It's been a month since I've officially broken up with my live-in boyfriend, 2 weeks since I hurriedly moved out. Luckily, I was able to find a decent enough place to move into at a good price but it's far from what I'm used to.
A year ago, bago pa maging kami, I moved to a new city and rented a great condo with my dog. I met him there and he showed be around. He taught me where the good food were, where to shop, where to do my errands. He helped me settle in. We were 6 months in when I had troubles with my condo and I had no choice but to move out for my dog's sake. It was hard to find another place so quickly that allowed dogs and would let me be close to the office. Out of practicality and with the blessing & encouragement of his family, we decided to move in together at his place.
I was worried for all sorts of things but his family and even the help loved and accepted me and things became so convenient that I forgot all of my worries.
Until one morning, all hell broke loose. I found out that he has been cheating on me the whole time. I wanted to take myself out of there. It took 4 months of him wanting to reconcile (without really trying as he still continued) and his family doing their best to help us recover. But in the end, when it was just us two, he would belittle how I felt, never really owning up to his mistakes.
After talking with him and saying I no longer wanted this relationship and although it was embarrassing for me, I asked for a month max so I could find a place for me and my dog. He agreed to the boundaries I set but ended up breaking them. Despite me clarifying we were over, he blamed me for leading him on making him think we still had a chance. I had enough of the emotional battering he gave and without even knowing where to go I packed my things and left.
Going back to the now, a week into my being alone again, I guess it was the stress and the weather acting against me and I got sick. I knew no one in the area and I asked if he could deliver me my first aid kit I left in what used to be our room. After seeing my condition and the environment I was in, he took me home for a couple of days so I could recover. We've been in contact since - mostly over advice on where to have laundry done, which areas are safe to move to, etc. Kahit family niya nakakausap ko pa.

This is the hardest part for me. I don’t want to seem like a creep but I also truly don’t know how to talk to women or express attraction, so I really just don’t, and I have no doubt that I’ve had several missed opportunities because of this.
My last relationship was eight years ago, and she initiated that. I’m nearly thirty now and I still just can’t approach. I freeze up, I panic, I start to worry about coming off the wrong way and seeming like a weirdo. I don’t know what to say. I can handle rejection, that has never bothered me. I'm looking for an adv. literate roleplay involving my favorite trope: enemies to lovers! I just love characters who both loathe and reluctantly admire each other. I want them to be abrasive and even terrible to each other in the beginning and fall in love and ultimately get a bit of some softness as the roleplay progresses. I don't want your sweet, cinnamon roll romance. Give me a female character who is trying to decide if she wants to kiss or kill my character. No cutesy, weak women characters. Scheming femme fatales are one of my favorite types of women.
I also really love age and class differences associated with our characters. I'm a sucker for an older woman characters who drink expensive bourbon cocktail parties and having to deal with a rather inexperienced and impulsive street kid for example.

So here is my character. Zariel (very original i know, somehow this just happened when i was very new in the game) is a Tiefling who once lived in a desert island in a small Tiefling community. On this Island Humans and Tieflings lived sepperated but the Tieflings were always the minority. The lived on the edge of the island under hardest conditions. The Humans hated the Tieflings cause of their appearance, but they have mostly avoided them becausd they were afraid of them. The Tieflings started to believe in the god of war and justice but only for the full justice of the Tieflings. Zariel Was an exception. He wanted justice for everyone. But the day had to come were war started. The Tieflings who were very little in numbers knew they would loose the war why they builded with their few resources boats to save the children in hope they would land on a safe island. Zariel was one of these children and they are actually stranded on a island under controll of the biggest force in the world: The Marine (it is a pirate campaign and the Marine rules kinda everything) The Tiefling children were taken in by the marines and raised as tools to protect the oceans from pirates. Zariel trained very hard to get stronger and stronger and he grew strong over the years. When He was a grown man he raised in ranks and made himself a name. He kept believing only in the god of justice and made an oath of vengeance to end every kind of racism and to fulfil his justice. One day when he was a offizier he was send to an island were many goblins lived. His job was to colonize the island but that wasn't what he wanted. When he arrived there was a pirate crew who wanted to protect the goblins and Zariel was very happy to see that. People who thought against racism. (That was the start of the campaign) Zariel decided to join this crew for a while to look how they act and what they do as pirates. He waspretty ambivalent at first because He didn't think it would be in the name of justice to be a pirate but he grew pretty strong onto the crew. So strong that he left his old Marine self behind him... or at least he tried. He knows that the Marine fought for justice to defeat the evil pirates and now he is one himself ,but he also knows that his people are not bad ones. So he tried to let his old self be but he coundn't. It manifested in an echo and there there are pirate Zariel and Marine Zariel
So yeah here is the Part about the build. We are level 9. I have 6 levels in Vengeance Paladin and 3 in Echo Knight. Point buy with 31 points Str 17 Dex 8 Con 16 Int 8 Wis 13 Cha 14 Feats: Great Weapon Master and Polearm Master (one free feat) I think it is clear what i want- a very very big burst round. I've got thousands of attacks with a glaive and gwm and always advantage with vow of enmity and bless. Our DM gave us the option to change our builds a little. Do you have any ideas to optimize what i have rn? And how could i go on? I want a strenght of 18 with the next ASI but don't know if i should change stats and go with +2 oder a +1 feat and which.
And anothet build question. I plan on going to level 9 or maximal 12 with Paladin because i don't think i need the other features. Would you go 9 or 12 and which multiclass would you recommend after? (Hexblade is no option)

