2023.05.31 04:14 Either-Belt-1413 Multiple Chart Objects / FullSeriesCollection Loop
Hey! Curious if anyone has a working method to filter the series of multiple charts. Any help is appreciated especially as the only working method I could find would be 2000+ lines of VBA in my use case.
I have around 20 charts. Each chart has around 100 series. Each series in each chart is a City. Obviously I don’t need to display all 100 series at once - wouldn’t make sense visually.
I’d like to achieve this: User selects “California” from pull down menu. (All 20) Charts are filtered to only show relevant series: “Oakland”, “Los Angeles”, “Anaheim”, “Hollywood” etc. User then selects “Nevada” from pull down menu. (All 20) Charts are then cleared of non relevant data and are filtered to only show relevant series: “Las Vegas”, “Reno”, “Pahrump”.
The data values and location within the workbook are dynamic / changing each week. They do not have a fixed location.
Here is what’s working (but not scalable):
Dim Chart(1 to CHTn) As ChartObject Dim DataSource As String Set Chart1 = ThisWorkbook.Sheets(“USA Charts”).ChartObjects(“Chart1”).Chart ‘etc assignments
On Error Resume Next ‘if series doesn’t exist for the current calendar week, then this enables skip
For i = 1 to CITYn ‘clears all series data Chart1.FullSeriesCollection(i).IsFiltered = True Chart2…. Chart3…. Chart4…. Next i
If DataSource = “California” Then Chart1.FullSeriesCollection(“Los Angeles”).IsFiltered = False Chart2…. Chart3…. Chart4…. End If
Obviously this is not scalable as I have 20 charts and more than 100 series of raw data to apply filters to.
I’ve tried the For Each method to loop through chart objects but it seems that “.FullSeriesCollection()” wants a specific expression.

2023.05.31 03:17 themannis72 Week 22: Street Food - BLT Picnic with Watermelon Mint Salad [meta: gluten free]
| The weather in my city is absolutely beautiful so my partner and I had a picnic on the waterfront. We used gluten free homemade bread and farmer’s market tomatoes, lettuce, and bacon (purchased on a street!). Our picnic was a great way to start off the summer submitted by themannis72 to 52weeksofcooking [link] [comments] |
2023.05.31 03:13 himejanaiyo Litong lito na ako sa sitwasyon ko
It's been a month since I've officially broken up with my live-in boyfriend, 2 weeks since I hurriedly moved out. Luckily, I was able to find a decent enough place to move into at a good price but it's far from what I'm used to.
A year ago, bago pa maging kami, I moved to a new city and rented a great condo with my dog. I met him there and he showed be around. He taught me where the good food were, where to shop, where to do my errands. He helped me settle in. We were 6 months in when I had troubles with my condo and I had no choice but to move out for my dog's sake. It was hard to find another place so quickly that allowed dogs and would let me be close to the office. Out of practicality and with the blessing & encouragement of his family, we decided to move in together at his place.
I was worried for all sorts of things but his family and even the help loved and accepted me and things became so convenient that I forgot all of my worries.
Until one morning, all hell broke loose. I found out that he has been cheating on me the whole time. I wanted to take myself out of there. It took 4 months of him wanting to reconcile (without really trying as he still continued) and his family doing their best to help us recover. But in the end, when it was just us two, he would belittle how I felt, never really owning up to his mistakes.
After talking with him and saying I no longer wanted this relationship and although it was embarrassing for me, I asked for a month max so I could find a place for me and my dog. He agreed to the boundaries I set but ended up breaking them. Despite me clarifying we were over, he blamed me for leading him on making him think we still had a chance. I had enough of the emotional battering he gave and without even knowing where to go I packed my things and left.
Going back to the now, a week into my being alone again, I guess it was the stress and the weather acting against me and I got sick. I knew no one in the area and I asked if he could deliver me my first aid kit I left in what used to be our room. After seeing my condition and the environment I was in, he took me home for a couple of days so I could recover. We've been in contact since - mostly over advice on where to have laundry done, which areas are safe to move to, etc. Kahit family niya nakakausap ko pa.
(TL;DR)
Pero ito yung problem ko: hindi ko alam kung tama pa ba ang ginagawa ko? Meron bang mag-ex na halos araw-araw pa rin naguusap? Nagkikita? Even my mom's told me to stay away as possible and for good reason naman.
Masyado lang ba akong comfortable not because of him but because of the convenience he insists on giving? Ang sama kong tao. Pakiramdam ko pinapaasa ko lang siya. Yung pamilya niya.

