2023.05.31 04:33 AutoModerator What if? Wednesday
A weekly thread for posing hypothetical questions and discussion about "what if" cricket scenarios that could happen in future, or would've changed history in the past.
Some examples to help with the concept:
- What if a player hadn't been injured before a big match?
- What might happen in future if a player decides to retire early, or change formats/specialties?
- What would've happened to the course of historic match if an umpiring decision had gone the other way?
- Any cruel twists of fate or freakish occurrences that ended up changing the destiny of a player or team?
- What directions could a player's career go in (and how does that impact the team), based on how they perform in an upcoming series or match?
- What differences would it make (or did it make) by selecting one player to be the captain of a side over another?
Submit some thought-provoking what if scenarios or discuss those that others come up with here.

2023.05.31 04:31 abomps Help me identify this ingredient from Chinese/Uyghur dapanji (big plate chicken)!
What are these little green slightly translucent balls in a Chinese/Uyghur dish called dapanji or "big plate chicken".
- The picture is them cooked
- each green "ball" is about the size of a peppercorn
- They taste citrusy, almost like lemon but not spicy or numbing at all
- if you zoom in the husk/shell is kind of spotted
Here's the picture
https://imgur.com/HmabPrg Extra details I bought this dish from a Uyghur restaurant while visiting New York. This dish blew my mind and felt like discovering a new genre of food. I have to try to reverse engineer it as best I can! It was listed as chicken Laghman but given the other ingredients they used a dapanji/ big plate chicken recipe for the base.
I have looked at a few big plate chicken recipes and couldn't find an obvious match for this ingredient.
In some recipes the base broth cooks for 1hr+ and I wonder if some of the spices change appearance or flavor after that time. Brainstorming here, would either fennel seed, or Sichuan peppercorns taste and appear this way after 1hr+?
Any thoughts on what this could are welcome!!!
Example recipe
The recipe that I have seen to include most of the ingredients I could discern is copied and pasted below. Credit to
u/mthmchris for the recipe and detailed guide.
https://www.reddit.com/Cooking/comments/7bcvarecipe\_xinjiangstyle\_dapanji\_braised\_chicken\_aka/ "So we wanted to show you how to make Uighur-style of Dapanji, a.k.a. the aptly translated ‘big plate of chicken’.
The Uighurs are a Turkish ethnic group from the Xinjiang province in the far North West of China, and have a fascinatingly awesome cuisine. They've got a solid mix of Central Asian and Northwest Chinese flavors - lamb features heavily, the grill and the tandoor's used, and they have their own version of pilaf (called 'polo' or 'shouzhuafan'). But at the same time, they'll use certain Chinese ingredients and also make use of the wok. This dish is one of the most beloved in the region, and a great place to start with Xinjiang food.
Video is here. We decided to also include in a recipe for those wide kudaimian pulled noodles that’re often served with this… but if you’re not feeling ambitious you could always opt for any sort of thick dried Asian noodles instead.
Ingredients:
One whole chicken cut into pieces -or- chicken wings, ~1.5kg. So really, the ideal sort of chicken for this dish would be an Asian variety of chicken cut into pieces across the bone... and if that's convenient for you, I'd implore you to go that route. If that sort of thing would be difficult for you to get, my sub would be chicken wings. You could cleave them in half, or honestly you could probably leave them in whole as well. I've seen some Western recipe writers call for boneless breast or thigh here, but I really think that's a dramatic reinterpretation of the dish, and you'd also run the risk of dry chicken. Wings aren't too intimidating, and the essence's the same.
Potato, 800g. Cut into large chunks. You don’t want your potatoes to be too small else they’ll end up dissolving into the braise.
Xinjiang xianjiao (线椒), ~3 minced and reconstituted -or- Hungarian Sweet Paprika, 2 tbsp -or- Sichuan Pixian Doubanjiang, 2 tbsp. So Xinjiang xianjiao is what gives the Dapanji its characteristic red color… this mild chili is super red, and dyes basically anything it touches. Now, this chili’s sort of difficult to source even in China, so substitutions might obviously be necessary. To me, this chili is very similar to a paprika chili… so if you can get your hands on some dried paprika chilis (in China, hongjiao), I think that would be the most ideal sub. Similarly, if you got some quality Hungarian sweet paprika that should also be fine. In China outside of Xinjiang the most common sub is some Sichuan Pixian doubanjiang – you can go that route too, but in my opinion I think paprika would be closer to the original. We also got a real interesting lead on what these chilis might be called in English... see the note below.
White sugar, ¼ cup This will be mixed in with a half cup of oil to make a ‘tangse’, or caramel, for the initial step of frying the chicken.
Ginger (姜), ~2 inches Cut into slices, to be fried together with the chicken.
Sichuan peppercorns (花椒), ~1 tbsp. Added when frying the chicken.
Star anise (八角), ~4. Added when frying the chicken.
Cinnamon/Cassia (桂皮), 1 stick. Added when frying the chicken. Note that this, just like what you’d get a supermarket in the West, is actually Cassia bark and not the so-called “true cinnamon” from Ceylon.
Black Cardamom (草果), 2 pod. Added when frying the chicken. Slightly crushed to open.
Dried Chaotianjiao Heaven Facing Chilis (干朝天椒), ~15. A dapanji isn’t set-your-mouth-on-fire spicy, but it should have some kick. Adding in about fifteen whole dried chilis in with your braising liquid does the job nicely (no need to deseed them). If you’re outside China, dried Thai birds eye chilis should work just as well, or you could play around with Mexican chilis (anything unsmoked from the Capsicum Annum cultivar, e.g. Arbols, would likely be fine).
Dried bay leaf (香叶), 1. To be added when braising.
Leek (大葱), ½. Cut up a half a leek into strips, these’ll be added about halfway through the braise.
Garlic, 1 head. Peel a head of garlic, these’ll be added when there’s about 15 minutes left of the braise. Note that I add the garlic a bit earlier than many recipes might (most common is to see it added five minutes until it’s finished), mostly because I fucking love munching on garlic that’s been softened in a braise.
Mild chilis, 1 small red chili (红辣椒) and one small green chili (青辣椒). Cut into wedges. Neither of these chilis are very spicy, so you could also opt for one small green or red bell pepper.
Salt, 1 tbsp. To season. If you’re using doubanjiang in the place of xianjiao chilis, cut this out.
Chicken boullion powder (鸡粉), 1 tbsp. To season.
Process, Dapanji.
If using Xinjiang xianjiao chili, finely mince and reconstitute the chili. You’re aiming to get this into a super-fine mince – if you got a food processor (we don’t), I imagine that’d be a help. Once it’s fine enough for you, add in some water – we added roughly two tablespoons. Leave that aside for about thirty minutes - the chili will end up absorbing the water and forming a sort of paste.
Prep your ingredients. I’d use that time to peel and slice your ginger, peel the potato and cut into large chunks, crush the black cardamom pods, cut the leek and mild chilis into strips/biased wedges, peel the garlic… measuring everything out so that it’s good to go once you’re ready to fry.
Blanch the chicken pieces. Blanch the chicken in boiling water for three minutes or so. Because the braise isn’t going to feature much liquid, we’re not going to be able to skim the scum, blood, and impurities from the braise. The quick blanch’ll clean our chicken right up so it’s good to braise.
Make the tangse (caramel). This is a relatively common step in many Chinese braises. To make the tangse, add in a half cup of oil and a quarter cup of sugar to a wok over medium heat. The sugar will begin to melt into the oil, and after a couple minutes it’ll deepen in color to something resembling a caramel. For this stage, it’s important that you stir constantly, and know that tangse can go from zero to midnight real quick. All in all, it’s better to have an overly blonde tangse than a burnt one.
Fry the chicken pieces in with the tangse, then add in the ginger and the salt/chicken boullion. Fry the chicken with the tangse for 30 seconds or so, then add in the ginger and fry for another 30 seconds. Sprinkle with salt and chicken boullion to season – I know it seems a bit strange to season so early in a braise, but things end up getting a bit unwieldy near the end when the potatoes are nearly dissolved.
Add in the xianjiao chili, then the Sichuan peppercorns, black cardamom, star anise, and cinnamon. Add in the xianjiao chili (or some Hungarian sweet paprika, or some Pixian doubanjiang) and coat the chicken with it. Then, add in those spices and let them fry for about 45 seconds or so until it’s all just starting to smell awesome.
Add in 400 mL of water, and nestle in your potatoes, chaotianjiao heaven facing chilis, and bay leaf. Cover and let simmer on low. 400 mL of water might feel like a bit of a small amount (it won’t cover all of your ingredients), but the idea is that the ingredients are going to steam in addition to braise. Because of that, after you cover it you really don’t want to peek. This’ll end up cooking about an hour in total – we still got three ingredients to add (the leek, the garlic, and the mild fresh chilis), so we’ll mix it when we open it up to add those ingredients.
After 30 minutes, add in the leek. At this point, the braising liquid should still look ‘water-y’ and the potatoes should be mostly intact. Toss the leek into the braising liquid, give everything a mix, and cover.
15 minutes later (45 into the braise), add in the garlic. Now the braise should start to look like it’s coming together. The very edges of the potato should be starting to dissolve – if you eat a potato it’ll be roughly cooked through but not very soft. Now, I should note that I add in the garlic a bit early – when I was researching this dish, the Han Xinjiang guy at my market was insistent that the garlic be added at the very end, five minutes before finishing. I like my garlic soft and cooked through so I can munch on it though, so I add in in here.
15 minutes later (60 minutes into the braise), add in the mild fresh chilis. These will only need five minutes or so to cook.
Serve. Serve this with the kudaimian noodles below. Generally, it's best to serve them after you've already munched on the dapanji a bit so that you can get them all in that braising liquid.
Ingredients, Kudaimian Pulled Noodles:
Bread Flour -or- Dumpling Flour (高筋面粉), 250g. Basically looking for a high gluten content, we used bread flour.
Water, 125g.
Salt, ½ tsp.
Oil. To roll the noodles in before resting.
Process, Kudaimian Pulled Noodles:
Ok, now before we get into this, a quick word of warning: hand pulled noodle making is more of a skill than a recipe. If you’re new to noodle pulling, it might take a few tries to get your noodles right – by far the most common issue is noodles that’re a bit too thick, which I’ll talk about how to save in the notes below.
Disclaimer number two… we’re not the most experienced noodle pullers. Steph’s from Guangzhou (where there’s not exactly much of a tradition of this northern-style hand pulled noodle making), so it isn’t exactly something she grew up with. To give you an idea, about a third of our noodles we had to ‘save’ using the technique in the notes.
In any event, this variety of hand pulled noodles is vastly easier than lamian, so it’s a good place to start. Also, 'Biang biang' noodles are basically the same method, but are divided into smaller pieces and cut in half lengthwise with a chopstick.
Mix together the flour and salt, then slowly incorporate the water into the dough. Rest for 10 minutes. We’ve found doing this by hand is actually a bit easier than using the stand mixer. Add the water bit by bit, kneading and incorporating it into the dough. Once the dough is doesn’t stick to the bowl anymore and has been kneaded into a ball shape, it’s done. Cover with a warm, damp towel and set it aside to let the dough relax.
Cut the dough into eight even pieces, roll them into a sort of fat ‘log’ shape, coat generously with oil, and set aside for 60 minutes. Each one of these pieces is going to make one big noodle – this is like the noodle from KenM’s nightmares. Make sure the logs are coated real well with oil, cover them with plastic wrap, and set it aside for one hour. This second rest is gunna be really critical, if it doesn’t rest for an hour, you’re not really gunna be able to pull them.
Pull the noodles. As always, when I’m trying to explain what to do with dough via the written word, I sound like a convoluted doofus, so take a look at 4:49 in the video for a visual. First thing you’ll do is flatten your log by pressing it down with your palm – the flatter it gets here, the easier it’ll be to pull. Then, grab a hold of the two edges of the log and stretch it out four times. Now this is going to start to begin to look like a noodle. Then, continue to pull and smack the noodle against the table – this smacking motion’ll help the noodle thin out in the center as well. Once the noodle’s roughly as wide as your arm span, you’re finished. Just tear off and toss the little knobs of dough where your hands were pulling from.
Boil the noodle. Boil the noodles until they float. These northwestern style noodles are a bit thicker, so it might take a minute or so.
Note on how to rescue kudaimian that’re too thick:
One of the difficulties with learning hand pulled noodles is that if you screw up, you can’t just roll it back into a ball and start over – it won’t really form because of the oil.
If your noodle’s a bit too thick, use your fingers to lightly spread it horizontally, then pass it through your middle and index fingers with both hands while lightly pressing and pulling to straighten it back out – this motion is at 5:33 in the video. Again, this isn’t really impressive or correct or anything, but it’ll thin out the noodle and everyone’ll be none the wiser (unless you’re, uh… filming yourself).
Note on other Dapanji ingredients:
So a couple things that we didn’t add that you might see in a few dapanji recipes… (1) tomato paste (2) some other spices and (3) beer.
So right, Uighurs actually do use tomato paste in some dishes – the brand of tomato paste I buy here in Shenzhen is actually from Xinjiang. You could use half Xinjiang chili and half tomato paste to get that sort of red color if you like – it might be a bit more visually appealing, as our dapanji had a number of red flakes scattered about. We opted for pure chili as we were basing the recipe off of the dapanji of our favorite Xinjiang restaurant in Shenzhen, which didn’t use tomato paste.
Also, if you poke around, you’ll see that each restaurant’ll sort of has their own spice mix. We went with a basic one that was sort of a copycat of a Uighur-run Xinjiang restaurant we love in Shenzhen (plus Bay Leaf). The most commonly added ingredient that we didn’t use would probably be fennel seed… but sometimes you’ll see some places toss some more exotic stuff in too.
Lastly, many of the recipes around Xiachufang (the Chinese AllRecipes) feature a light beer as the braising liquid. Uighurs are Muslim though, so we just opted for water. Beer wouldn’t hurt though, so if you feel like it you could toss that in as well.
Note on Xianjiao Chili:
Again, please don't hesitate to sub this. I figured it'd be almost impossible for people to find abroad, except...
I was chatting with someone on YouTube and I'm now like 70% sure that this is Kashmiri Chili. They look really, really similar, have the same purpose (red color), similar heat level (~1k scoville), and if you look at a map that pathway seems like it makes a ton of sense. You should be able to find them on Amazon - at the very least, even if they aren't the same, I think it'd be a nice sub."