A docu-style TV show featuring a podcaster who interviews former cast and crew members of a once hit TV show that was unexpectedly cancelled on a cliffhanger with no explanation. Revealing the true emd from behind the scenes in the early days of Hollywood.
The show would flip between present day, the past on the set, and the whole of the TV show itself being interweaved throughout the story. Essentially three shows in one. I think it'd be fun to see the old school filming techniques in the show, and to get the audience invested in the show despite knowing they'll never have a resolution. And kind of have a commentary on the reboot culture along the way.

Yo, ok maybe this is a little tmi, but I have a bad fear of vomiting and every time I get direhha I get nervous and I have very severe IBS, so I went direhha today 5 TIMES!!! NOT ONE NOT TWO BUT 5!!! And I’m tripping balls it was really watery and I’m scared I might be sick. My stomach dosent hurt it just feels like tight like air is stuck in it. Am I sick or is it IBS?

I was going though my old room and found some my old Marvel 1990-1992, DC cards, X-men, X-Force and some others. All round the same year range and pretty much all complete set besides the special cards ie hologram cards.
All the cards are in binder sleeves, there is no discoloration, or bent corners. To my untrained eyes they look mint.
Should I get them PSA (or other company) graded? If so which ones should get get it graded?

A few years ago, I used to work at a gas station near my road. Out of all the places to work, that was one of my favorite place to get fired from, but that’s beside the point. It was a small gas station that only had two registers. When you start your shift you not only clock-in through punching in/out, but probably like with other stores with cashiers, you start your day by punching into the register as well. Probably for security purposes, in case they notice an unusual amount of money constantly going short when depositing into the safe. And like I said earlier there were only two. In the middle of my shift, a guy came to one of the registers, the one I wasn’t working on because he saw me there and assumed that it was my side. He came up to the register with an arm’s clutch of snacks and drinks ready to check out. But when I told him that that side wasn’t and went to the other side, my side, that was a couple steps away, the guy got upset with me as if I told him “No refund”. It was literally a few steps away and it wasn’t a chore help to move some the stuff he was getting. He looked me angrily like I took his last cigarette or something, and walked out in a huff. At the moment, I just stood there, confused, and just asked myself wtf was the point to get that huffy? But when I look back on that incident. That confusion has turned to frustrating annoyance to that male Karen.

Basically it would give you increased curse damage, (in reference to bloody’s death) the all seeing sun tarot card, as well as the blazing trail tarot card, but curses cost more fervour and you can’t get the weeping moon tarot card, would cost two holy talismans instead of one due to being a crossover thing. (This is my concept and obviously not real, fanmade alone.)

I quickly looked through and the last thread discussing this was posted many months ago. Now that the show is over it’d be fun to discuss the biggest themes throughout the show.
The big one that I discovered recently being Kendall and water. My favorite take so far is water mainly representing the business/his father to Kendall. When he wrecks the car and the waiter dies in season one, he is soaked in water which ultimately leads him back to being under his fathers thumb. When he is in the pool and almost drowns, he is drowning in his failures to beat/fight his father and the business. When he floats at the beach, he is floating in ecstasy in doing so well in the business after Living Plus. When he is “anointed” king by the sibs, he is above the water almost commanding it. And in the end he is just watching the water completely separated by it being ousted completely from the company while being watched over by the remnants of his father (Colin).
With food there is a whole going on throughout the show. A lot of it seems to show the higher looking down upon food and people who eat. I.e. jokes at buffets, Greg always being hungry (lower class). Greg and Tom seem to be the main ones ok with eating, and they come from lower class. Also Stewy always seems to be around good but not sure what that means. Food is also weaponized (Boar on the Floor).