2023.05.31 01:21 Rich_Phase_1195 My girlfriend 26F broke up with me 22M
I love living in Minot, North Dakota and I recently discovered that that's where I want to settle down. She doesn't like the extreme cold, the fact that they don't have farmer's markets or any medspas for her beauty stuff and the difficulty of traveling to other states. Most times you need to take 2 flights and it's expensive. She was willing to move to any another city with those facilities but I like a small town in the middle of nowhere like that with extreme cold weather, that makes me happy and told her that I only want to live in Minot so she broke up with me after 4 years of being together. She calls me selfish. I don't know what to do. Prioritizing my happiness over her is a bad thing?

2023.05.31 01:19 carloandreaguilar Expats and social life in Bilbao and San Sebastian?
Hi guys. Im a native Spanish and English speaker. I'm 26. I grew up in different countries, Im not from Spain though. Currently in Madrid but this city is too big for my liking, and I hate hot weather. I reaaally liked Bilbao and San Sebastian when I visited. San Sebastian is one of the top 3 most beautiful places Ive ever seen and parts of Bilbao are too (Abando). I love the landscape and the weather too. Also love how you have worker co-ops here (Eroski for example).
Anyways, I think I would like living there, I have a good remote job, but I'm worried about the social scene for a foreigners moving there. How would I meet people? I dont like nightclubs by the way.
Has anyone had experience moving there without knowing anybody and NOT being in university? Must be relatively easy to meet people if you're a student. I heard people can be "colder" but I honestly prefer that kind of personality. Seems to me like the opposite of Andalucia personalities (very talkative and expressive). I consider my personality most similar to Basque people I've met so far in Spain.
What do you guys think? And is it easy to meet expats? If so, how? I dont see any Meetup events for Basque Country. I really enjoy meeting people from other parts of Europe, something which was very easy when I lived in Amsterdam. I get the impression theres not many expats in San Sebastián, and maybe not many in Bilbao either.
Thanks for reading! Any advice is appreciated.

2023.05.31 01:14 Profound_spirits Pune is a lovely city!
Visited Pune for the first time and spent a week. Loved how green it is and love people have for the trees. Weather was mild compared to other cities and has excellent connectivity. Didn't like the peak hour traffic though.
Do you think Pune is a good choice for retiring to? For a Hindi speaking couple?