Reunion - Part 1
The reunion starts off with an Irish Castle theme. All the women look nice. What stuck out to me: Teresa's wearing some sort of train on the back of her outfit, someone had to hold it for her to help her get to her seat. Melissa wore a blinged out gown with a hoodie, she looks like a boxer. Teresa is wearing a short wig.
As soon as the reunion starts, Teresa gets a phone call. It's Joe Guidice. She puts him on speaker. He asks Teresa if Bill does surgery for bags under the eyes for his uncle. Then, Andy tells him hello, they exchange pleasantries and Joe ends up telling him he that he has a few girlfriends. This is so staged.
Next, Teresa has Andy touch her heart, it is rapid. She asks for God to be with her and Namaste. She wants to close a chapter and wish her (Melissa) well. Melissa agrees and wants peace, we shall see..
Andy asks Teresa about the wedding. She says the hardest thing was her family hurting her. Melissa jumps in and asks how did they hurt her. They start to go at each other, but Andy stops them and says he wants to talk about some other topics with the wedding. He asks Teresa why Dina wasn't there. She says Dina didn't want to be on camera. Andy said she could have signed a release to not be filmed. Teresa said yes true, and she wished she told her sooner. Andy then says he used to see all four of them together on social media, (Instagram) but now he doesn't see them together anymore. Teresa says they are all okay and Louie and Dina's husband, David had no business dealings and had no dispute. They are all good. We see a flashback this season of Joe saying Louie and David had a business dealing fallout which ended the friendship. Melissa chimes in and said Joe shouldn't have said that on TV because David doesn't want to be on any part of the show. So, with that, they are insinuating that Louie and David had a fallout and it strained the friendship with Dina and Teresa. From the look on Andy's face, it seems to be true.
Next topic is Donna Marco not being invited to the wedding. It goes right to Teresa and Melissa arguing. This guy Shane comes up. He is Melissa's neighbor and Melissa claims she tried setting him up with Teresa. Teresa kind of liked him. Teresa is denying that they asked her to go to dinner. Melissa says when Louie started dating Teresa, they were on a girl's trip. Louie kept asking Joey to go crash the trip to get a scene on the show. Melissa also said Louie tried to date Alexia from Miami. The Marge says this is true. Teresa calls Melissa a liar and can't wait for the night to be over. Melissa asks her why are you leaving. Teresa says no you are leaving. Andy says well we will see how it goes with the reunion. Teresa says either way after tonight she is out of my life. Melissa said it's sad.
Then they talk more about the wedding and Teresa's 3 feet of hair. The Marge said it was beautiful. She says she cried, and she looked beautiful. She loved the wedding, but after what she heard on the show she is repulsed and shocked, meaning Louie hiring Bo Dietl to investigate them. Andy says more of that later.
Dolores is now questioned. Andy asks her how her relationship is with Paulie. She said her relationship with Frank Sr. is a little different because there can't be two #1's. This relationship is very different that she had with David. Frank is still living with David! How strange. Dolores is okay with that. Paulie is not divorced yet. He is legally separated.
Now what comes up is Danielle with her broken relationship with her brother. It's been three years since they spoke, but she is going to see him the next day. Their grandmother died so she will be in the same room with him. So maybe they will mend their relationship. She said RHONJ was his favorite show.
The Marge and Danielle argue and go back and forth, same old story with this crew. Andy said Danielle came off tough, but she ended up being emotional. She said it was because she was in shock because Rachel twisted her to be the gossip. The Marge tells her you said I had an arsenal!! Danielle replies, I said it was Laura who said it!! Now they are all screaming at each other ... and I can't take it!! Danielle is too loud. People love her. I think she along with the rest of this cast fight too much and are too loud. No one can get a word in. It is hard to listen to every single episode this season.
Andy even said they talked about the same fight all season and it was the dumbest fight never! And it wasn't even a big deal. I agree. So dumb!
Moving forward Rachel and Danielle will drop their feud and have a friendship. Damnit, these two will be on next season! Please no. Rachel is boring, and Danielle is too sensitive and way too loud! Danielle seems to think the louder you are, the more of a star you will become. Maybe she thinks it will give her a spot next season. I say shut up or keep it down a notch.
Now Melissa's new home comes up. It is finally done. People were coming after her design. The cast said they were there, and it is beautiful. Andy asked if they hired Fuda to do the tiles. She says yes. Rachel chimes in and says Melissa is demanding. Melissa says Teresa moved two doors down from her old home.
Now Antonia comes up. Teresa said she shouldn't have answered Rachel's question about her not coming to Milania's sweet 16. She feels like it was a setup question. Rachel denies it. Now they fight! How annoying these women are. No one speaks, they all just scream and argue. Now Andy brings up how Melissa said Teresa's daughters have hate in their hearts. Melissa says her daughter never says anything on the show, but Teresa's girls talk about her all the time. They go back and forth about the children and the same argument for a decade. This reunion is annoying and boring.
Now up is The Marge. We see a flashback of Jennifer telling Melissa that The Marge thinks Melissa should be with a ball player. Andy asks Melissa if it was flattering or confusing. Melissa said it was all a joke and that Joe is not mad at all about it. Jennnifer says Laura told her that The Marge said it all the time. My opinion is Melissa is downplaying it and that Joey was probably annoyed a little bit about it.
Now Laura comes up and they all discuss if she tried to be on the show. Jennifer had her at her premier party. The Marge said she wanted her on the show. Andy said if The Marge tried to get her on the show and if she wanted to come on as a friend it would be more interesting for her come on the show as an enemy.
I can't !!! .... they are all screaming over each other.
Teresa said she need to get this out. She said Melissa and Joe's whole storyline has always been about her. She said that Jacqueline told her so many things recently about what Joe and Melissa did to her years ago. She said her ex's partner outed her and that's why he didn't go to jail. He was in contact with Joe and Melissa, they were speaking to him, insinuating that they were behind her going to jail. After she learned all of this, she will never have anything to do with them again. Melissa said last she heard Caroline put her in jail. Teresa takes it back. Now it's the Gorga's who did it.

