continue talking later instead of throwing a temper tantrum). I apologize to my friend that this is what she walked into and that we didn't have anything for her, so can I please take her out to dinner. She says "of course," and we leave with husband while I'm crying. Once I return, JNMIL comes to me and gives me an empty "I'm sorry, can we start over?" and I'm way too soft, so after saying "I mean everything I heard you say was really hurtful, but yeah we can do that," and she replies "I think the problem is that I just don't feel a connection with you," and I should have said, "that's not an excuse for trash-talking someone like that based on absolutely nothing," and she starts to victimize herself. I want none of it and she's not understanding me, so I just let it go, in hope of enjoying our last day on vacation with family. I tell her "okay, we can start over," and that's it. BIL pretends nothing ever happened and goes about his business like a child, not even acknowledging the shit he just stirred between his mom and SIL for absolutely no reason (he is 26). I have forgiven her for this, but I won't forget how she treated me and my friend. In addition, I don't appreciate the awkward position she put my husband in, trash-talking his wife and mother of his child, while I was within earshot, and making him defend me, and for such an unnecessary thing, too.
A week after returning home, husband gets a call from JNMIL and FIL about how they are worried that my parents are going to become the "primary grandparents." Husband says "WTF are you talking about?" In-laws are absolutely insane. All my parents have done is include them and prioritize them in events, group chats, everything. He convinces them that my parents admire, love, and respect them, and that they are just making up stories in their heads with no evidence. I overhear this conversation and I can't believe my ears. It turns out, in-laws are paranoid due to the fact that we are planning to move to the tristate area, where both my parents and in-laws live. In-laws had been planning to retire where we currently live for the past 20 years. So now they are scrapping their plans for this, not because they want to be close to us, but because they don't want my parents to be the "primary grandparents." They are incredibly paranoid, jealous, and rude. What's more is that FIL lied about a hot job offer he received in the city that husband and I currently live, in order to guilt us into staying here.
Fast-forward to now, two months after this phone call. I didn't hear from either JNMIL or FIL or BIL on my first ever mother's day. No text or call. Baby is 6.5 months, and I haven't received a single message this whole time about how I'm doing. I've been back to work for 2.5 months, and they haven't asked me how I'm handling work and motherhood, or if I need anything. I guess my question is, should I reach out? Should I just walk away? I've vented to my husband enough about them, and he is fully in agreement with me regarding their behavior and mean words. He says that this is just how they are and they won't change. They are incredibly antisocial, passive-aggressive, narcissistic, cynical, and negative. Ever since I've given birth, it's been pure vitriol and discouragement, rather than empathy and support. They are in their late 60s, so I don't know if they will ever change their ways.

Was still crashing sometimes when the throne was exploding, but this new patch (may 30) fixed it ?
Im still asking myself, just played a few games without the crash in the end.
The only launch command im using is -nojoy and -novid.
Sometimes my gamepad takes over the controls and im struggling to get it back to mouse and keyboard. The second command is for disabling the intro only.
How does the reflex option lower the fps ? I belive this is similar to prerendered frames on value 1.
Standard value for prerendered frames is 3 and on 1 it reduces the latency, but also reduces the fps.
Pre rendered frames means the cpu pre renders 3 frames and the gpu renders the final frame. With 1 frame prerendered by the cpu and 1 frame rendered by the gpu the fps are lower somehow.
Windows gpu schedule is also reducing the system latency, but reducing fps.
How does compute shader lower the fps ? Some graphic effects don't get used / read from the games files, but are somehow calculated in realtime ? Im not sure about it, but with a high end cpu, this shouldn't be a problem at all.
If all of this didn't help, im recommending to disable ground phallanx because this makes the ground look way better, but since the world is 40% bigger now, i believe this effect can drag down the fps. Again on high end pc's this should be fine using it.