193-199 AC - Roslin is a bookish, reserved child in her youth, typically shying away from the other children around Riverrun and preferring her studies. She soon develops a reputation among the other children for her shyness, and cruel comments here and there from servants and peers alike prod at her. Eventually this prodding prompts her to hide behind more and more of a mask of outgoingness.
201-204 AC - The bullying leaves its mark, though, and she grows more and more paranoid that others are disrespecting her behind her back, and at the same time more and more determined to keep them silent. In time this develops into a habit of gossiping and making up rumours about the other children behind their backs.
205 AC - A disgruntled servant, fired thanks to Roslin’s gossiping, breaks into her chambers one night to kill her. She finds out about this when she wakes up to find a visitor to Riverrun, Amerei Smallwood, stood over him with a bloodied dagger, evidently having saved her life. Roslin is incredibly grateful, and agrees to cover up the killing, at the same time arranging for Amerei to become her Lady-in-Waiting to keep her safe.
205-206 AC - Bad habits do as they are wont to do and spiral further. Before long, lying about others behind their backs has turned into paying others to watch those she doesn’t trust, and rumours aplenty make their way to Roslin’s ears. She finds this useful for more than her own reputation though, and is named her cousin Alyssa’s spymistress.
207 AC - Roslin accompanies her family to the feast at King’s Landing.

My mother is codependent on me and I have no autonomy as an new adult, I don't know how to drive, don't have access to my bank account, don't know how to do anything without her because she wants to be involved with my life/keep me as her child forever, she's delusional about the "relationship" we have, (non-existent at this point because of how she raised me) and makes me take care of her emotions and makes the family chastize me if I express that I don't want to be around her. Still live in her house because I don't have any friends in town and my whole life is held up by her currently, she drives me around, she is managing my phone bill (I bought the phone, and it's paid for with my money, but she manages the cell provider's account), manages my savings account, and of course provides me a place to stay(with her).
I'm trying to come up with a plan to execute so once it gets going I can say bye and just have her out of my life forever, and one part is obtaining the legal copies of my birth certificate and SS card she has, along with an old expired ID. I didn't bring it up specifically, but she mentioned earlier today that she won't give me my original birth certificate because it's sentimental to her. This terrifies me, because I thought was just being paranoid that there could be a struggle with obtaining those copies, I didn't know that I was right in some way. I don't want her keeping a copy of my identity with her, I don't want her to snap on me and possibly steal my identity because I cut off contact.
I have my own copies of my birth certificate and SS card, I just want to know that I can get all of her copies back. Please help.

I'm currently a junior in high school (11th grade), and wish to get an idea of what to do after next year. To be honest I'm frankly quite bad at mathematics, have poor work ethic at home, lazy outside of school, and lack motivation to continue doing stuff, but I acknowledge that I'll most likely need to learn and improve on myself (addressed a little later on).
I wanna know what majors are worth taking or looking into (or some insight on those listed below). I'm no good at artistic stuff, and am not a very creative person (I prefer structure). I am taking an internship this year around being an appointment setter, to help me get used to talking and understanding people as I currently kind of suck with communication.
I am no good at music.
I think I am good at English and literature but I'm not sure. Writing is a passion of mine, but not sure if it's a talent. I love reading as well.
I'm pretty much green in everything as I've never really had the chance to do much. I like science, biology and marine biology specifically, but I'm not sure if I am capable of going into that field.
I'm in a Technology and Business magnet, but admittedly it is quite poor and I haven't learned much about businesses. I have no issue with a business major, though I lack experience in any of it.
I do like using computers, and did temporarily take an intro to engineering course that I kind of enjoyed, but I (unfortunately) had to take a temporary break from school for government stuff. Never got to go back to the class.
I can't think of anything else to outline, I only ask that no one lectures me on this and that. I just want to know some majors worth looking into, they don't have to be super high paying but I do want to live a comfortable and happy life.
Minor heads up, I've been effectively stunted in math.. Or it's more accurate to say I've never been taught it properly and been forced to actively learn rather than being outright 'bad' at it. 'Perk' of the USA education system. I do have all my math credits though.
Don't be concerned about just throwing me in the deep end with a major, it'd probably be good for me to try something legitimately challenging. If you're going to comment I'd also like for you to reply since I'm going to read everything.

I found a passing mention in a 1944 fanzine (En Garde 12, December 1944) of a department store in Buffalo, New York that rented books and could be persuaded to sell them:

Ken assured us it was only a couple blocks to the nearest bookstore. After walking several miles, we reached it. We stood looking in the window and drooling, but didn’t go in. It seems that Buffalo merchants have weird ideas about when stores should be opened. We kept trying one store after another. Finally we found one that had condescended to open, and picked up several good buys. Later we found a department store rental library. We talked them into parting with several choice items for a reasonable sum, a thing Ken apparently didn’t know could be done, and finally headed back to the house.

As for me, the “thing I didn’t know could be done” is renting books from a department store. I found no mention of it in John William Ferry’s A History of the Department Store (1960). Where and when was this service offered? How did it compare to borrowing from a public library, and was it a courtesy to their account-holding customers or was it a revenue-generating line of business?