2023.05.31 04:27 No_Crow_2265 Do I give my grandparents a second chance? Do I pretend to love them? Or do I cut it off?
Cast: Me (f 23) Brother (m 21) Sister (f 19) Grandma (f 70) Grandpa (m 68)
Situation: My siblings and I were adopted and raised by our paternal grandparents. Me and them have never gotten along. Things got very bad 7 to 4 years ago.
Tensions between me and my grandparents have simmered down since I moved out 5 years ago. Grandparents feel they don’t have a lot of time left and want to rekindle our relationship and “get close again”.
Things have drastically changed since I moved out: grandma and grandpa are claiming to be different people now. I sure am a different person too. They really hurt me in the past and I can’t trust them not to do it again, but my sister who still lives with them claims they have changed for the better.
A HUGE bonus and honestly the biggest reason I am even bothering to consider this situation is that I would rekindle and reconnect to my little sister, who comes as a package deal with my grandparents. I miss her so much.
Option 1: Give them a second chance
Fully commit, open myself up, be the real me, discuss and heal past issues and determine what we want our relationship to look like moving forward. If they really haven’t changed, this could mean opening up myself to a new wave of drama, arguments, manipulation, yelling, and trying to control me. True love is all about being vulnerable with the other person and I don’t know if I am capable of that with them because of how much they hurt me. Plus, I still harbor a lot of pent up anger and emotion regarding how I was treated.
Option 2: Pretend love them and “half” commit
Do, say, and act the part - say I love you at the end of all calls. Be nice but reserved. Keep my heart closed and don’t share the real me. I wouldn’t love them, but I wouldn’t let them know that.
I would give them more of what they want - a relationship. They wouldn’t know just how one sided it would be. I truly believe I can play the part well for many years if needed. Things might get tricky when I have kids, tho?
Option 3: keep it how it is and more or less cut it off
Right now we are more or less on “see you at family events” terms with a phone call thrown in for birthdays and Mother’s Day. I see their “public” face and they keep all of their issues to themselves and I keep all of mine to myself. In the last 3 years there have been next to no arguments, yelling, manipulating, or grabs for control over me. I’ve never been happier and I’ve started to no longer get anxiety attacks when I get a call or text from them. I so badly want to keep it this way. But they hate it and it apparently hurts them a lot.
Other important information: 1) They were so outright emotionally abusive and manipulative to the point I wished they would just hit us instead. Very controlling and strict parents.
2) When things “took a huge downward turn” and our relationship was at its worst, my grandma struggled very hard with having an independent, very emotional teenager (me) and the sudden death of her son/my dad. Since it’s been over 6 years there’s a very good chance she’s fully healed and she has changed since these issues are no longer as relevant.
3) my sister has hinted that my grandparents will never apologize for how they raised us and thus how they treated us (which is where ALL my beef with them is at). “They did their best and they are not sorry for that”. This doesn’t sit well with me and I think plays a big part in my struggle with this issue.
4) all of the things they did to support me they end up holding over my head and using as leverage to try to control me. They helped pay for my college and they make sure I don’t forget it. This happened again in our most recent conversation.
5) we are VERY different people. In the past they have been very vocal about their disproval of my views and actions. In the past, they have been very negative, nagging people with always something to complain about and I HATE being around people like that. A part of having a happy life is to surround yourself with happy people and people you like. Their previous selves would DEFINITELY not fit that bill.
FYI / non-relevant information: 1) Biological parents were druggies and our paternal grandparents stepped in once us kids were CPS-ed out of there. Mom died in 2008, a year after we were legally adopted.
2) I have a husband (m 23), moved an hour away, and am slowly living the life I dreamed of. Things are wonderful except for this issue.
3) I decided to start seeing a therapist because I clearly have a lot to work through. First session isn’t for another month.