2023.05.31 00:48 Yvonne_Caldwell Why Your City May Experience a Rolling Blackout and How to Be Prepared
📷 Why Your City May Experience a Rolling Blackout and How to Be Prepared
Introduction
As a professional in the energy storage industry, I have seen the importance of being prepared for a rolling blackout. A rolling blackout is a temporary power outage that occurs when the demand for electricity exceeds the supply. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including extreme weather conditions, power plant failures, and high demand during peak hours. In this article, we will explore what a rolling blackout is, why it happens, and how you can be prepared.
What is a Rolling Blackout?
A rolling blackout is a controlled power outage that is implemented by utility companies to prevent a total blackout. During a rolling blackout, power is temporarily cut off to certain areas for a short period of time, usually lasting between 15 minutes to an hour. The power is then restored to those areas while another area experiences a power outage. This process is repeated until the demand for electricity is reduced to a manageable level.
Why Do Rolling Blackouts Happen?
Rolling blackouts can happen for a variety of reasons. One of the most common reasons is extreme weather conditions, such as heat waves or cold snaps, which can cause a surge in demand for electricity as people turn on their air conditioners or heaters. Another reason is power plant failures, which can occur due to equipment malfunctions or natural disasters. Finally, rolling blackouts can happen during peak hours when the demand for electricity is at its highest.
How Can You Be Prepared?
Being prepared for a rolling blackout is essential, especially if you live in an area that is prone to power outages. Here are some tips to help you be prepared:
- Have a backup power source, such as a generator or battery backup system.
- Stock up on non-perishable food and water in case the power outage lasts for an extended period of time.
- Have a plan in place for how you will communicate with family and friends during a power outage.
- Keep a flashlight and extra batteries on hand.
- Unplug any non-essential electronics to prevent damage from power surges when the power is restored.
How Can None Help?
As a leading brand in the energy storage industry, None offers a range of products that can help you be prepared for a rolling blackout. Our battery backup systems can provide power to your home during an outage, ensuring that you have access to electricity when you need it most. In addition, our products are designed to be easy to use and install, so you can be prepared for a blackout in no time.
Conclusion
Rolling blackouts can be a frustrating and inconvenient experience, but being prepared can help minimize the impact. By understanding what a rolling blackout is, why it happens, and how you can be prepared, you can ensure that you and your family are ready for any power outage that may occur. And with None's range of energy storage products, you can have peace of mind knowing that you have a reliable backup power source.

2023.05.31 00:41 Vathy 34 [M4F] NYC/US - Still seeking someone to connect with for the long haul, friendly or more, as I would love to meet someone new!
Hi! They say persistence is key, so here I am again, still out here searching for someone to get to know. Haven't had anyone reach out (or that I've reached out to) in a bit, hoping to change that, and sending messages to people on here that never read them is quite exhausting over and over, so with that being said...
While I have a huge preference to people local to NYC, I'm open to conversation from people outside of it, just would love to meet eventually! I feel like I don't have anyone I can really call my go-to right now in terms of happily looking forward to spend time with doing things we want to do together.
Thus, I'm posting here again because while I've been on the search for a special someone, I've realized that I would love to honestly just get to meet and get to know people here local to the city, without any expectations, that would like to possibly hang out sometime in person if we clicked in conversation online. As a note before reading on, I'm looking for someone to spend more than 1 single conversation with. If you're just "bored and wanting attention", I may not be the guy for you :) With that being said!
I've been working from home for so long, that sometimes I realize I'm missing out on what the city has to offer and I'd like to have a reason to experience the cool things to do here in NYC with someone that lives here, too :)
Essentially, I'd like to find someone that browses here that's looking for someone to talk to online, but wouldn't mind hanging out when the opportunity allows. I'm fine with it being platonic (but if you're possibly looking for more, I'd love to have ya read my profile to see if we align in our interests) as well!
On my free time when I'm not coding at home, I like to go to the park often to play basketball as my way of getting exercise, but I'd love to essentially "re-visit" NYC. I also enjoy more homebody interests such as playing video games (open to basically any, though I play WoW the most currently), board games (I love chess), watching shows (would love to watch with someone irl or over calls), and just talking a lot. I'm generally very open to a lot of things as I enjoy doing something new, even if I know very little about it. Since coming back home 3 years ago after being away for a bit and not having much of a reason to venture out too far beyond my neighborhood (which I've gone around and met some people outside my age range in both directions), I'd love a chance to visit (with someone else looking for something to do) all the places I haven't been to in a while.
If you'd like to join me when I choose to do it myself sometime soon (or if you have places you'd like to go to where you'd enjoy a +1), I'd love to hear from ya. I was thinking of treating myself to a trip through some of the parks in Manhattan sometime just to enjoy the weather here soon and it'd be nice to have company.
Just tell me a bit about yourself, what you're looking for and if you'd like to possibly hang out sometime, let me know!
Hoping to make a new friend (or more)!
