My wife (foreign citizen) is going through the visa process and is living/Working in Hong Kong right now. Plan is the visa is approved by January and she’s going to move here and keep her Hong Kong based job remotely.
I see Hong Kong and US doesn’t have a tax treaty, but if she’s a green card holder living in the US but working remotely for an employer based in Hong Kong. Will she have to pay taxes in both countries or can she write the Hong Kong taxes off in some way on her US taxes?

From my understanding doesn't 1kcal equate to 1000 calories? If so how can there be 450000 calories in a salad? Some cracks are beginning to appear in the recent AI stock rally, with C3.ai (AI) plunging 22% AH on Wednesday after giving a disappointing outlook during its FQ4 results. On an earnings call, CEO Tom Siebel added that the company wasn't "inclined to change expectations" surrounding its guidance, compared to the major boost that Nvidia's (NVDA) stock received following its "jaw-dropping guidance" posted last week.
Snapshot: Other AI players and chipmakers also pulled back yesterday following some impressive runups, but the latest movement might suggest that all companies are not equal when it comes to the "AI supercycle." Investors will have some deep learning to do after being consumed by everything AI this year, especially as they sort through the growing list of companies talking up how they've been AI plays all along. The real thing to consider is how much a firm will successfully capitalize and monetize its artificial intelligence offerings after the meme rallies settle down and huge price swings come to a halt.
"The euphoria is rooted in a very promising underlying technology," noted Robert Schein of Blanke Schein Wealth Management. "Even with the recent market euphoria driven by artificial intelligence, the market is sending a clear signal that artificial intelligence is here to stay, as this technology has the potential to overhaul how companies do business, which has major implications for corporate earnings."

Among the amendments was a clause stipulating that digital platforms and news groups would be required to mediate for two months before subjecting them to mandatory arbitration. I really love the guy. Despite our relationship being new, I can confidently say na I am willing to risk it, despite the distance. He makes me feel loved and happy at damang dama ko yun palagi kapag magkasama kami.
The only problem is, he isn’t good at the one prerequisite for a long distance relationship to work: MESSAGES. He’s always been a physical touch and acts of service type of guy. Talking to him on chat is like talking to a wall. Sakto lang syang sumasagot, passive would be an understatement. I even had to genuinely teach him that emojis count as a reply — and he immediately obliged naman. I know he’s trying his best, pero nakukulangan parin talaga ako. Gusto kong kausapin nya ako sa chat the same way makipag usap sya sakin sa personal — but he just can’t.
Nakakapagod din mag initiate palagi kasi ako yung tipo na kapag ginawa nya after ko sabihin, pakiramdam ko napilitan nalang syang gawin kasi nag demand ako, at ayoko nun. Ayoko maging demanding. Ayoko magdemand ng bagay that should’ve been a “matic” sa sana ldr (constant calls, checking in, chika about how our day went). Kung babasahin lang messages namin eh mapapasabi ka nalang talaga na “tangina gusto ba talaga ako neto?”. To think na he’s head over heels for me in person.
I honestly don’t feel reciprocated with the way we exchange our energy online. And I can’t blame him for it. I’m trying to meet him where he’s at pero if i’m being honest, sobrang nakukulangan ako. And I don’t know if this is okay — na di ako makuntento.
I really like him and I’d give anything to make this work. Pero it’s so hard to move forward kung pakiramdam ko one sided lang kami — dahil sa chat/tawag which is the only medium for our relationship to work given the circumstance.

Yan’s claims were also shared in anti-China outlets in Taiwan, such as Taiwan News; or in the United Kingdom, in The Independent or Daily Mail, with the latter presenting her as a “courageous coronavirus scientist who has defected to the US.” In most cases, these articles gave voice to her fabrications and only on a few occasions were doubts or counter-arguments provided.
Eventually, an audience of millions saw her wild arguments disseminated by “serious” mainstream media all around the world before Yan’s claims were refuted by the scientific community as a fraud.