2023.05.31 04:26 Goodwill_Forager S7 Ep19 Mona Charlotte reveal
Mona - “I watched for five years. Five years of you making the doctors feel so clever with all the progress you were making. You played them all. The court, the lawyers, your own sister. But you couldn’t fool me.”
Charlotte - “You always were the smart one, Mona, not Spencer.”
Mona - “Now you’re out, and you think you can start hurting people again. Well, I’m not gonna let that happen.”
Charlotte - “Who’s gonna stop me, is it you?”
Mona - “Yes.”
Charlotte - “Do you still see her when you look in the mirror? The, uh, the loser, ‘the pigtails and the frumpy sweaters. ‘Cause I see her. I see her right now. None of you are sure when you look in the mirror. None of you are really certain who you are. I did that. I took that away from you, the same way that everything was stolen from me. And now I’m back. And everything that happened before, that’s gonna feel like a picnic.”
Mona - “I won’t let you do that to my friends.”
Charlotte - “Oh, no one’s gonna believe you. Not only did you lose the game, but you lost the story. It’s mine, everything is mine. Gosh, I hate this town. I guess I’m going to have to do something about that too.”
Okay so rewatching this scene it is more apparent than ever that Charlotte is a narcissistic psycho and Mona is an absolute G! Now, I do love Charlotte as A because she is such a narcissist and so well fitted to be A. I also feel bad for her because her childhood majorly sucked. However, there are lots of people who came from messed up backgrounds who made something better for themselves that also put good into the world and that is just so not what Charlotte is doing. She is just ready to take revenge and it is so short sighted and empty. But Mona is so awesome for just taking her out. I love Mona and she has done many things to redeem herself since being A, and this is a big redeeming point for her.
Also love how Charlotte openly admits that she never actually got any better at all, because that was something I had forgotten and then since wondered about, but question answered! It was all a lie. She and Archer Dunhill fooled the courts, the lawyers, even Ali. Absolutely wild.

Master Of Puppets is not the best Metallica album | 49
Neither The Rolling Stones nor The Who have ever produced a great album | 49

2023.05.31 04:18 diamondsandglass [Ballet] The only ballerina you've ever heard isn't actually that great at ballet
Briefly, I’d like to say I really enjoy reading the content here, but this is my first time trying my own hand at writing a post. If anyone has recommendations for improvement I’d be happy to hear them. There is so, so, so much drama in the ballet world, so hopefully this will be the first in a series of sorts. I’ll try to keep it relatively light for my first post, but this write-up will include some mentions of racism. Also, apologies for any formatting issues, I am on mobile.
With that being said, let’s get on to the drama.
What is ballet? I’ll try to keep this part brief. Just in case you haven’t heard of it, ballet is a heavily codified and strict form of dance rising out of France in the 17th century. It traveled all around Europe, and eventually the world, changing and taking shape along the way. In the late 18th century some absolute sadist decided that this art would look even better if the dancers had to do everything balanced on the top of their toes, and thus the pointe shoe was born, defining the style to this day.
What is Swan Lake? In the 19th century Russia was the place to be for ballet. Tchaikovsky was writing his greatest music for the royal theater, and working with him was the genius choreographer Marius Pepita. In 1870, this collaboration would lead to a little work called Swan Lake. Swan Lake is one of the most famous ballets of all time, eclipsed only by The Nutcracker. It is a big display of feathers and drama and death and I love it very much.
The plot revolves around a woman who has been cursed to turn into a swan, and the prince who falls in love with her. Unfortunately, the prince is tricked by an evil swan woman who dances so seductively that he promises to marry her instead. This confusion leads to the good swan being so heartbroken she simply cannot live on, and the ballet ends with her tragic death. I know this plot sounds batshit insane, but the dances are so beautiful it kind of helps you forget that. Traditionally both of the lead swan roles are played by the same dancer, which is a massive challenge not just because she will be on stage for ~2 hours, but also because the evil swan (referred to as the black swan or Odiele) has a famously difficult section where she has to do 32 of the same turn. In a row. Put a pin in that for a moment.
Who is Misty Copeland? Misty Copeland is possibly the most famous ballet dancer in the world right now. If you forced someone on the street to name a ballet dancer, it would either be her or Natalie Portman in that one movie. Misty became famous as the first black ballerina promoted to a principal dancer at American Ballet Theater, the de facto national dance company of the U.S. This was a huge step forward for the ballet world, especially notable for the fact that it took waaaaaayyyy too long to happen. Misty was promoted to principal in 2015, the first black dancer to achieve this in the company’s 75 year history.
Misty is not the first black ballerina in history, but she did break a major boundary for future dancers. It’s no secret that the ballet world is stiff, slow-to-change, and overwhelmingly white. Her success was in spite of the conservative powers that be, and made her a huge inspiration to many people. Misty capitalized on this, doing magazine interviews, social media campaigns, and writing several books. She is certainly a groundbreaking ballet dancer.
But is she a good dancer? …that’s a very controversial question. She’s obviously better than the average person, but most dancers would argue she doesn’t stand out from other professionals. Her technique and virtuosity are not what is remarkable about her, and her dancing itself isn’t what made her famous. The problem with talking about this is that conservative ballet people also use this as an excuse to tear down a successful black dancer. It is difficult to distinguish someone that has good faith concerns about her qualifications from someone that is pretending to have concerns in order to voice their racist opinions on her. This had been simmering under the surface for her whole career, but really came to the head in 2018, when Copeland was called to perform the lead role in Swan Lake on a huge international tour stop in Singapore.
Black Swan Remember that pin from earlier? We’re bringing it back. Copeland had performed Swan Lake many times before, including in the lead role, and reviews were mixed. The consensus matches up pretty well with general comments about her dancing, that she’s an average-good performer, but her jumps and turns are underdeveloped and her technique is rough around the edges. Her performance in Singapore overall reflects this, with one glaring issue. The 32 turns.
This is probably the most famous danced section of the ballet, and definitely the most famous piece for the black swan. As mentioned above, Misty is not a very strong turner. She often substitutes in simpler moving steps instead of turning in the same space, as Swan Lake demands. The Singapore performance is particularly rough, and unfortunately someone in the audience that night was filming. Apologies in advance for the poor video quality, but obviously this was a bootleg.
For reference, here’s a whole bunch of other dancers doing the same section-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEX_KCIBV9o And now here’s Misty-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqqya96rkss Misty is obviously off-center from the start, having to hop and slowly drifting across the stage for the turns she does complete. Rather than resetting and finishing out the sets she completely gives up at 17 seconds in and substitutes in a different step. This was not a one-time change. There is additional footage from other performances that show the same thing, replacing at least half the turns with other, simpler moves. It’s clear she can’t do 16 turns in a row, much less the full 32. It had been known to the ballet world for a while that Misty wasn’t an amazing turner, but having video proof made the whole thing start spiraling beyond that.
Responses The backlash started out on small ballet forums, and then spread to blogs and other news outlets. Various reputable sources and also the Daily Mail wrote articles about how embarrassing the video looked for Copeland. The media narrative was quick to get negative, and Copeland is nothing if not media savvy. She had to make a response. And that she did.
Misty chose to respond to a particular negative comment on Instgram-
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bg3VEi2hWc-/?hl=en&taken-by=mistyonpointe Her response is fairly long and eloquent. She points out that she has never claimed to be the best dancer, and that she is grateful to even have the opportunity to perform this role. She also highlights the importance of artistry and storytelling to ballet as a whole. This response kicked off a second wave of media responses, mostly gushing clickbait articles supporting Misty unquestioningly. Most people called the performance an “off day”, saying it wasn’t representative of her dancing as a whole.
Conclusion For the ballet world, this was a huge story. However, the ballet world is not that big or important to most people. The whole thing was easily swept past, an article or two were posted online and everyone acted outraged for a few days. It hasn’t had a meaningful impact on Copeland’s career, she’s still dancing with ABT and as mentioned is massively popular. She has recently taken a break from performing, but is still very much a part of the company and will probably get more opportunities to perform Swan Lake in future. Anyone that doesn’t like her will just have to die mad about it.
Additional reading In case you’re interested, I got a lot of my additional info here-
https://balletfocus.com/misty-copeland/ The writer is not a professional dancer, but does work closely with the ballet world and wrote one of the more comprehensive and unbiased accounts I could find. Most news outlets that covered the story are either exclusively covering Copeland’s response or just designed to tear her down. I’m not interested in trashing her reputation or calling her a terrible dancer, and I don’t want to link to anyone that’s doing that either.
I do think there are other black dancers that deserve to have as much praise and adulation as Copeland, and it’s frustrating that she alone gets so much media attention. However she has done a lot of good with her platform, and her outreach to young dancers especially is really admirable. If you have a little dancer in your life, consider reading them one of her picture books. Or hey, go to a local dance performance! There are thousands of talented dancers in smaller regional companies that don’t ever get the kind of attention American Ballet Theater generates. Having public support is what keeps dance going, whether you’re an intentionally famous principal or a local beginner.

2023.05.31 04:18 Forsaken-Biscotti437 Is it time for me M30 to break up with my girlfriend F27
I proposed to my gf of 7.5 years and she reacted to the proposal in an unappreciative, spoiled, and selfish way.
For context, my girlfriend(we'll call her Jane), has always been a pretty overly negative person. She's also been extremely unappreciative of everything I have done for her. Even though her negativity is to the level of draining, I've always looked past it because I've always been a very positive person and like to see the good in everyone. Also, the relationship has never felt 50/50. I'm always doing more. I'm the stability and security. I'm the affectionate one in the relationship. I'm always the emotionally supportive one; it's basically a crime for me to have a bad day and her be supportive. I'm always the one to plan surprises for her and nice trips/vacations. I'm also the selfless lover and she puts in basically zero effort in bed. She also pushes away any friends she had and always holds eternal grudges. Quite a catch right? I'm definitely guilty of looking past people's faults and looking for the best in people. Admittedly one becomes complacent after all those years as well.
Well, fast forward after all that and I decided to pop the question. I was met with a yes, but a very bizarre, reserved reaction. Excitement is really the only acceptable reaction if you truly love someone and that did not occur. My sister witnessed it and was disgusted. My gf, Jane ends up telling me it was nothing like she imagined. It wasn't romantic enough, and she was supposed to pick out the ring. Basically, I didn't do good enough. I told her that she missed the entire point of what a proposal means. We broke out into a huge fight. I ended up rescinding the proposal. I told her that she needs to think about if she really loves me the way I love her. She ends up leaving for her parents for about 1 week.
After that 1 week, I sat her down and explain how the relationship has never been 50/50. How overly negative she always is. How unappreciative she is of everything I've done for her. I told her that we needed to be done for good. She completely broke down in tears. She admitted she's negative, selfish, and unappreciative. She admitted she messed up bad with her reaction to the proposal. She said that after 7.5 years, she deserves one more chance to make things right. She also guilted me by saying she would have to move back in with her parents if we broke up (for reference, they're pretty awful). I caved and said we can give it one more try.
Since then, she has acted like everything is back to normal. She has made some minimal efforts compared to the norm to improve, but they feel insignificant in the grand scheme of things. I feel like the level of rejection and dejection I felt from the whole proposal debacle truly opened my eyes to the kind of partner she has been all these years...no partner at all. I can tell she is some what trying, but I just feel really detached from her after all this. A big part of me just wants to give up on this. I just feel like people truly can't change and I shouldn't expect them to. It's my fault for allowing myself to be treated this way all these years. It's just so difficult. Part of me is afraid to be alone and I feel complacent. The other part of me knows I can do better. Also, I feel a level of guilt because she said if she has to go back to her parents she will regress mentally for years (for reference, she has depression and her parents suck). I feel guilt over that, but that shouldn't be my problem.
I figured I'd get some unbiased viewpoints on the matter. I just feel like I lose no matter what. It's really frustrating.

2023.05.31 04:18 kaixlove Emancipation in minnesota
Hi, so I need some advice on a very concerning and difficult matter. My mother is very unfit to be one, and me and my family all know and agree with that statement. Unfortunately she has two children that still live with her that are 14 and 13. We as a family have contemplated multiple times whether we should try and take my sisters away as she is unfit to watch them but chose never to do so as I am the only one that would be able to have guardianship as far as responsibility wise, but we assume I wouldn't be able to get them anyways because all I am is their big sister.
We assume they would instead be put into foster care if their father wouldn't take them,( which we doubt he would, he has like 14 other kids and wasn't there for them practically their whole life) so we also don't want him to take them either. So all of this concern has lef us back to one of my sisters wanting to get emancipated. I told her she could live with me and whatnot if she got emancipated but my mom won't agree to it. So she told me mom that she would bring her to court for all the things she has done, but then I worry that would just result in them both being taken away instead.
I guess my question kind of is, what is the best course of action to take? I would take both of my sisters but my other sister loves my mom and would probably freak out, and my other sister wants out immediately. But would they be in a worse spot if we were to bring her to court? Would I be able to actually gain guardianship as their sister? I want to help my sister as I understand what it's like to live with her, but I genuinely don't know if I can do anything. Thank you.

2023.05.31 04:11 moderatenerd Any pointers on how to move from a small company experience to a large company experience
I've had the good fortune to get interviewed by a few recruiters over the past few months and the ones who didn't push me through all said the same thing. I don't have experience working on a team this big. Which really sucks and shouldn't really be a factor. I have 11 years of IT/sysadmin and web dev experience.
I've been a jack-of-all-trade type for about 9 years between two companies and my consulting on the side. I also have sales b2b experience for 4 of those years. I know how to pick up systems and processes really quickly and easily. I am currently teaching myself full stack development and cybersecurity concepts (since I want the CISSP by the end of the year). I have always been employed and am a good worker, yet these recruiters treat me like some unemployable person.
The problem seems to be that I don't have a structured IT career progression and a lot of it is self taught. Mostly because I was the guy the incompetent managers hired to fix things. Yet somehow I am not getting this picture across to recruiters or they don't believe me when I say I work well with others. I know that there is some disconnect between my experience and what companies are looking for. I do believe it is the fact that I have never been in a company that was larger than 500 people. This seems to have hurt me in my job searches. Even though there was diversity, teamwork, irate end users and all that comes with any IT job.
Is there any advice out there for a sysadmin who is looking to gain exposure to technologies at a large company? I am not dumb and I can handle sysadmin work, but why do the recruiters not want to hire you if you weren't in THAT specific industry? Using THEIR specific tech stack?
Are they not understanding that the things I've done match their requirements (but on a smaller scale)?

2023.05.31 04:02 SingleMom24-1 I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO GET OUT
😭 I’ve been trying to move out from my moms place for years. These last three months I’ve been trying so much harder. My mom won’t get off my back. Everything I do is wrong (because she makes assumptions about what and why I’m doing things) just an hour ago we got in a screaming match because I was trying to lure my 23 month old into the livingroom with a rock that she wanted so my mom obviously assumed that I would most definitely give the rock to the toddler to throw at the tv to break. After I calmed down and got my girl into bed and settled I went out for a cigarette and my mom followed me out and asked me a question. I told her ‘I don’t want to talk to anyone right now’ and she said ‘yeah of course…. Good….. then I don’t have to hear your voice anymore…’ LIKE SHUT UP OH MY GOD! I can’t fucking move out because my bank account was forcibly attached to hers and she won’t sign for me to unlink them and she refuses to give me the bank password. She gives me maybe 200$ a month out of 2200$. And that’s for essentials so I can’t even put it away! 😭😭😭😭 growing up everything was always fighting and screaming and namecalling and it caused my Borderline Personality Disorder. I don’t fucking want that for my daughter! She’s already predisposed to the disorder and all my mom being around me is doing is making it more likely my daughter will get it too. I don’t know what to do. I’ve honestly considered offing her and then myself so she isn’t left with my mom. 😭😭 I can’t live here anymore it’s killing me and she doesn’t even give a shit. When I told her that ‘I grew up without a mom. I’ve NEVER had a mother. My daughter will though!’ Her only response was a shrug and ‘your sisters had a mom’ (which at least 2 of the 3 of them didn’t as one was raised by my grandparents and the other moved out at 19 and cut contact at 26)

2023.05.31 03:56 acurrell What I've Learned About Myself Playing TOTK
- In my arrogance, I took Mipha's Grace for granted. I never thanked her, not once
- I took the bounty of Hyrule for granted. Now I'm penniless and can barely keep enough food to stay alive. I killed a Bokoblin for his apples. His goddamn apples.
- I was proud of being vegetarian, but it was hollow, convenient. I'm killing ducks now, and foxes, like a monster. I raise my arms and cheer when their flesh cooks.
- I am a coward. I stood upon a rock wastefully raining unlimited bombs on enemies. Now I slink and hide, hoarding the few precious bomb flowers I find whilst stumbling in the dark.
- I was vain, strutting around in matching outfits. Now I'm mismatched like Kilton's balloon.
- I was proud because I lifted a rock with a balloon. Now I spin like an idiot because the fans are facing opposite directions.
- I was a fool because I never thought I could love any game more than BOTW.

2023.05.31 03:50 Jackal830 10 Disks - BTRFS Raid 1 vs ZFS RaidZ3
Many, many years ago I created a raidz3 array on ZFS out of ten disks. I made the array as big as I possibly could afford due to ZFS not being able to add disks to an existing ZVOL. This is a huge weakness of ZFS for home use and has always bugged me.
Fast forward to today and the array is running out of space. I'm contemplating doing the ZFS dance of replacing 1-2 drives at a time until all are replaced and growing space that way, but this is pretty expensive. I'll buy disks that are massively oversized for what I need today in order to make sure I don't have to do the ZFS dance for many years (my current disks have lasted me 7 years due to me buying way more storage than I needed at the time).
This is where BTRFS comes in. I like the idea of just being able to buy disks as I need them. The sizes of the disks don't have to match either. I'm running out of space? OK, I'll just spend a couple hundred on a 16+ TB drive.
I see that raid5/6 still isn't suggested beyond testing purposes. Disks are cheap enough now where the space savings of raid5/6 over raid1 isn't that giant of a deal to me. In my current setup, instead of losing 30% to parity, I'd lose 50% for copies. I can live with that. It's better than buying 3x the storage I need right now on ZFS to make sure I can grow into the ZVOL.
There is one thing I don't get about BTRFS raid1 though. Let's say I set up raid1 on ten disks. I could lose data by losing 2 disks, correct? Since the data is stored in chunks across all the disks, and these chunks could span all 10 disks (for large files), it would be possible to lose a significant amount of data on a double disk failure.
Comparing this to raidZ3, I can lose 3 disks and still have access to all data.
I am OK with losing space for redundancy, but I'm having a hard time accepting that I can withstand less disk failures while doing so.
Is there something I'm overlooking here?

2023.05.31 03:50 Hot-Grade7433 Feeling disconnected even after finding out gender? TW previous loss
Hi, so I’m 11weeks and 1 day today. We got the genetic testing results back today, and we’re having a healthy boy. I feel like my husband was more excited (I think he would’ve been even if it was a girl) because I’m honestly feeling so disconnected right now.. I was dead set on it being a girl, but we have had two miscarriages in the 5 years together, and this is the first where I’ve made it this far. I don’t know if that’s a good reason as to why I feel this way, but it’s like it’s not real yet. I didn’t even cry when we found out what we’re having.. I actually said oh no in the video because we have tons of bags of girl clothes from newborn-18 months from my sisters. I’m just scared.
We already have some stuff we’ve picked up, we’ve been calling the baby our bumblebee and I have definitely felt emotional about it all but it hasn’t really “hit” me if that makes sense. I know this baby boy will be so loved and I’m not worried about it too much after their born but I feel like a terrible mother now for not feeling a connection to this baby right now at this moment. Has anyone else been feeling this way? Did anything help?

2023.05.31 03:49 Gaucho_Diaz Who is a lesser known wrestler who you would have liked to seen in WWE?
Everybody has their obvious favorites of big name wrestlers who've never been in WWE like Kenny Omega, Jay Lethal and Will Ospreay, and of course, now retired wrestlers like The Great Muta or even those who later on fought in the WWE like Sting.
But what's a lesser known/acclaimed name who never fought in the WWE but should/should have at some point?
My votes go for Ayako Hamada and Sarita from TNA. Those two were amazing in the ring for their time and it would have been interesting to see how they would fared during the AJ Lee/Paige era of divas wrestling or even the Women's Revolution.
I also think Kensuke Sasaki would have been amazing. He could have been a Nakamura before Nakamura and could have had an amazing feud with Brock Lesnar or even Ken Shamrock way back in the day, with their common mixed martial arts backgrounds.
Even though he fought once in NXT, I also vote for Jushin 'Thunder' Liger. As much as I love him and would have loved to see a rematch with Rey Mysterio since their match in the late 90s WCW, I fear they would have fumbled him like they did with Ultimo Dragon. But it's great to see a move like the shooting star press make a resurgence in popularity in WWE after many years thanks to people like Evan Bourne in the past and Ricochet in the here and now.

I plan on doing a post-mortem blog series that goes into the specifics on the overall game production, how i built a team, and marketing the game. This post will be just about the game production but feel free to ask any questions, I'll do my best to answer.
Some quick facts:
- Path of Kami was my team's debut game and was our first commercial release as a team (our team had released games before as part of our day jobs)
- We’re a small team that had ~ 5 core members and at largest ~10
- We self-published
- Genre: Exploration, Adventure
- Wishlists at launch: 9,268
- Current Reviews: 20
- Steam Rating: Mostly Positive
- Price: $4.99
I talk a bit more about how we approached pre-production, game design and development in my blog here if you're interested
in more details. For this post I'll just share what tools we used, what worked and what didn't. I hope this will be insightful and helpful for anyone working on self-publishing a game.
Tools we used
- Discord: We used this for communication, team meetings, and work hangouts.
- Documentation: We started out with Nuclino and then switched to Tettra and also used google docs.
- Hack N Plan: Project management tool (though we are starting to use notion for documentation and project planning for our next project)
- Clockify: Track time spent working on game and used for timesheets to pay team
- Game Engine: Unreal
- TortoiseSVN: Source Control for the game
- Digital Ocean: Hosting for the source control
- Canva: Graphics, marketing materials, road mapping
What Worked :)
Visual Prototype
- In early phases of development we did a visual prototype which helped a ton with defining our unique art style and experimenting early with what would work best for the game.
Puzzle Manager & other tools
- The development team put together a set of tools such as a puzzle manager and cinematic system for designers to be able to quickly create and implement puzzles and cinematics. This helped save a lot of time for programmers so they could work on other aspects of the game while giving designers more control over the puzzles.
Modular Kits
- The art team built modular kits for the environments in the game which helped a ton with world-building and quickly setting up environments
Achieving our Design Goal in creating a Relaxing Experience
- With the feedback we got on the game I feel like we did a great job at keeping the experience casual and relaxing for players, achieving one of our main design pillars and goals!
- Our SFX artist and music composer worked very hard on providing ambient music and a soothing soundtrack for the game which really added a lot of depth and pushed the mood we were aiming for. We got a lot of positive feedback on it and had some of the community ask for a lofi version which we posted on our youtube channel.
Launching with ‘release essentials’
- While working for a game publisher I learned there were constant negative reviews for certain game features that players wanted and made sure we had them for launch day. Players would leave negative reviews because a game didn’t have input binding, widescreen support, and other features on launch day. Below are the features we implemented to help prevent this:
- Input binding
- Keyboard/Mouse AND Controller support
- Wide screen support
- Window mode
- Achievements
- Multiple Languages [didn’t see a lot of negative reviews for this but I highly recommend launching with multiple languages because it increases your reach, you’ll also have tons of people commenting in Steam discussions about adding their language :) ]
What Didn't Work :(
Scope of the game not matching team resources
- When scoping the game, we scoped high in hopes that we would be able to get a publisher or additional funding. Although we were able to fundraise some money for the game, it wasn’t enough to fund the team full-time to work on it. Even with scoping down the game and it being relatively ‘small’, it took us a long time to make. This is partially because we were all working on it less than part-time.
Spent too long developing the game
- This kind of ties into the point above. We ended up spending 3 years working on the game. With this being our first game we should have scoped something a lot smaller so we could release something fast. Usually, your first game doesn’t make too much money so we could have spent a shorter amount of time developing this to quickly have a game under our belt and get experience as a team releasing something first. We also could have utilized asset packs more to shorten dev time.
Getting stuck ‘in the box’
- We focused a lot on art and worldbuilding, kinda losing sight of the big picture. We also approached the development linearly as the player would play it instead of by scope and complexity. The game ended up being stretched too long and made it so we had to do an abrupt ending to the game. To fix this we could have regularly tried looking ‘outside the box’ and looking at the game as a whole from start to end. Taking a look at how much time we should spend for each level and take extra time on the ending of the game.
Game Genre
- We marketed the game as an exploration/adventure puzzle game and these genres are pretty saturated on Steam. They are also known to not make as much money as other genres, although since this was our first game we weren’t expecting to make much on our own. Steam also tends to like more strategy-type of games, I’ll probably talk more about this in a later blog. To top it off we later learned that publishers also tend to not like puzzle games as much as other genres as well.
I hope this was insightful or helpful, if you have any questions let me know thanks for reading!

63M (M4F) Samantha & Alex (her son)
After Samantha and I met, we met via reddit. For those not up to speed, Sam had posted a comment, I hit her up, we chatted and it turned into a lust filled fuckfest filled with excitement!
Her original comment dealt with her son Alex. She discovered the 21yo was stealing her panties and cumming in them, I'm sure fantasizing about his mum. I can say, personally, I do not blame him as Samantha is freaking hot! I'm not talking milf hot, oh no, Sam is so sexy, into ALL kinds of steamy things… looks of a model, lingerie model, she could make a dead man hard!
Samantha lives in the UK, is new to reddit and asked if I'd write her story. Just hearing it, of course I readily agreed. Samantha is divorced, has 3 children, Alex 21, Rachel is 20 and Chrissy turned 19 just weeks ago. Samantha has a plan…
About a year ago Sam realized Alex was cumming in her worn undies and returning them to her hamper. Startled at first, eventually Samantha began to accept her son was just doing what most boys do. Lust after their mummys, because they are nearest and dearest to the youngsters heart, conveniently located in mums bedroom. Her panties are always available. (my personal interest as I would do the very same in my mom's panties as well).
Samantha felt frisky one morning and when she found a freshly cummed pair, she put them on… immediately feeling her pussys reaction, Sam dipped her fingers in her underwear, and tasted his young seed. Mmmmmnnn she thought and immediately cummed. The naughty sense of what just happened fills her with the desire to suck her young son's cock! Young hard cock, she was hooked. Mummy enjoyed the thought.
It didn't take long and Samantha knew Alex was watching her, only now she realized Alex had a thing for mum, and she struck… "Alex, I know you have been a naughty boy with my panties" Alex was embarrassed. "I think, why use my panties when you can use mummy?" Anxiously waiting for a reply, Sam continued, "I'm not seeing anyone, I'm horny all the time sweetheart, surly mum would love some company in my bed" "or maybe even yours". Alex perked up, Mummy I… I don't know what to say… Samantha said her knees were knocking as she talked with Alex. "say yes my son, and Mummy will show you the world"
I have to tell you Samantha is quite descriptive in our chats, very intense details matter. We have only been sexting a few months, but she demands to be heard. Part of what makes her so sexy I guess. Even when she wears her lingerie, every detail is seen down to her dainty gold chain necklace! I digress…
Really mum, in my bed? Alex said. Mummy took his young hand and led him upstairs to his bedroom. On the way, mum kissed Alex on the stairs, "I'm so excited Alex" "my legs are shaking", Me too mummy, Alex replied. That wasn't all that was "shaking" hehe She began helping Alex undress, running her hands over his young chiseled body, his dick already hard, Sam pushed him on his bed, "I want you to watch me Alex, she began to strip, stripper style, slow and sensually. Alex's eyes were glued on his mum.
Knowing Alex loved his mum's underwear, Sam left them on, they would only come off with Alex's hands pulling them off. Sam crawled up to Alex's young hard cock, never questioning herself, she only felt lust for her son, that Alex would be her lover, forever, he was her beautiful son. She kept her gaze on his eyes, making him feel loved…
In her mind, Samantha remembered her upbringing, incestuous for sure. Sam remembered how daddy touched her and her sister while mummy sat naked in the corner of the dimly lit bedroom. How she felt loved by her parents, and she would make Alex feel the same way…
Samantha started to lick his young hard cock thinking it's bigger than she had imagined, she took him in her wet warm mouth… mmmmmmnnn mummy…. Alex had loved his first touch of his mom. she began to take him balls deep…. Ohhhh uuuuhjj… mummy….. mum….i…. slurping schulummping…..mummy knew all too well how to please any man, but this was her virginal son, so tender…mumph… it wouldn't take Alex long…. Ohhhhhhmmu…. mummy tha….ohhhh im …im… mummy I'm cumming and Alex exploded in Samantha's beautiful mouth! Mnnnnnn mummy drank him down, her gorgeous son has cum I'm mummy's mouth.
Alex said I'm sorry mum but Sam shush him quickly "yes baby, that's normal honey" "mummy's good"? oh yes mum, oh yes please. Mmmmnnn mummy trained Alex to have manners, and couldn't be more pleased. "We have a couple of hours Alex, your sisters won't be… alex"? "I've noticed your yummy cum in their panties too" Alex was alarmed "You don't"… Sam chose her words carefully "you just cum in them right?" Sam waited for his response, yes mummy, I just smell them and I cum in them. But once not too long ago, Rachel asked if she could suck my dick, so I let her, she only kissed it and sucked it once, we., it was nothing like what you did mummy I swear. Samantha was relieved.
"Alex, I must tell you something about mummy" Samantha would go on, for almost an hour, telling Alex about her incestuous past. All the while cuddling and stroking her hand on Alex's young chest. By the time she had glossed over but thoroughly explained herself, Sam's hand had brought Alex's young cock to full attention. "we must finish your first lesson Alex, Sam sprung on top of her willing son and inserted his stiff young dick in into her cunt, (yes, in Europe women refer to their pussys as cunts) slowly Sam eased herself down on his big shaft, savoring every micro second… mmmmmnnn she moaned, so good Alex…. Ohhhhh mummy loves your cock, Alex agreed mmm oh mummy, ohhhhh… im… it feels soooo…. mmmmummy …. Ohhhhh… Sam increased her riding Alex's cock speed… mmmmnnn ohhhh Alex she whispered…. I love you baby…… ohhhh mum….. aahhhhh…. I'm….. mummy ….I'm….mmmmnnnn I'm cumming Alex Sam began to scream. Cum for mummy Alex …. she needed to beg no more Alex screams MUMMYYYYY….. they would cum together, a mom and her son! True pure sexual pleasure but it was more Samantha thought, it was the ultimate love, taboo love… society be damned.
Just then Rachel and Chrissy came home. Samantha looked at her son, his glazed over lust filled eyes… mmmmnn Alex, I think we should include your sisters… With a smirk on her face, Samantha had planted the seed of desire in her young son's mind… yes mummy, oh yes please Alex replied. Samantha greeted her daughters home… if they only knew what would be in their young sexual future. Sam licked her lips… "I'm insatiable" she thought.
*As I've told you, Samantha is indeed an interesting woman. And yes, she is very real. Of course, I may have expressed writer ummm license if you will, but her story is real, that Sam is one horny little girl. And I know you naughty dogs will give it, and her the love she deserves. Telling one's story can be difficult for very different reasons. The next publication about Samantha and her family will come out… I promise. (I have to put my dick down now)
stay tuned…

2023.05.31 03:24 kolkre was it wrong for me to block my ex friend?
tw !!!: s*icide, sh
So basically, during the summer before sophomore year i (16f) had a crush on this girl (my now gf, 15f) within my friend group and one of my friends (the one i dropped, 16f) helped me start dating her. Throughout the summer and the beginning of sophomore year she would help me get in contact with my crush more often and plan so that we could all hang out together so that i could spend as much time with her as possible. I was really grateful for this friend because my gf wasnt really all that social and got drained easily from even just texting too much. Now this is where it starts to get bad.
Ok so i knew from this friend that the feelings between my gf and i were mutual, but i wanted to wait before i asked her out because i didnt want to rush anything. But my crush saw this as me either not being ready for the relationship or me just leading her on. Despite having my friend acting as a sort of mediator, our relationship wasnt all that clear at the time. Because of this my crush started talking to a guy (19m). She had met him on omegle and they exchanged numbers. When i found out about this through my friend my heart genuinely broke. I was so upset because i really liked her. I felt so sick when i first found out because of my feelings and because of the creepy age gap. (What kind of college sophomore is attracted to a highschooler fresh out of 9th grade??) This caused a lot of rift in my crush and i’s relationship. After this i had backed off a little because i didnt think she even liked me like that.
This was one of the reasons why i had dropped this friend. After some time i saw that non of her close friends cared enough to warn her about the 19 yr old or tell her that this was wrong, so i had a talk with her about their relationship and she blocked him. (To be clear they were in a sort of talking stage, not in a relationship but still like flirty 😟). After this we continued talking like before. I was able to let it go because you know shes the girl i like and she can do no wrong, so i kept talking to her under the intention to ask her out after some time.
Then after some time i found out that she had unblocked the guy. Turns out my “friend” had encouraged her to unblock because he was “hot.” And obviously i was really upset by this because like literally why would you do that, so i asked my friend about it and she said it wasnt right for her not advise her not to talk to him because her other friends talked to guys in their twenties too. This is where im kind of conflicted because if she really liked me then why did she do that? After all isnt it her decision in the end ? I was really conflicted about this so i ended up just leaving the situation alone because i wasnt sure if it was my place to say anything. Plus my crush asked for this to be kept from me.
The next few weeks were absolute hell for me. Because my friend would constantly bring up my crush and tell me nice things she said about me and encourage me to make a move. But anytime i would ask about the guy or ask her to talk some sense into my crush she would avoid it or just tell me she couldnt. It got to the point where she would just blame me for the situation entirely. She would say things like “this is all your fault” “this wouldnt have happened to her if you stopped it.” I would cry myself to sleep constantly because i felt that i had let my crush down. It was all my fault that this predator was able to get so close to her. It was just torture because my friend would tell me whenever my crush said someone was attractive or anything she would say about the 19 yr old. Worst of all was when she told me about her and my crush’s plan to go to california for my friends birthday and meet up with the 19 yr old. I cried so much over this because it wasnt like i was allowed to go and she said my crush had mentioned being excited to hang out with him without any sort of supervision. (You know now that im writing this im questioning my gf a little)
I know it was stupid of me to still be giving this a chance, but i wasnt sure because its not like i expressed to her before that i wanted to be exclusive. And its normal to be talking casually with other people while you arent in a relationship. But it hurt me a lot seeing this. Another thing that bothered me a lot was the fact that my sister and my cousin (the people im closest with) advised me to stop pursuing her because of how much she was hurting me. And they didn't even know the half of it. My "friend" had been telling me to keep all of this stuff about the 19 yr old a secret because she knew that my family would tell me to stop talking to my crush if they found out. To sum it up, i was hurt by my friend because she would claim that she was the only one with my best interest in mind and that all of my other friends werent truly looking out for me. (some of the other toxic things she would say to me)
That aside, some other instances that killed our relationship for me was when she would call me and tell me that she was going to commit s*icide and that there was nothing I could do about it. She would also show me, very graphically, her fresh sh cuts. In no way am I saying that it was wrong for her to tell me about the things that were bothering her, but that type of pressure on me and her showing me that stuff was very unhealthy and made me very uncomfortable. And another time she even brought a blade taken from a pencil sharpener to school. (Later she clarified that it was for crushing up stuff to snort, but I dont see how that makes it any better) I'm not sure if I was in the right in this situation because she wasn't mentally healthy at the time, and maybe I shouldn't be holding that against her?
Soon after her parents put her into a mental hospital, and when she came back she was put into a different school with the plan of returning to our school at the start of junior year. Because of this, I was able to really think back on everything that happened and I decided that I would cut her off because our relationship was very mentally draining on me. After some time I sent her a large paragraph (like big enough to the point where you had to click on it to view the entire thing) explaining that I didn't want to continue being friends with her because of the various reasons above^ and that my gf and I wanted to go NC with her. She responded with an apology, but she said a lot of things meant to guilt trip me like "you guys are better off without me" and "I'll just find another school."
I ended up not responding and she texted me after some time telling me that I didn't have to keep her Pinterest board and that she would leave our share one. And I was like so confused cause like it's Pinterest I don't care what you do. So I was just like ok, but then she texted me again a few weeks later asking for some stuff of hers that my gf still had. This wasn't unreasonable, so I responded. Then like a month later she texts me "can I ask you sum?" I was so curious, so I responded. She ended up telling me that she realizes that she has issues and that she was trying to get sober. After this, I just blocked her because one: I wasn't sure that she was being genuine because in the past she would give me backhanded apologies for things that she was in the wrong for and two: I was just sick of her constantly breaking the NC thing.
Was it too harsh of me to block her? Also I found out from a friend that shes actually planning on coming back to our school So thats fun. And I'm just gonna get this out of the way because I know it sounds bad. Despite all of the stuff that happened, I ignored all the red flags and asked my crush out. When we started dating it was nothing like when we were talking. She was super kind and considerate of my feelings, and now we have a healthy communicative relationship. Although we already talked about what happened and she apologized, I still feel a little weird about the whole thing. So should I still be worrying about this? Or should I leave it in the past? And should I unblock my ex friend and apologize? What should i do when school starts again??
TL;DR I blocked my ex friend for breaking my nc request, and I'm not sure of whether or not this was too harsh. And I don't know whether or not I should continue worrying about my gf's past red flags/mistakes.
